This cozy farm style tiny home awaits you. Behind "The Yellow Door” you will find a completely remodeled 1 bedroom with a loft that sleeps 6. It has all the comforts of home. Outside there is a large, covered porch with comfortable outdoor furniture for you to relax. "The Yellow Door” is nestled in a beautiful RV resort with all the amenities for you to enjoy. The resort has 2 outdoor pools, jacuzzi, playground, putting green, fitness room, and monthly summertime activities for all ages.

Welcome to "The Yellow Door” this tiny cabin is only 1.6 miles from beautiful Lake Travis, and 2 miles from Lake Austin. Best of both worlds! You can bring your boat, Jet Ski, paddleboard, fishing poles, floats etc. and enjoy the lake fun!

We are 35 minutes from Austin airport, 30 minutes from downtown, 45 minutes to circuit of America.

In the master bedroom you will find a comfortable memory foam queen mattress to get a good night sleep. There is also a stackable washer and dryer inside the master for your convenience, along with a 32-inch fire TV. In the upstairs loft there is 2 full-size memory foam mattresses and also another 32-inch fire TV. The tiny home does have its own strong Wi-Fi for any streaming, gaming, or work that you may want to do.

In the living room you will find a very comfortable brand-new sofa that faces a built-in working electric fireplace with a 42-inch fire TV, so grab a blanket curl up watch a movie and relax.

All TVs are fire TVs must have your own password to log in to any streaming app. We also have cable TV.

In the brand-new renovated kitchen, you will find a 3-burner gas stove, a microwave, convection oven, air fryer combo that is built-in to the butcher block kitchen island, refrigerator, and a large deep sink. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs.

Please note that this tiny cabin is privately owned by me and not through the resort. All bookings are done through me. Also, all questions and concerns go through me and not the front office.

All registered guests have full access to all amenities in the resorts when booking, The Yellow Door. If registered guest would like to use the pools, you must have a wristband on you while in the pool area. The wristband is provided.

The “Yellow Door” is a labor of love it has been completely remodeled from top to bottom by, my husband and I. It has all new floors, paint, furnishings, beds, linen, appliances, tankless hot water heater, dishes, utensils, pots and pans etc. Come and enjoy your stay and experience this luxurious tiny cabin.

A car is a must around Lake Travis. There is no boat ramp on the property. Please reserve a time at one of the nearby boat ramps. Mansfield Dam Boat Ramp - Please check availability online.

Rural areas may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, such as cell phone service and delivery services. We recommend enabling ‘wifi calling’ on your device.

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and staying compliant with short-term rental regulations. As part of our protection plan, included in your booking price, you will be required to complete an independent third-party verification through Truvi. Before your booking begins, you will be contacted via email and/or text to confirm your details and complete the verification process.

- Utilize the boat dock, dock swing, and dock elevator at your own risk.
- Please do not utilize the dock or elevator during unsafe weather conditions.
- Limit of 2 people at a time on the dock elevator. Please do not jump on the elevator.
- For your safety please ensure the dock elevator gate/entry way is closed and lock before use.
- Guests are not permitted to use the garage and 3 locked closets.
- Do not leave children unattended on the viewing deck, boat dock, dock elevator, or in the water.
- Please keep the gates locked at all times for safety. We will give you the combinations with your arrival instructions.
- The viewing deck by the firepit is off-limits to children and must remain locked at all times. Please use it at your own risk.
- The path from the viewing deck to the boat dock is closed and off-limits for all guests.
- Please note life jackets are not provided. We encourage guests to bring their own. It's Texas state law on recreational vessels under 26ft. in length when underway (including drifting or not at anchor), all children under 13 years old must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Adults must have a properly fitting life jacket that is easily accessible.
- If any furniture is moved during your stay, please place it back in it's original area.
- There are a lot of antiques on property. Please enjoy them but understand these items are precious to us. If items are damaged, the guest will be liable for these damages.
- This property is an original build from the 1800s. Please be cautious with the plumbing and only flush toilet tissue. Please do not put food or grease down the kitchen sink.
- There is no boat ramp on property. Please reserve a time at one of the nearby boat ramps. Mansfield Dam Boat Ramp - Please check availability online.
- In the event that you need to use the hard key, we kindly request that you place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key.

HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us.

