- "What a wonderfull place to get away gor the weekend especially if you like to stay and fish." - "Perfect place for a getaway! My 12 yr old and I spent most of our time outside by the fire pit and walking to the lake which is 4 mins away. My son loved looking for fossils in the back yard and added his snail to the collection on the shelf by the back door. The cabin has everything you need as far as small appliances and although we mostly grilled, there’s an air fryer, blender, kurig, toaster stove fridge and microwave. The A/C is slamming and the bed is very comfortable. As far as shopping etc, we got a Walmart delivery for the basics and firewood etc, but there are some convenience stores up the road. Eddie the host communicated with us the whole stay and was such a gracious host and let us have a late checkout as we were delayed for 5 hours on arrival. I cannot recommend this property enough and we will definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "

This cozy lake cottage is the perfect get away! Just steps away from the water with a rock beach where you can go for a swim or fish. Gorgeous sunset views from the back yard. The cottage includes a separate bedroom that has one king size bed and one queen size bed. There is also a daybed with two twin beds in the living room. The cottage sleeps a total of 6 people max. The living room has a large sofa, recliner, a rocking chair as well as the daybed and a 50 inch flat screen smart TV connected to the Internet We provide free LG channels and you can stream any apps you have with your password. There is also a 32 inch smart tv with DVD player and plenty of movies in the bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal, you just bring food and refreshments. There is a refrigerator, electric cook top and oven, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and blender. It has a breakfast bar that seats 4 and a dining room that seats 4. The bathroom includes a single sink and a stand up shower. Paper towels, Toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and dish washing soap provided. We are 10 minutes from downtown Whitney with local shops and dining. Our location is less than a 90 minute drive from DFW area, under an hour from Waco and no more than two hours from Austin. There is plenty to do in our area, including the Red Caboose Winery in Meridian, the Valley Mills Winery with beautiful Hill Country views. We are only 45 minutes from Magnolia Market in Waco. Goldie's Getaway consists of 2 bed 2 bath space with a cozy and comfortable vibe. The common space is the focal point of the house with large windows to look out to the stunning lake. Outside you can enjoy the hot tub, outdoor fireplace, grill or just relax on the bench swing. The backyard is fully fenced for pets to enjoy. Our pet fee is $40.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed- plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

In the other bedroom, there are two bunk beds, which means you can comfortably sleep up to four people. This setup also makes it a great spot for kids to have some fun.

Clean and comfortable cottage on the western shore of Lake Whitney in Laguna Park. Located in a peaceful neighborhood bya short 5-min walk to the lake, our cottage is perfect for solo detravelers, couples, or families. It’s a small house but by no means tiny! Our cottage is meant for you to unwind and relax. The space is quirky and so is the neighborhood!

The space:

The Blue Fox is 2br/2ba in approximately 700 sq/Ft. There is ample parking and a wrap around porch. Inside the kitchen and living room are one comfy eclectic space with everything you need. We’ve tried to think of everything from wine tools to wireless chargers. One bedroom is small with bunk beds. But these are like the bunks you had in college. Twin XL and solid oak they sleep adults comfortably. There is a Jack n Jill bathroom that connects to the master bedroom. The master has a luxurious hybrid queen mattress. Attached to the master is another full bathroom with a walk in shower and attached laundry.

We’ve outfitted this cabin with friends and family in mind so we hope you feel that way. We have high thread count cotton sheets & hotel quality towels.

Welcome to LAKE TIME! We have a Great place to be when you want to come to Lake Whitney. It is only a block from the new Whitney Ridge Marina!! This property has two bed rooms (Queen) & ( King) two full baths open floor concept where the living room flows to the kitchen and the rooms are on opposite ends of the house, and yes that is because it is a single wide trailer on the outside. Yes we did not want to loose that vibe so we kept the tail lights and the hitch on the front. The interior has been updated to look more like a home with vaulted ceilings and wood floors through out . We also have plenty of room for you to enjoy the out doors around the place with corn hole boards, outdoor living with a fire pit on one side, and a concrete covered patio with picnic table and a Blackstone griddle . Also have plenty of room for boat parking. We have added 3 RV spots as well, so if you have family members that want to join they can park right outside for additional charge.

