You will make lifetime memories at this wonderful gathering location nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country on the northern shores of Lake Travis. The home is built to entertain and host, with ample room and a rich variety of entertainment. The lake is at your disposal nearby with parks, boat ramps, and water activities. Also, it is less than 40 miles to downtown Austin, so a night out in the city is well within reach, and you will have a cozy and secluded house in the hills to return to.
The space
The city motto of Lago Vista is, “live like you’re on vacation,” and your group will understand why after spending time here. The home, with its fine wood flooring and stone wall stylings, has 6 bedrooms with three king size beds, and four full bathrooms available as well as large living and dining rooms. A full kitchen will be at the ready for meal preparation with stainless steel appliances, plenty of countertop space, an open floor area for maneuvering, and a bar top section into the dining room with three barstools. The outside area is expansive and hosts only the beginning of the entertainment available with seating around a smokeless fire pit for lounging and smores, a BBQ pit, corn hole, ring toss, and more. Inside continues the options for fun with more games such as pool, ping pong, shuffle board, and many DVDs of movies spanning all genres and options for all ages. If any work must be done while there, the two master bedrooms have desks in them for working with additional privacy, as well as one desk near the living area.

Guests have access to all areas of the home. Four bedrooms will be on the top level, and the other two are on the lower level.
Other things to note
There are several places to launch boats nearby, but many are only operational at certain lake levels. We encourage you to check ahead of time with them to see what the closest active option will be during your stay.

In the city of Lago Vista just a few miles away there are grocery stores you can visit to get any provisions you will need for your stay.

Parties and events are prohibited by Airbnb as a platform and property management. Smoking is not allowed. Pets are also not allowed, but there is a fantastic boarding option nearby at The Lago Vista Pet Retreat, which is only a quarter mile down the road.

NO Lake Access due to drought. Nestled in a quiet cove, this house offers a peaceful retreat for your next getaway or business workshop. Relax at the lounge on one of the four balconies, or watch the sunset down at the fire pit. Inside, enjoy the two living rooms or venture up the spiral stairs to the crow’s nest for a panoramic view. If you need to get some work done, take your pick between a dedicated office or the conference room with multiple whiteboards. The Lake House is the perfect spot for work and play.

The space:
Whether you are here for a work retreat or an executive getaway, “The Lake House” has several quiet areas for you to escape and recharge. In the morning, you will enjoy coffee from the Jura coffee machine as you watch fish jump across the surface of the lake. Feel free to relax in one of three outdoor patios or down on the private dock. If you feel productive, you can start the day with a workout in the CrossFit inspired full gym, which features a squat rack, free weights, Universal machine, and a Peloton.

When you feel inspired to get some work done, head up the spiral staircase for a view of the entire lake area. There you will feel inspired to write, create, and brainstorm, or you can use it as a recording area with a view.

On the main floor you will find the living room, fully stocked kitchen, and dining area, as well as a balcony. There are two bedrooms (one with a full bed and one with 2 twin beds), a full bathroom, and a half bath/laundry room combo. The main floor also has a dedicated office space with plenty of desk space, including an adjustable standing desk, a printer, 2 monitors, and access to your typical office supplies. Of course, there is wifi available throughout the house.

The primary suite has its own floor, and the bedroom has a queen bed and a chaise lounge. You will enjoy lake views from your bedroom, or you can escape to the small balcony for a full outdoor view. The crown jewel of the house is the master bathroom, which features a luxurious tub and a large shower with three showerheads.

If your co-workers or clients come to visit, you can surprise them by opening the secret doorway that leads to the conference area. There you will find a wall of whiteboards and a conference table to work together, with a mini bar, small fridge, and lounge area ready to support a full work day.

Should you choose to bring children, you can send them away to the kids playroom room, which is stocked full of art supplies, books, and toys, as well as a wall of white boards for fun doodling. If they like it there too much to leave, they can sleep on the futon that folds out into a single bed.

When you feel ready to end the day, you will discover the hammock in the backyard, and you can put a signature on the day by the fire pit and private dock. The lake temperature is always inviting, and there is a swim ladder to make it easier to get on and off the dock when you go swimming in the lake.

At night you can turn on the string lights in the backyard trees as well as on the decks off the main floor living room and the basement living room. They make for a magical experience once the sun has set.

Whether you stay at the house all day or escape to one of the many wonderful restaurants in the area, “The Lake House” offers a perfect place for a quiet escape for you, your family, or your clients.

Guest access:
The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on a narrow road so parking along the street is discouraged because it's so narrow. But the garage will hold 2 cars and is available for your use, including the EV charger, and the driveway can park 6 cars. You have full use of the house, the yard, and the dock (except the 2 jet skis).

