Our Glamping Cabins sit up on a hill overlooking the river bottom and it is a quick walk down to the river. Guests are welcome to explore and use the many amenities of Son’s River Ranch including chairs and umbrellas by the river’s edge, the numerous hammocks which are spread through the property, sand volleyball court, fire pits and more!
There are 15 private, lockable full bathrooms located directly behind the Glamping Cabins. You can temporarily park and unload by your cabin then please park in the parking lot behind the Glamping Cabins.

Other things to note
Son’s River Ranch also rents Riverside Cabanas that can be added to a guests stay but it’s best to reserve ahead of time as we are normally full every day in the summer and most weekends. Cabanas are available from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and come with picnic table, BBQ pit, comfortable outdoor wicker furniture, water and electricity. Cabana rentals are extra, though Cabin guests may use picnic tables, lounge chairs and umbrellas down by the water free of charge.
We also rent tubes and kayaks. We have another location 2 miles downriver which is our tubing/kayaking take out. Shuttles run back and forth during the high season every day and most weekends during the off season (we do not run shuttles in the winter however and shuttles must be scheduled ahead of time). Our section of the river is very family friendly and has no dangerous dams or rapids. It’s a great place for beginners to kayak and just about anyone can tube. We provide free life jacket use for non or weak swimmers.

We have 10 private, lockable, full bathrooms with hot shower located next to the Glamping Cabins.

You won’t be leaving the conveniences of home behind either, the cabin has super-fast fiber optic Wi-Fi and smart TV in case you want to catch your favorite game or show or have a little work to do.

We are lucky to have 2 miles of the spring-fed Rio Cibolo Creek for you to explore and enjoy! The Creek has never been known to go dry in this section and the water, being spring fed, it is nearly the same temperature year! The Creek varies in depth from 1 to 8 feet deep along our stretch, there are spots perfect for siting and cooling off or swimming. The fishing is fantastic too with large catfish and bass! Families and friends spend countless hours here swimming, kayaking, relaxing, and having fun, in and along the banks of the Rio Cibolo Creek!

Son’s Rio Cibolo has lots of amenities off the creek too to enjoy as well, including: 3 pools, 4 hot tubs, basketball court, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, game room with pool table, shuffleboard, foosball, ping pong table, board games and more!

At night, each cabin has their own firepit so guests can hang out around the campfire under the stars, roasting marshmallows and having fun. There are also many picnic tables, BBQ pits, hammocks and comfy furniture located throughout the property to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Guest access
This cabin is one of 13 Glamping cabins at Son's Rio Cibolo Ranch, a 100-acre nature resort with 2 miles of gorgeous creek frontage! It's hard to find a prettier more peaceful creek than Rio Cibolo Creek, it is spring fed, has gorgeous water, always flows and is close to the same temperature year-round!  Families and friends spend countless hours here swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, enjoying nature, relaxing, and having fun!  The fishing is fantastic as well with large catfish and bass!

Other things to note
Wristbands for kayaking and paddleboarding access are available to be added to a guest's stay for an additional fee. DO NOT float down from the dam as the creek becomes very narrow and shallow in that direction. You will want to start at the dam where the kayaks are located and paddle up the creek. When you come to the next small dam, you can cross it and continue as that dam is the halfway point. You will eventually come to a bridge which is the end of our property and the farthest you can go. From there, please turn around and paddle back to where you started.

Creekside cabana rentals are available and can be added to a guest stay, though there is a fee for these and the cost varies depending on the time of year and day of week. It's best to reserve these ahead of time by going to Son's Rio Cibolo website as we routinely sell out, especially in the summer and on weekends. Cabanas come with comfortable wicker furniture seating, picnic table, BBQ pit, hammock, water and electricity. Day rentals are from 10:30 - 6:30 and include entry for 8 guests in case you want to bring additional family member and friends for the day who may not be spending the night with us.

As you enter the cabin through the hard wood front door, your jaw will drop at the sight of the luxurious over the top interior design and décor. The shiny hard wood floors, exposed wood beams, vaulted ceilings, enormous windows, and superior rustic décor will melt your heart away. The spacious open living room with a large leather sofa that sits right across from the elegant rock wall fireplace with large flat screen TV mounted above the mantle. The double glass doors and windows that open up to the magnificent panoramic hill country views provide plenty of natural sunlight that brightens up the whole room.

The space
The moment you arrive at our property and see the enormous eighty-foot cypress trees with decades-old wild Mustang grapevines hanging from their limbs, and a 100’ footbridge that takes you safely across the seasonal creek to your private tree house, you realize you are in a special place.

All treehouses have an attached private deck, an open living room, a dining area, and a kitchen with a loft above. The master suite is located on the first floor of the treehouse. Our Treehouses have AC/heat, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and 2 parking spaces per unit.

We are fortunate to be located near a beautiful section of the Guadalupe River on River Road between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake. Though not right on the river, our cabins sit over the seasonal dry creek bed and have 400 feet of river access across River Road with hammocks, picnic tables, fire pits, and chairs for your use.

Also, be aware for those guests staying in the lofts upstairs, our cabins are custom built around the trees, to decrease the weight of the structure, we used spiral staircases to the loft, which can be a bit narrow, but it is part of the charm of our treehouse cabins.!

**KAYAKS and TUBES ARE NOT included but can be rented at nearby outfitters. After a long day of tubing and river fun, many of our guests enjoy relaxing and barbecuing along the banks of the river, recounting the day’s excitement. Afterward, you can enjoy the nightlife and live music venues nearby or hang out with your family and friends on your private treehouse deck.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. We are nestled in the country covered with mesquite trees on 11 acres. We are 35 minutes from San Antonio texas . Less than two hours to Corpus Christi beach.. cabin has a full size bed with mini fridge and microwave. Full bathroom and tv, coffee pot. Private porch sitting by the fire pit. There’s an above ground pool to sit and enjoy, covered by trees. Pets allowed. Ac included.

1920's era cabin renovated and updated in 2015. Features a queen size bed, sleeper chair, full kitchen, Internet, TV and AC. The river access for fishing and boating is across the road and easy access. Canoes are available for guest use. There are also gas and charcoal grills available at the cabin.