Adorable cute cabin on the western shore of Lake Whitney in Laguna Park. Located in a peaceful neighborhood a short 5-min walk to the lake, our cabin is perfect for solo travelers or couples. This tiny home is meant for you to take a breather and reconnect.

The space

The Fox Kit Cabin is a 1br/1ba tiny home in approximately 400 sq/ft. A quiet solitude for a solo traveler or a cozy nest for a couple the cabin is very much like an extended stay hotel room in a free standing house. There is a covered porch at the entry where you can wake to fresh air and coffee. Inside the living area, dining area, and kitchenette are all one super functional space where you can relax in one of the comfy chairs and watch tv or nibble breakfast at the vintage cafe table. You won't be cooking three-course meals but the kitchenette has a small fridge/freezer, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and kitchen ware.

Down the shotgun hallway is the bedroom with a luxurious hybrid queen bed and plenty of space to store your clothes for the weekend or a week.

The best part is the bathroom! We built a walk-in tiled shower that we're jealous of! Pop the hotel quality towels in the dryer to toast them up...this tiny home has a full sized washer and dryer. Perfect for those summer swim adventure trips at the lake!

We've built and outfitted this cabin with friends and family in mind so we hope you feel that way. We use high quality linens and everything is washed after each guest. Please read the "Where You'll Be" section here, there's alot to do in our neighborhood!

You're welcome to the entire cabin. A max of two vehicles are allowed (a trailer is a vehicle). If you need space to park more please send us a message. We can probably accommodate you. The Kit Cabin is on the same property as our other rental, the Blue Fox Cottage. Guests in the cottage have access to the yard. Please respect their privacy (we ask them to respect yours too!).

The cabin is heated and cooled by two 9000btu mini split ac/heat pumps. They are super quiet and even though there are two, one is sufficient for the entire cabin. Mini-splits are very efficient keeping a steady temp so please set them where you would like. We have two smart plugs to turn on lights if you are arriving after dark. You're welcome to unplug these during your stay if you like.

We do not allow EV charging or crypto mining.

A slice of Heaven on Lake Whitney is situated on a tree filled lot just a short walk to Walling Bend Park, Lake Whitney, 15 minute drive from historical Clifton, and approximate 40 minute drive from Magnolia silos. Walk with ease to the water where you can partake in fishing, tubing, boating, swimming or just sitting and watching it all flow by. Birds and wildlife abound. We have built what we feel is the ultimate sanctuary to get away from it all. Breathe In, Breathe Out and let go!

The space
Located on beautiful Lake Whitney, this home has much to offer! It is a cozy relaxing retreat.

We have 2 lower level bedrooms, 1 upper bedroom with 2 twin beds and an office space in the loft; full size kitchen with stove, microwave, coffee maker, keurig and refrigerator with ice maker. Cookware, dishes, coffee and tea are available. All you have to bring is your food. There's even a charcoal grill next to the porch.

While the house is well designed and extremely nice, keep in mind that it is a cozy retreat. It will accommodate 6 people, however be aware with two twin beds, can be a bit tight for adults. That being said, many adults have slept there.

Smart TV with wireless connection allows you to access to your Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime Video (with your own device). It's a beautiful meditative setting. The side porch situated between huge trees which makes for a very relaxing and calming atmosphere. Enjoy the many species of birds, and the occasional deer as they walk by so close you can almost touch them. Our wifi extends over most of the property for you modern convenience types!

Enjoy the wildlife as you sip a nice cup of coffee, favorite wine or beverage on the porch.

We love and welcome dogs and they love interacting on our grounds. However, please take into consideration the size of house when booking with larger or multiple dogs. They will get restless inside. Please take them outside frequently and let them enjoy the setting as well. (See House Rules for our pet guest). There is no fenced yard. Be advised, for you and your pet’s enjoyment, this is rural lake area where some neighbors allow their pets to wander and wild animals occasionally walk through the yard.

Fishing, swimming, cliff diving and boating are all popular here. Bring your own boat or rent boats, kayaks, canoes or stand up paddle boards from Uncle Gus Marina, just a few miles down the road.

Whether a romantic getaway or family outing, we are sure that this home will delight the nature lover inside and rejuvenate your soul!