Other things to note - EVENTS:
The house is available for events, gatherings, and some types of parties. We've done several workshops and retreats at the house, which are a perfect fit for the space. The house accommodates a group of 15-20 daytime guests very well. We might consider allowing 25-30 people depending on the event, but 30 would be the maximum number allowed. (Please reach out and let us know your needs and we can discuss your options.)

We have some supplies on hand that help manage a workshop or retreat with ease. And we'd be happy to share information on how we've handled events successfully in the past.

If you're interested in doing any kind of event, you will need to be approved first. Please reach out to me before booking with the details so we can discuss what's possible. Without approval, any kind of event is prohibited and the house rule of a 10 guest maximum remains in effect.

Note: With event approval, you could be allowed to have up to 30 people at the house, but only during the daytime. Overnight guests at the house are limited to 10 people.

- "Up until the night before we were to arrive communication was good. The night before I asked about check-in instructions, got nothing until the next morning. I got zero information about a door code. It was not until I texted the property manager that were 20 mins away that we were told where the key was because the front keypad lock was running through batteries. We get to the house but had to go down a sketchy street. We pull up to discover there is another house on the property that looks to be rented long term. There was not an issue it was just unexpected. I contacted the manager because it looked like the two were actually attached. This is when we find out this is actually a family compound. We find the key and go in, only to be created by a stale smell and all the typical bugs one finds inside usual lake houses. As stated the house is old and refinished. It is pier and beam and literally every step one takes results in a creak of the floor that echoes all over the house. The red bedroom has a brick hard bed, the lower bunk bed is okay, the master bed is somewhat comfy as is the other queen bed. By far the brown couches are the best sleeping spot. The master shower is good, but the bathtub, not so much. We had four towels for 5 people and ended up buying towels because they smelled bad. We actually found towels in the dryer, but they also smelled mildewy. Finally the microwave works but then has to cool down before it can be used again. The pool and the view are great."

For additional sleeping space, this property has 2 unique bunk houses. The larger of the 2 has a kitchenette and 2 futons that open into twin beds.

The start of the long butcher block counter has a coffee maker and espresso machine. At the end of the long butcher block counter is a 4-burner cooktop and a microwave and warming drawer. The butcher block island is where the kitchen sink and dishwasher are located. Instead of preparing meals in the kitchen, there is a Propane BBQ grill on the 2nd floor deck as well.

In the basement, there is a range with a microwave vent that sits between with butcher block counter on each side. The butcher block counter is where the kitchen sink and dishwasher are located. A BBQ grill is provided on the 2nd floor deck and one on the basement patio along with a propane tank and common grilling accessories and cleaner. If you do not want to clean the grill, a $50 cleaning fee will be deducted from your deposit.

Please read the house and Point Venture rules (green binder). There is a $200 fee for any park/community rules broken. If you plan to bring a pet, there is a $50 to $300 non-refundable pet fee for each pet depending on the length of stay. There is a $200 fee for not stating that pets will be on the property. (Our cleaning lady is allergic, so we need to send a different cleaner. (Please mention all the animals that will be on the property).
Please break down any boxes before throwing them out. Garbage is located at the end of street. Please respect your neighbors. Some live their full time, not just on weekends.

Be sure to get Groceries in Cedar Park at HEB on 183. Lago Vista has a small Lowe’s grocery store and may not have what you want or need. Please note when searching on the internet regarding distance to a location, for example, Lakeway is an hour away, as you will have to go around Lake Travis. There is no bridge access. Please note many restaurants close earlier in this area as opposed to many other vacation areas. Want to save on your stay? Ask how. The Authorization deposit is refunded within 5 days after check-out! There are perimeter cameras on the exterior of the property only for safety.

Access is not available to the basement or locked storage closets which have cleaning supplies. Sometimes the host stays in the basement. There is a double locked door in between units.

Leave beds used unmade with sheets on them. Do not remake the beds. To keep critters away in the Texas heat please start dishwasher and take out the trash upon check out. Put towels in the laundry room. Clean the grill after use. If extra cleaning is required after check-out the fee will be passed on to you by the cleaners. Please be mindful of neighbors. No loud music or yelling. This is a great way to keep family close. Outside smoking and vaping only. Do not take more than one vehicle into the 50-acre lakefront park. Only one vehicle per card is allowed. We suggest walking or making two trips. Please do not leave trailers in the water on the ramp after putting the boat into water. No loud noise after 10 pm; otherwise, there is a $500 fine. Any other excessive noise that gets reported will be subject to a fine as well at any time. Please respect the village and long-term neighbors by lowering voices and not playing loud music.