As you may know, Texas is home to plenty of bugs, especially during cricket season. You may notice a few more of them around September and they’re completely harmless, though we understand they can be a bit pesky. To help keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed, especially in the evenings. If you happen to notice any inside, feel free to use the bug spray provided under the sink.

Circle J Cabin was originally built in 1940 and has been renovated with the charm and warmth of a rustic lakefront property set on the beautiful banks of Lake Travis. It was redesigned to offer all the comforts of home such as stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans throughout, custom tiled countertops, uniquely designed bathrooms (one walk in shower and one claw foot bathtub) and comfortably appointed bedrooms. The interior of Circle-J is accented with uniquely finished concrete flooring, a vaulted ceiling living room with custom furnishings that help make this a true lakeside retreat.
The large windows and expanded screened-in porch allows visitors to enjoy the natural Central Texas landscape. Step outside to walk down the gently sloping yard to the waters edge to take in fantastic views all around you. (Balcones National Wildlife Refuge to your left and Pace Bend State Park directly across the lake).

- "We had a great time at the Lake Cabin! Our dogs really enjoyed all the open space and swimming in the lake. The cabin was very clean and stayed nice and cool even in the heat. The enclosed porch was really nice to have as well. We had everything we needed, and thankfully brought food and drinks since the closest stores aren’t very close. There was a nearby summer camp using the property’s dock to take kids out in boats, but all our interactions with them were great, everyone was very friendly…and our pups enjoyed the extra pets!"

Drought conditions will affect the water levels for this property so please know that the pictures in the listing may not reflect the true level of water during your stay. We are not able to give refunds or cancellations due to low water levels.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

- "We enjoyed the cottage & sitting out on deck looking out on lake. Only con we just couldn’t swim because water too low. We will be back!" - "Everything was clean and comfy! Only issue we had is that the tree limbs hang pretty low so we couldn’t put our boat inside the gate. We called for alternate parking in the early evening and didn’t hear back until the next morning. Also the shower head should be replaced as it sprays out of the shower and makes a bit of a puddle outside the shower. We would stay again if we didn’t have our boat with us!"

The self described "national bar of Texas" the Lone Star bar is right across the street along with brand new Lucky Rabbit restaurant/bar where you will find live music every night. A short walk down Lura lane and you will find yourself at Jones brother's park with lake access (cars will need a sticker). - "We found the Cabin to be just the right size for the two of us. The privacy and comfortable interior was good. We notified them the coffee pot was broken, and they purchased a brand new one and brought it by the same day. Guests need to be aware the TV is streaming only. Though in no way a reflection on the host, the lake being so low was a disappointment as we chose the cabin based on fishing out the back door at the dock. We did enjoy R&R just the same."

On Texas Time Properties has 4 cabins on site. They are spread out on the property giving you and your guests space to your own.

**Lake Access: The current water levels on Lake Travis are VERY low; which made us having to close our dock. Please contact directly for any questions.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This cozy, tiny cabin awaits you. This is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom with a full size sofa sleeper, that has all the comforts of home. Outside there is a covered porch with a table with 4 chairs. It’s nestled in a beautiful RV resort with all the amenities for you to enjoy. The resort has 2 outdoor pools, a hot tub, playground, putting green, fitness room, clubhouse, 2 laundry facilities, walking trail, bocce court and more.

The space
This tiny cabin is only 1.6 miles from beautiful Lake Travis, and 2 miles from Lake Austin. Best of both worlds! You can bring your boat, Jet Ski, paddleboard, fishing poles, floats etc. and enjoy the lake fun!

I also own 2 other cabins in the resort, so if you’re looking to have a small family reunion, friends group or this cabin isn’t quite what you are looking for check out my other cabins.

The cabin is 10 minutes to Lakeway, 15 minutes to Bee Cave, 35 minutes from Austin airport, 30 minutes from downtown, 45 minutes to circuit of America.

We only supply the essential just for a weekend stay, so if you staying longer you will need to bring extra supplies with you.

This is a tiny home, so it only has small 20 gallon hot water heater, so be mindful of how long you take a hot shower.

Please note, the tiny cabin is privately owned by me, and not through the resort. All bookings, questions or concerns are done through me. Also there are other tiny homes and RV’s around, so please be respectful of the neighbors. There is a property manager on site, if you need any thing.

