The Fern Cave, named after a hiking destination in Caprock Canyons, is a small (approximately 14’ x 18’) tiny cabin. It is a studio-style cabin, furnished with a queen-size bed and twin bunk beds. It sleeps 4 people. It has a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.

There is no kitchen or kitchen sink, but there is a compact refrigerator (smaller than a standard fridge, but bigger than a mini-fridge), microwave, coffeemaker, Roku TV, and an outdoor area with a gas grill. This cabin has a window A/C and heating unit.

Come stay in the Tonkawa, located just minutes from Caprock Canyons. This vacation rental is part of a historic homestead built in 1925, updated in the 90's, but still retaining the historic charm and decor from almost 100 years ago.

It is a three-bedroom, two-bath vacation rental.

Relax in the spacious living room with fold-out sofa, loveseat, and gas fireplace. Enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the big-screen Roku TV with Hulu.

Spend time cooking in a fully-equipped kitchen with a seating island, or grill your favorite foods on the outdoor gas grill (propane is provided).

This converted Historic Hall County Jailhouse has all the modern convenances of today's living amongst the early 1900's jailhouse remnants. This brick fortress of a structure is surrounded by an old iron fence. Inside you will find old iron gate, all the jail keys for decades past, even two jail cells with solid metal walls and door windows with bars. Hard to imagine all the stories that this building housed.

Upstairs you will find a big game room with ping pong, video arcade with many games, a pinball machine, darts, big screen TV, table and more. Be sure to check out the original article from the late 1800's about the state-of-the-art Jail Cage that used to be in the game room. Don't forget there is a pool table in the Hoosegow #1 out back.

You can park off the street in front or in the driveway on the side.

Memphis TX in the county seat in Hall County. Just off the 287 between Dallas and Amerillo. Great location right on the 287 and can head out in all directions efficiently. Quaint historic down town built around the county courthouse.

You have everything that you need and of course all of the rooms were clean. I wish we had more time to enjoy it but we were downtown for an event. We plan to stay again. I think some friends that came by to see us plan to rent it later on as well. The only “complaint” is that we are used to a King bed and these are smaller. It worked out though. Cabin is secluded on 55 fenced acres. There is a loft with queen and twin beds and a half bath. Downstairs is the living room, den, kitchen and full bath. Adjacent to the cabin is a beautiful pond for catch and release fishing. 55 acres to explore or ride ATVS during the day. Rodeo grounds nearby and plenty of other local activities. Near Palo Duro Canyon and Caprock Canyon State Parks and also the tourist attraction Big Texan Steak Ranch and Cadillac Ranch. We also offer hunting packages for mule, whitetail deer, dove, quail, turkey and hogs which are separate pricing than what’s listed on this site. WARNING: rattlesnakes, spiders, wasps, bees, wild hogs, coyotes, bobcats and possibly mountain lions could be located on this property. Be aware and observant. Beautiful night skies, sunrises and sunsets. Very peaceful. All bookings will require liability and lease agreements to be signed and returned before property access will be allowed.

Updated farmhouse on the historic Goodnight Buffalo Park. with incredible sunrises, sunsets, wildlife and quiet. Stay in the house that was built for Charles Goodnight so he had a peaceful place away from the original ranch headquarters. This house was built in 1922 and has been our family home since 1936.

This former Sheriff`s house sits next to the Historic Jailhouse (which is also a vacation rental property) . A separate outbuilding in the back that also held inmates is used as a shared space with the jailhouse and has a pool table. This is a cozy one bedroom home with an outdoor fenced yard. There is a wonderful, covered outdoor seating and dining area that is a shared space with the Jailhouse property.

The renovations of this 100 year old jail, I cannot articulate well, but you have to visit this property. We stayed Jan 26-28 at the adjoining Sheriff's house and had a very comfortable stay. The properties are immaculate, very well maintained and very well stocked toiletries and kitchen. We will continue our stays at both properties in Memphis."