Nestled on 2 acres with adjacent Lake House property and Barndominium, the Tiny House is a remodeled boat house with peaceful views. Note: Water levels vary on the private cove. ASK HOST BEFORE BOOKING if waterfront is important to you. Guests will have access to kayaks, SUP boards, gas grill and private deck. Friendly dogs are welcome with $50 pet fee. Sleeping: King foam mattress on upper loft, Full-size leather sleeper sofa, twin foam cot.

The space
Two-room tiny house is a converted boat house with small kitchen, bathroom in addition to living and small bedroom. Upper loft for storage or additional sleeping. I accept well-behaved dogs with pet fee of $50 and my two friendly dogs sometimes stay on the property.

Guests are welcome to access outdoor grill and outside decks including boat dock for fishing WHEN LAKE LEVEL IS HIGH. Kayaks available on first-come, first-serve basis. If water level is low you may need to carry boats to deeper water or take them to nearby parks. Mansfield Dam and Jessica Hollis Park are a 10-minute drive. Emerald Point Marina is close Just For Fun Watercraft offers boat rentals.

Other things to note
Sleeping is on either on a single foam cot, king foam mattress in upper loft or full-size leather sleeper sofa in living space. Basic cable TV with remote. Mini-split ac/heater with thermostat for comfort as well as window unit in upper loft.

Cute cozy 2 bedroom house walking distance to lake Travis and the Sundancer Grill. Perfect for a couples getaway or family weekend trip! Has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Lots to do around the area! Short drive to the Texas Hill Country where you can find winery's, hiking, and beautiful scenery. There is also plenty of shopping and restaurants near by at the Hill County Galleria! Only a 35 minute drive to Down Town Austin!

We also have an efficiency unit on the property that can be rented as well. It has another queen bed, bathroom, and a kitchenette. There are some shared common spaces outdoors if the other unit is rented. This includes the bbq pit, firepit, kayak, and parking.

It is not a lake front property the lake is a five minute walk from the house.
We provide towels for regular use but we DO NOT provide lake towels or dog towel. Please bring your own.

As you enter through the main floor, you'll find the inviting bedroom featuring a plush queen bed fitted with custom luxury hotel linens. You will love our bed on those long and hot Texas summer days as it is a reclining bed with a cooling mattress!! There's ample storage space for your clothes and belongings, and an additional smart TV for your entertainment. Ascend to the second floor to discover the heart of the home. The spacious living room is equipped with a smart TV and a sleeper sofa, complete with extra linens and bedding for added comfort. Adjacent to the living area is a well-appointed kitchenette, including a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and a dining area that seats four. Though there is no stove, the kitchenette is perfect for preparing light meals and enjoying your favorite beverages.

The second floor also features a full bathroom stocked with all essentials, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers, ensuring a spa-like experience. 5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. The space
We live in the home downstairs and guests have the entire upstairs to themselves whether it's one guest or more. There will not be an available reservation for others if spare rooms are left empty by your reservation. Room one has a private restroom. Room two has a private sink and vanity "Jack and Jill" style shared tub and toilet if room 3 is occupied by your party. There is also a second private sink and vanity accessible from room two and the upstairs private living room. The doors are lockable in the Jack and Jill Bathroom for added privacy. Bedrooms are also lockable. There is another vanity bathroom with a toilet downstairs in the common area if needed and is shared with the homeowners.

We live in the home so you'll see us in the downstairs common and living areas such as - Kitchen, Gym, Dining, Backyard, Pool, Front yard, Driveway, etc. We have rear stairs as well as front entry stairs.

During your stay
We are a busy family! We have several ventures we tend to do throughout the day. We are certainly available by phone/text/email/app and if you need anything we'll do our best to help your stay be pleasant.

Downstairs bathroom with shower in hall. 2 bedrooms with King beds upstairs: Loft-style master (with seating area and open wall to maximize views) has direct access to upstairs (master) bathroom with shower and tub, walk-in master closet, laundry room and extensive balcony; the large additional bedroom has a desk with 2 monitors. All 4 bedrooms and the living area have a TV.

The living area features comfortable recliners, TV and an additional seating area by the wood-burning fireplace.
The kitchen is open towards the dining area and has a new refrigerator and dishwasher.

The house is located on a large ~0.5 acre lot and has a large yard (not fenced in) with grass and plenty of space to enjoy. There is an outdoor kitchen with barbecues and small fridge. Large covered patio and extensive covered balcony upstairs (connected by a staircase both inside and outside).
