BRAND NEW TWO STORY WRAP AROUND DECK, Patio, and Hot Tub! Come enjoy this Possum Kingdom Lakefront cabin and enjoy some of the best sunsets on the lake. The large yard is perfect for entertaining with plenty of space for the kids to run around and play, with a massive new deck with tons of outdoor seating. Walk out the back door and enjoy fishing, kayaking and sliding into the lake from the dock. Bring your Boat and Jet Ski's as this property has a beautiful dock and private on-site boat ramp for easy lake access. Relax in the brand new outdoor hot tub after a long day of playing or fishing on the lake. The large covered patio with Weber Gas grill is perfect for entertaining and family cookouts. The built in bar and seating for 12 provides plenty of space to enjoy dinner right on the water. The patio is equipped with blue tooth speakers so you can connect and listen to your favorite music while enjoying a lakeside meal.

Inside you will find a newly remodeled home that sleeps 8 adults with room for 10 with kids in the loft. The kids will fall in love with their own private loft with foam mattresses to add extra sleeping space.

- "The house was clean and cozy. The view and access to the lake is impeccable (honestly was the reason we chise the place and the main reason we loved it). The boat ramp and dock were super handy. The outdoor amenities offered lots of family fun and the neighbors were very friendly but not overly intrusive. The hosts were great and went above and beyond by shipping a forgotten car floormat back to me after the trip. Overall would highly recommend."

**Work Crews on per diem: Ask about our additional discount for 1 person single stays, or multiple repeat stays. We love repeat work crews who take care of our VRBO. We promise you a super clean rental, extra towels, strong hot water for shower, and good coffee. However: Unless staying for a night or two, our VRBO works best for max 2-3 workers staying overnight. Please don’t try to stuff our super clean VRBO with your 5 man work crew for a work week - max 2-3 man workcrew guests for multi night stay. Also, please don’t cook up a massive pot of Jambalaya in the room (😄) for our future guests to savor. If you need to sleep a crew of 4 or more workers for a single night the owner will approve *if* you request in advance, but this can’t work for more than 2-3 nights (please communicate honestly with owner or risk losing your entire $400 deposit for extra deep cleaning - house rule)**

- "Our group of nine just returned from five relaxing and fun-filled days at The Retreat in Possum Kingdom, Texas. Cabin 17 was spacious enough for our large group, comfortable in every way, spotlessly clean, and exactly what we had hoped for. The area is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. We were able to enjoy a nice view of the lake from the large back patio. Every morning and evening a lovely doe would come from the backyard forest to say "hello", and the birds continuously provided us with beautiful music. The spacious swimming pool was sparkling clean and such an added treat. We were all surprised at how quiet and perfect this spot was for our vacation. We will definitely book this cabin again!"

- "Our family enjoyed the porch views and access to the pool. Public boat ramp directly across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. Very clean. After the first night, we already decided that we would be back! The house was nice, there is a nice view of the lake(it is across the road), and it was mostly clean. There was a bug issue. Being by the lake, you assume there will be bugs, but there were tons of bugs covering the kitchen, which is located by the front door. There needs to be some solution to this. Other than the kitchen area, the rest of the house was super clean. There were window units in the bedrooms, but they had no issue cooling the rooms. We had an infant with us, so we spent some time hanging out on the floor. If you have a small child, I would suggest bringing a playmat or pack n play because the rug in the living room is not thick enough to soften any falls on the wood floors. Also, there is a lot of natural sunlight coming into the house which is beautiful, but not the best if you have a child that you’re trying to get to sleep in. Some curtains could help with this. This was a great place to stay and we will be coming back with our family. "
