This cozy farm style tiny home awaits you. Behind "The Yellow Door” you will find a completely remodeled 1 bedroom with a loft that sleeps 6. It has all the comforts of home. Outside there is a large, covered porch with comfortable outdoor furniture for you to relax. "The Yellow Door” is nestled in a beautiful RV resort with all the amenities for you to enjoy. The resort has 2 outdoor pools, jacuzzi, playground, putting green, fitness room, and monthly summertime activities for all ages.

Welcome to "The Yellow Door” this tiny cabin is only 1.6 miles from beautiful Lake Travis, and 2 miles from Lake Austin. Best of both worlds! You can bring your boat, Jet Ski, paddleboard, fishing poles, floats etc. and enjoy the lake fun!

We are 35 minutes from Austin airport, 30 minutes from downtown, 45 minutes to circuit of America.

In the master bedroom you will find a comfortable memory foam queen mattress to get a good night sleep. There is also a stackable washer and dryer inside the master for your convenience, along with a 32-inch fire TV. In the upstairs loft there is 2 full-size memory foam mattresses and also another 32-inch fire TV. The tiny home does have its own strong Wi-Fi for any streaming, gaming, or work that you may want to do.

In the living room you will find a very comfortable brand-new sofa that faces a built-in working electric fireplace with a 42-inch fire TV, so grab a blanket curl up watch a movie and relax.

All TVs are fire TVs must have your own password to log in to any streaming app. We also have cable TV.

In the brand-new renovated kitchen, you will find a 3-burner gas stove, a microwave, convection oven, air fryer combo that is built-in to the butcher block kitchen island, refrigerator, and a large deep sink. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs.

Please note that this tiny cabin is privately owned by me and not through the resort. All bookings are done through me. Also, all questions and concerns go through me and not the front office.

All registered guests have full access to all amenities in the resorts when booking, The Yellow Door. If registered guest would like to use the pools, you must have a wristband on you while in the pool area. The wristband is provided.

The “Yellow Door” is a labor of love it has been completely remodeled from top to bottom by, my husband and I. It has all new floors, paint, furnishings, beds, linen, appliances, tankless hot water heater, dishes, utensils, pots and pans etc. Come and enjoy your stay and experience this luxurious tiny cabin.

A car is a must around Lake Travis. There is no boat ramp on the property. Please reserve a time at one of the nearby boat ramps. Mansfield Dam Boat Ramp - Please check availability online.

Please note this is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country. It's common in rural areas to encounter wildlife that can include birds, reptiles, deer, or other local fauna. Rural areas may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, such as cell phone service and delivery services. We recommend enabling ‘wifi calling’ on your device.

Other Things to Note:
Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and staying compliant with short-term rental regulations. As part of our protection plan, included in your booking price, you will be required to complete an independent third-party verification through Truvi. Before your booking begins, you will be contacted via email and/or text to confirm your details and complete the verification process.

To ensure a smooth check-in experience, you'll also be asked to review and sign the house rules and FCM Homes terms & conditions via the Guest App Link sent in your reservation confirmation. - No Lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk (Lake Travis). Always supervise children.
- Utilize the boat dock, dock swing, and dock elevator at your own risk.
- Please do not utilize the dock or elevator during unsafe weather conditions.
- Limit of 2 people at a time on the dock elevator. Please do not jump on the elevator.
- For your safety please ensure the dock elevator gate/entry way is closed and lock before use.
- Guests are not permitted to use the garage and 3 locked closets.
- Do not leave children unattended on the viewing deck, boat dock, dock elevator, or in the water.
- Please keep the gates locked at all times for safety. We will give you the combinations with your arrival instructions.
- The viewing deck by the firepit is off-limits to children and must remain locked at all times. Please use it at your own risk.
- The path from the viewing deck to the boat dock is closed and off-limits for all guests.
- Please note life jackets are not provided. We encourage guests to bring their own. It's Texas state law on recreational vessels under 26ft. in length when underway (including drifting or not at anchor), all children under 13 years old must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Adults must have a properly fitting life jacket that is easily accessible.
- If any furniture is moved during your stay, please place it back in it's original area.
- There are a lot of antiques on property. Please enjoy them but understand these items are precious to us. If items are damaged, the guest will be liable for these damages.
- This property is an original build from the 1800s. Please be cautious with the plumbing and only flush toilet tissue. Please do not put food or grease down the kitchen sink.
- There is no boat ramp on property. Please reserve a time at one of the nearby boat ramps. Mansfield Dam Boat Ramp - Please check availability online.
- In the event that you need to use the hard key, we kindly request that you place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key.

HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us.

As you may know, Texas is home to plenty of bugs, especially during cricket season. You may notice a few more of them around September and they’re completely harmless, though we understand they can be a bit pesky. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage them, and it shouldn’t pose a problem during your stay. To help keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed, especially in the evenings. If you happen to notice any inside, feel free to use the bug spray provided under the sink.