Only registered guests have full access to all amenities in the resorts. The cabin only accommodates 4 guests.

Everyone loves the amenities at the resort, but please note that the amenities at the resort are out of my control, if they are working or not. The resort does try their best to fix any problems in the resort in a timely manner.

Please note that the cabin has a cobble rock pathway that leads to the front of the cabin, where you will find the front door. Please watch your step. If you were coming at dark time, the pathway is lit up. There is a step down just before you get to the porch stairs. Just be careful!

Guest have access of the whole cabin. They also have access to all resort amenities.

Other things to note
We only supply the essentials for a few night stay. If you’re booking more than a few nights, I’d advise to bring your own essentials and toiletries.

The space
The heart of this cabin is the outdoor oasis! Enjoy your morning coffee on your private front porch with sparkling lake views. Swim in your private unheated swimming pool and relax on the sun loungers.

Discover the spacious gazebo; ideal for shaded relaxation, playing darts and jenga, grilling delicious meals on the charcoal BBQ, while eating your meals al fresco.

Further down the property, you'll discover the majestic 9 Oaks area. Gather around the fire pit nestled among the oaks for evenings filled with, laughter and storytelling, under a blanket of stars.

Just a short walk to the lake, our private boat dock awaits. Complete with a picnic table, kayaks, and life jackets ready for your use. Feel free to swim or paddle at YOUR OWN RISK and enjoy the water at your leisure.

The Sunday House Cabin sits on a large family owned property that dates back to the early 1900’s.
The owner’s home sits up on the hill and the cabin is located at the end of the drive.

The Sunday House cabin has the best view of the lake from the front porch. The lake is a short 4 minute walk down our dirt road/boat ramp.

Our cozy tiny abode, a retreat from the ordinary. For the past 2 ½ years, this tiny cottage was our sanctuary.

While we own the cottage itself, we lease the plot it sits on from Sun Outdoors RV Resort. As guests of the resort, you'll have access to all its amenities, including two outdoor pools (one with a heated pool connected to the hot tub), a jacuzzi, fitness room, putting green, and playground.

The space
The tiny home has approximately 630 sq ft of living space (including the porch). The home has been renovated adding the porch, changing the loft's layout, and adding a stackable washer/dryer unit. For 2½ years, we modified and maximized some areas to be more accessible and functional for daily living. The tiny home has one bedroom and, a 2-level loft (the 2nd level is for sleeping only, while in the 1st part of the loft, you have to kneel or duck to access it if you are an adult. It has a full kitchen (4 stove burners, oven, microwave), and a sink area. The bathroom is spacious, stackable washer and dryer is in full use.

As a guest at the RV Resort, the cottage is surrounded by shared amenities including a pool, exercise room, laundry facility, kids playground, putt-putt area, and dog park.

Lake Travis is within a 3-mile distance, but due to the area being membership access only, we do not have access to the lake, but there are nearby parks that can be accessed by public. Downtown Austin is located 20 miles south, nearby cities like Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Lakeway, Bee Cave might be close in mileage, but it can be a long commute due to traffic. The distance typically takes around 30 to 45 minutes, varying with the flow of traffic throughout the town.

Moreover, for those unfamiliar with navigating the hilly terrain, driving through them at night might feel somewhat challenging.

Guest access
As a guest of A31, you can access all amenities within the RV Resort (i.e. pools, laundry facilities, exercise equipment, putt², kid's playground, and dogs park. To access the laundry area, you need a code to get in.

The space
Built in 1975, this handmade cabin is a true Austin original. High on charm and replete with all the modern comforts you'd expect, recent updates include custom kitchen and gorgeous built-in woodwork throughout. Although the space is located just thirty minutes from downtown Austin, you'll be utterly transported by the wooded setting and shimmering lake views.

The cabin is adorned with vintage textiles from around the world, handmade piece from makers near and far, and natural elements that highlight the rustic beauty of the space. The large covered patio is the perfect place to start the morning with a cup of coffee and unwind at the end of the day as you watch the hill country sunset.

The house features a light-filled master bedroom and reading loft, antique clawfoot bathtub, custom-built kitchen, dining area that seats four, as well as a living room and spacious covered patio. The second bedroom stands apart from the main house, and offers ample privacy.