My greatest joy is having happy guest, please look over the photos before you book. Most come here for the meditative grounds and lake setting. My husband is afraid of spiders, so we spray often for bugs. However, this is home located in a rural area close to the lake, a few bugs, including spiders, may make an unwelcome appearance. Please be advised that we use gas heaters and window units to heat and cool the home. They work great to keep the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter, but we understand this might not be for everyone. If you are looking for home with central heat and air, or are bothered by being in a rural area with wildlife and an occasional wander pet dog, this is definitely not the place for you.

Relaxing home located at Walling Bend Park at Lake Whitney. Large tree filled yard with plenty of space to spread out and relax from the city life. Free access to beautiful Lake Whitney with boat ramps and a beach just a short distance away. Has a private fish cleaning station to easily clean all the fish you catch. If you are looking to “Hide-Away” this is the perfect place for you. We are pet friendly, but don’t have a fenced yard.

The space
Inside:
Open concept living room/kitchen refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, cooking pots and pans, dishes, cooking utilities and silverware. The home is heated and cooled by window units. If you have never stayed at a home with window units, they can be louder than central heat/air but they keep the home cool in the summer and cozy in the winter.

The home is located in a lake community with lots of trees, which attract bugs, so we spray often. However, a few bugs, including spiders, may make an unwelcome appearance.

TV includes Netflix
Internet service is available. It is strong enough to provide streaming services, but not ideal for performing work. This is truly a “Hide-Away” place to relax and leave work behind.

1st Bedroom – Queen bed with bedding and pillows.
2nd Bedroom – Two Full beds each with bedding and pillows.
Second bedroom are located upstairs in an open air living space along with the half bathroom. The upstairs outdoor balcony is a great place to enjoy the view and watching the deer from up high.

Outside:
An upper deck and a lower patio to choose from to enjoy the outdoors, both have sitting areas and tables. Enjoy the firepit on this nearly acre lot, while grilling your meals on the outdoor charcoal grill. There are plenty of deer that will stop to eat while walking through the yard. We offer an indoor fish cleaning station, with running water and electricity. There is plenty of room to park a boat or two.
We do allow pets but be advised that the yard isn’t fenced and there is wildlife in the area. If you bring your fur babies, you will want to keep them on a leash.

Other things to note
Pets are welcome for a fee of $25 and limited to 2 pets at a weight of no more than 50 pounds each. Pets that enjoy the indoors must be housebroken, and crated if left unattended. We also ask that guests clean up their pet waste outdoors and any excessive pet hair/messes indoors. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet and we will charge this fee to you separately.

Relax and enjoy yourself at Lake Whitney. While our location is not directly on the lake, a brief walk will lead you to the water's edge, where beach areas await. We are located in a friendly, beautiful neighborhood and walking to the lake is one of our favorite things to do. Close proximity to several marinas, restaurants, trails, golfing, wineries, wedding venues and Waco and Dallas. Boats are welcome, plenty of room.

The space
Enjoy the peaceful community at our lake home tucked into Laguna Park, only a short drive or 5 -minute walk to Lake Whitney.

With lots of nature and beauty everywhere this bungalow style home is on a small lot in a quiet, neighborhood beside the beautiful Lake Whitney. The house is one level with two bedrooms and was renovated in 2023. Both bedrooms have queen size beds with new mattresses. You can unplug in our screened in porch, on the back deck, go on a peaceful walk by the lake, grill out, go fishing, play games, read books or watch the Roku TV.

While you visit you must enjoy the lake, eat at some of the best local restaurants, visit all the sites in Waco (40 min away). There are trails, marinas, boat rentals and swimming access all close to our location. This area has Lake Whiney, hiking trails, wedding venues, marinas, Waco sites, local cities with fun downtown shopping and so much more.

We are approximately 15 minutes from Whitney, TX, 40 minutes from Waco, TX and 1.5 hours from Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. This house is around the corner from several boat ramps. We are 7 minutes from the Parson's castle wedding venue and also down the street from Whitney Ridge.

There is one small step to approach the front door. Check-in is easy with a digital smart lock.

Guest access
The entire home is included with the rental and has several parking spaces (driveway and street) and room to park a boat. Located in a community with other lake homes, the street is a semi-paved narrow drive.

Other things to note
This is a peaceful community and guests are expected to respect our home and neighbors. Keep music and noise to a respectful level. Parties are prohibited. Gatherings more than the number of guests booked for the reservation are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed.

Guests are REQUIRED to enter correct number of guests and pay for pets when booking.