Circle J Cabin was originally built in 1940 and has been renovated with the charm and warmth of a rustic lakefront property set on the beautiful banks of Lake Travis. It was redesigned to offer all the comforts of home such as stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans throughout, custom tiled countertops, uniquely designed bathrooms (one walk in shower and one claw foot bathtub) and comfortably appointed bedrooms. The interior of Circle-J is accented with uniquely finished concrete flooring, a vaulted ceiling living room with custom furnishings that help make this a true lakeside retreat.
The large windows and expanded screened-in porch allows visitors to enjoy the natural Central Texas landscape. Step outside to walk down the gently sloping yard to the waters edge to take in fantastic views all around you. (Balcones National Wildlife Refuge to your left and Pace Bend State Park directly across the lake).

- "We had a great time at the Lake Cabin! Our dogs really enjoyed all the open space and swimming in the lake. The cabin was very clean and stayed nice and cool even in the heat. The enclosed porch was really nice to have as well. We had everything we needed, and thankfully brought food and drinks since the closest stores aren’t very close. There was a nearby summer camp using the property’s dock to take kids out in boats, but all our interactions with them were great, everyone was very friendly…and our pups enjoyed the extra pets!"

Due to the 2021 winter storm, the washer and dryer at this home are not available.
Drought conditions will affect the water levels for this property so please know that the pictures in the listing may not reflect the true level of water during your stay. We are not able to give refunds or cancellations due to low water levels.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

- "We enjoyed the cottage & sitting out on deck looking out on lake. Only con we just couldn’t swim because water too low. We will be back!" - "Everything was clean and comfy! Only issue we had is that the tree limbs hang pretty low so we couldn’t put our boat inside the gate. We called for alternate parking in the early evening and didn’t hear back until the next morning. Also the shower head should be replaced as it sprays out of the shower and makes a bit of a puddle outside the shower. We would stay again if we didn’t have our boat with us!"

The self described "national bar of Texas" the Lone Star bar is right across the street along with brand new Lucky Rabbit restaurant/bar where you will find live music every night. A short walk down Lura lane and you will find yourself at Jones brother's park with lake access (cars will need a sticker). Need space to park your boat/ jet ski? we've got room for that too on the roundabout driveway. - "We found the Cabin to be just the right size for the two of us. The privacy and comfortable interior was good. We notified them the coffee pot was broken, and they purchased a brand new one and brought it by the same day. Guests need to be aware the TV is streaming only. Though in no way a reflection on the host, the lake being so low was a disappointment as we chose the cabin based on fishing out the back door at the dock. We did enjoy R&R just the same."

The Matthew is located on a property with 3 other cabins. It features one king bed, kitchen, pullout couch, TV, AC, personal grilling & firepit area.

On Texas Time Properties has 4 cabins on site. They are spread out on the property giving you and your guests space to your own.

**Lake Access: The current water levels on Lake Travis are VERY low; which made us having to close our dock. Please contact directly for any questions.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This cozy, tiny cabin awaits you. This is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom with a full size sofa sleeper, that has all the comforts of home. Outside there is a covered porch with a table with 4 chairs. It’s nestled in a beautiful RV resort with all the amenities for you to enjoy. The resort has 2 outdoor pools, a hot tub, playground, putting green, fitness room, clubhouse, 2 laundry facilities, walking trail, bocce court and more.

The space
This tiny cabin is only 1.6 miles from beautiful Lake Travis, and 2 miles from Lake Austin. Best of both worlds! You can bring your boat, Jet Ski, paddleboard, fishing poles, floats etc. and enjoy the lake fun!

The cabin is 10 minutes to Lakeway, 15 minutes to Bee Cave, 35 minutes from Austin airport, 30 minutes from downtown, 45 minutes to circuit of America.

We only supply the essential just for a weekend stay, so if you staying longer you will need to bring extra supplies with you.

This is a tiny home, so it only has small 20 gallon hot water heater, so be mindful of how long you take a hot shower.

Please note, the tiny cabin is privately owned by me, and not through the resort. All bookings, questions or concerns are done through me. Also there are other tiny homes and RV’s around, so please be respectful of the neighbors. There is a property manager on site, if you need any thing.

Only registered guests have full access to all amenities in the resorts. The cabin only accommodates 4 guests.

Everyone loves the amenities at the resort, but please note that the amenities at the resort are out of my control, if they are working or not. The resort does try their best to fix any problems in the resort in a timely manner.

Please note that the cabin has a cobble rock pathway that leads to the front of the cabin, where you will find the front door. Please watch your step. If you were coming at dark time, the pathway is lit up. There is a step down just before you get to the porch stairs. Just be careful!

Guest access
Guest have access of the whole cabin. They also have access to all resort amenities.

Other things to note
We only supply the essentials for a few night stay. If you’re booking more than a few nights, I’d advise to bring your own essentials and toiletries.

New propane grill on porch and two chairs to relax in for your morning coffee and to watch the sunrise. Homeowners park within walking distance with dock on main body of Lake Travis.