The kitchen is fully stocked with Canyon coffee, organic herbal tea, and everything you'll need to cook a gourmet meal. During your stay you'll have full use of the four burner electric stove, convection oven, mini fridge, outdoor chest freezer, stainless steel pots and pans, high quality chef's knives, stoneware, wine glasses, french press and pour-over.

*IMPORTANT* We are on an older septic system and have delicate plumbing. We kindly ask that you flush only small amounts of toilet paper to prevent any issues during your stay.

When running a bath during the colder months you may need to reduce the flow of the tap to achieve the desired temperature. Rest assured there is plenty of hot water, it may just take a while for the bath to fill! Additionally, please note that the bathroom features an elegant antique clawfoot tub but does not have a shower.

The outdoor tub is an absolute dream and we can’t wait for you to experience it! Please note that during periods when temps are below freezing (a rarity in Austin) the tub is not available for use as we have to drain the lines to protect our plumbing!

Please note that the cabin is not suitable for those looking for total silence during their stay. While the space is quite peaceful most of the time, we are situated within earshot of houses that occasionally host large parties. We recommend booking mid-week to reduce the likelihood of any late night noise.

We are proud to steward wild land where many creatures make their home. Please respect the deer, armadillos, and any other animals you see on the property by giving them space and refraining from feeding them.

The cabin is located in within walking distance of Hippie Hollow (clothing optional) and Windy Point. Both require a small entrance fee so be sure to bring cash if you’d like to visit either park.

The cabin is routinely treated for pests using non-toxic compounds. However, it is located in a wooded setting and it is possible you may see some critters in or around the space during your stay. If this is the case, please let us know and we will have our team come out to re-treat the house ASAP.

- No Lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk (Lake Travis). Always supervise children.
- Utilize the boat dock, dock swing, and dock elevator at your own risk.
- Please do not utilize the dock or elevator during unsafe weather conditions.
- Limit of 2 people at a time on the dock elevator. Please do not jump on the elevator.
- For your safety please ensure the dock elevator gate/entry way is closed and lock before use.
- Guests are not permitted to use the garage and 3 locked closets.
- Do not leave children unattended on the viewing deck, boat dock, dock elevator, or in the water.
- Please keep the gates locked at all times for safety. We will give you the combinations with your arrival instructions.
- The viewing deck by the firepit is off-limits to children and must remain locked at all times. Please use it at your own risk.
- The path from the viewing deck to the boat dock is closed and off-limits for all guests.
- Please note life jackets are not provided. We encourage guests to bring their own. It's Texas state law on recreational vessels under 26ft. in length when underway (including drifting or not at anchor), all children under 13 years old must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Adults must have a properly fitting life jacket that is easily accessible.
- If any furniture is moved during your stay, please place it back in it's original area.
- There are a lot of antiques on property. Please enjoy them but understand these items are precious to us. If items are damaged, the guest will be liable for these damages.
- This property is an original build from the 1800s. Please be cautious with the plumbing and only flush toilet tissue. Please do not put food or grease down the kitchen sink.
- There is no boat ramp on property. Please reserve a time at one of the nearby boat ramps. Mansfield Dam Boat Ramp - Please check availability online.
- In the event that you need to use the hard key, we kindly request that you place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key.

HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please note that this is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. Rural areas like ours may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services.

As you may know, Texas is known for its bug inhabitants. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage this, and it shouldn't pose a problem during your stay. To help us keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed. Please feel free to use the bug spray underneath the sink.

Thoughtfully curated, this unique lakefront hideaway is a true Texas gem. Originally a one room hunting cabin, she has now been transformed into this unique home. Perched above a highly sought after "honey hole" on Lake Travis, this 1.5 acre property boasts sweeping views of the lake. Private water access, parking, privacy, a dock, fire pit, large flat turf yard, multiple decks, amazing bird watching, two grills (gas) & vibe galore. Come for the lake, stay for the sunsets. Absolutely NO PARTIES.

The space
Wake up in the primary bedroom that features a king bed with a PURPLE mattress, blackout drapes and a 42" smart tv. It's right next to a bathroom that has a walk in shower, and a large copper, clawfoot soaking tub. GLORIOUS! Open the drapes and look out to the most beautiful view of the lake!