I suggested this to the owner and he was receptive to the suggestion. The owner was actually easy to reach and responded quickly. The kitchen was actually of good size as well as the refrigerator that was full size. These were a welcome sight. The size of the cabin was fine for two people though I was solo. I would definitely stay here again if I find the need to be back in the area. "

This fenced in property is found on one of the many dirt roads surrounding the outskirts of town. Although, outside the city limits the location still has easy access to Paducah. Established tree lines have given this location the nick name “Woodlands”. The free range chickens and their keeper D.O.G. love to meet new people but don’t care for other animals at their oasis. So please leave pets at home. The property owner may be on premises when working locally but the entire camper is accessible for guests.

Outside of home not shown in pictures, which I didn’t realize upon renting. Neighborhood seemed sketchy with and we did not feel safe since the front door deadlock didn’t function properly. Burglar bars on back of house. However, owners were super nice and responsive. I would suggest they make the home feel more secure by replacing locks and repair door frame in kitchen which appears to have been damaged. "

At Lake Creek Ranch, you’ll enjoy a quiet stay in a lodge house equipped with a large kitchen, dining room, living room, and 4 spacious bedrooms that sleep up to 14 people. Each bedroom is private with an ensuite bathroom. (One bedroom is sunken and involves steps leading into it and separate steps up to the bathroom.) The wide back porch faces west for optimal viewing of West Texas sunsets and the opportunity to view both indigenous whitetail deer, imported red deer, and an abundance of other wildlife.
This cozy lodge is true to its Texas roots with a stone fireplace and rustic décor. The ranch is located a few miles east of Clarendon, Texas and the roads leading to it are not paved so a truck or SUV with 4-wheel drive is recommended.
You’ll be about an hour’s drive from Amarillo, home of the famous Cadillac Ranch, great shopping in the Route 66 Historic District and From 6th Collective, Hodgetown Stadium, the iconic Big Texan Steakhouse, Palo Duro Canyon and much more.

The Mourning Dove Tiny Cabin is a newly-updated cabin, approximately 12’ x 12’ on the inside, with a covered front porch and its own designated outdoor area.

Designed for just two guests, it is furnished with a queen-size bed, countertop bar, bathroom with shower and toilet, and kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, drip coffeemaker, and outdoor area with gas grill (we provide the propane). It has a window A/C/heating unit.

Linens and towels are provided, as well as dishes, silverware, and basic cookware and utensils.

There is a Roku TV and WiFi.

Complimentary coffee and light snacks are provided.

This cabin is small on space, but big in charm!

The Fern Cave, named after a hiking destination in Caprock Canyons, is a small (approximately 14’ x 18’) tiny cabin.

It is a studio/hotel-style cabin, furnished with a queen-size bed and twin bunk beds. It sleeps 4 people. It has a bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. There is no kitchen or kitchen sink, but there is a compact refrigerator (smaller than a standard fridge, but bigger than a mini-fridge), microwave, coffeemaker, and an outdoor area with gas grill. It has a window A/C unit.

Linens and towels are provided.

Complimentary coffee and light snacks are provided.

This is your chance to experience tiny cabin living at its best!

The Blue Quail Tiny Cabin is a newly-built, studio cabin (one room) with sleeping loft. It is furnished with a king-size bed downstairs and twin mattresses in the sleeping loft upstairs. It sleeps 4 people.

Please note: The stairs and space for the sleeping loft are tight and may not be easily accessible for all people. The bed downstairs is a king bed and on the ground level.

This cabin has a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a kitchenette with compact refrigerator (smaller than a standard fridge, but bigger than a mini-fridge), sink, microwave, coffeemaker, and gas grill with burner (we provide the propane). It has a window AC/heater unit.

The Bunk House has a bedroom with two queen beds and a closet. Kitchen with a microwave, stove, refrigerator and coffee pot. Connected table area. Open space with living room and screen tv in bedroom and living room with a DVD player availability. Bathroom with shower and towel available. Very clean built in 2015. We enjoy hosting.