The 2nd bedroom is across the house and set up like a bunk room. (all PURPLE MATTRESSES) A queen bed on the bottom bunk, full on top bunk. A day bed that features a twin mattress on top, and a twin mattress that pulls out below. It's attached to a big bathroom that features a large walk in shower, and a door that opens to the patio.

The house is very open concept, and great for families.
The home features the original limestone walls, exposed wood beams and custom woodwork throughout. Vintage Beni Ourain rugs grace the floors, and thoughtfully curated furniture fill the rooms.

Local Austin fave, Clay Import's Emerald Green Palmas tile is a must see along the walls of our wet bar.

It is 100% NOT A PARTY HOUSE. Our neighbors will be super bummed, and there is noise ordinance that kicks ins at 10pm. Please choose someone else's home for your rager. :)

Chef's kitchen features a subzero fridge/freezer. Dishwasher, garbage disposal and more. Looking to cook? Our home is outfitted with OUR PLACE cookware and dinnerware. Make a good cup of coffee in the morning with the KEURIG or FRENCH PRESS. You should know, our home is not a "brand new build" style home. She's old, 1961 so be exact. She has her quirks, but it's part of what makes her so friggin' awesome! For example, our stove/range is a vintage WOLF, and it's SO DOPE! But she can be temperamental! (We have supplied you with a toaster oven just in case that feels overwhelming) But the WIFI is GREAT, and so are the sunsets.

Doordash delivers there and you are 12 mins from a major grocery store.

The cabin is in the country, which means some Texas wildlife! There are lots of deer, and lizards and such. Ducks down by the dock and LOTS of fish in the lake.

Speaking of the lake, there is absolutely NO DIVING OR JUMPING from the dock. There are multiple signs posted as well.

Guests assume all responsibility when deciding to go on or near the water or dock.

Guests are required to wear lifejackets anytime they are accessing the water or dock. If you do not have one, we can help, feel free to reach out. The lake level varies, it is a steep walk to the water below. Please use caution.

This towering cabin in the woods with stellar Lake Travis views with 4 bedrooms each with their own private bathroom and an additional half bath. The master bedroom's star feature is a luxurious King size Tempur-Pedic massage/tilt mattress. The other 2 bedrooms in the main house are upstairs and features king bed in 1 room and queen bed as well as bunk beds in the other. The 4th bedroom is located above the garage with a private entrance and has a queen size Tempur-Pedic massage/tilt mattress.

The space
Upon entry into this home you will be greeted by towering ceilings with exposed cedar beams, an open concept kitchen and living room area with dining for 8 adorned with an indescribable chandelier. The kitchen comes fully equipped to accommodate cooking for your entire group, including a Keurig coffee machine as well as a standard coffee pot and brand new state of the art appliances. The kitchen also features bar seating for 3 and a half bath near the laundry room. The living room has a gas fireplace for cuddling up during chilly weather and a large smart TV for all your binge watching needs. There is also a private desk area with printer/scanner and high speed internet so working remote is a breeze. The only bedroom located downstairs is the master which is outfitted with a King size Tempur-Pedic mattress that has an adjustable tilt base and massage features in addition to a 70" Samsung Smart TV with sound bar. The master bathroom has a large double vanity and a walk-in stone rain shower with a hand-held option. Privacy is a must so the master bedroom is equipped with a lock on the door. Upstairs there is plenty of space with room to sleep up to 6. There are two bedrooms upstairs each with their own private bath with a shower/tub combo. The first bedroom has a Queen size bed along with a set of bunk beds and a 55" Samsung Smart TV with sound bar. The second bedroom is spacious with a King size bed. The 4th bedroom located above the garage with a private entrance has a state of the art Queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress. This bedroom also has it's own private bathroom. This home features a Sonos sound system throughout.

The outdoor space features a built in gas grill, patio seating for 6, outdoor dining table for 4, and additional seating by the grill for 5. This home comes complete with footballs, a basketball, cornhole, pickle ball set, and washer set. You will have plenty of space to sit back and relax watching the deer graze and enjoying the lake view or plenty of room for fun in the sun all while looking over Devil's Cove - the most popular spot on Lake Travis.

Other things to note
The house is monitored by cameras. There is one in front monitoring the driveway and entrance as well as one out back overlooking the back patio and back door. These are for safety purposes and are used in case of an incident on site.
