- "First, this location is a block off the quarter. Makes access to all French Quarter sites walkable. Jackson Square a little far but still doable. Security of building was first rate. Check in process was easy. Liked this location as it’s close enough to the action without being in the middle of it (noise, etc). Now, the unit itself. Plenty clean and orderly. Kitchen isn’t stocked with much. But has glasses, bowls, plates. Dining table was unstable and we were afraid to use it much. TV had streaming only, couldn’t watch The Masters as we couldn’t access cable type channels. No wash clothes in the bathroom…if you’re gonna have liquid soap, you need wash clothes. And the bed…highly recommend the mattress be changed. It was extremely hard, beyond firm. Had no cushion to it. You can certainly rely on this place for good location and generally who cares about a kitchen when you have all the great FQ food nearby; however, comfort is important. A few things made me drop this from a 4 to 3 rating, the bed being the main thing. "

We are STEPS FROM BOURBON ST situated in a very safe building with locked entry. Spacious apartment, Nola themed décor, fully outfitted, just bring groceries and beverages! COMFORTABLY sleeps (4) adults: king bed; queen sofa bed. Will accommodate (5) if you use the twin daybed.
THE APARTMENT HAS EVERYTHING you'll need for your stay: the usual appliances; dining area w/ seating for 6; living room with a queen size sofa bed, flat screen TV; bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV; high speed wireless internet access provided.
KITCHEN INCLUDES: dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer/ice maker, Keurig and a water cooler! We have an electric can opener, blender and a toaster as well. And a pizza pan!

In addition we are a short cab ride (or longer walk) to The Arena, The Convention Center and Caesar's Dome - although most folks choose to walk to the 'Super Dome' for games.
OUR GUESTS frequently stop back home during the day due to our central location, providing a convenient respite before heading back out!

- "Lovely place" - "I absolutely loved the location. Only a few blocks from Bourbon street and Jackson Square. Everything was within walking distance, museums, shops, food, etc. Things to know, we were on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator but it was well worth the view of the cathedral down the street and there really isn't any parking unless you want to pay which I was okay with. My only complaint would be that this seemed to be a small studio apartment on the listing but it is actually a small studio hotel room and only had a small mini fridge with no microwave. We did loved the later checkout time. Overall it was a little spendy to not get what I expected, but it was such an awesome little place to stay. "

The house is conveniently located central to all the attractions in New Orleans. A five-minute walk to downtown, 10-minute car ride to the French Quarter and walking distance to many local restaurants and shops, you can properly enjoy the city. We are located three blocks from the famous Saint Charles Streetcar which can take you all the way from Audubon Park & Zoo to the French Quarter.
We operate the adjacent house which is a “masculine” version of this one. Perfect if you are traveling with a larger group and want to book adjacent houses.
Getting Around:
The area is walkable to many restaurants, bars and shops, however, taxis and ride shares are also a great way to get around. This home is 2 blocks from the St. Charles historic trolley that can be a fun way of getting around all the way from Audubon Park to the other side of the French Quarter. Should you be traveling with a car, this house has two gated parking spaces and plenty of street parking around the city.

" - "Its a great location for tourist wanting a place close to jackson square. However, it would have been nice to be warned about parking. If you want parking close to this location you will have to pay for it using the premium parking services nearby. That was a very unexpected expense. We paid over 400 for parking for the duration of our stay just for peace of mind to have our car in a somewhat secure location. The host should disclose this information more cleary since not everyone is familiar with the french quarter lifestyle. Overall is was a good experience. The room was well kept & clean. Accommodations were minimal but acceptable. Be prepared to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to your room since the buildings elevator is out of service. "

- "This was a good spot that was within walking distance of the French quarter, although it's a 25-30 min walk so it's a little time consuming/tiring if you're doing that more than once/day. If you're going to the convention center this is the perfect spot! The interiors were really nice and clean, the only thing I would be mindful of is that the bathroom area is completely open to the room and the shower has a fully glass front so I would not stay here with anyone you're not super close with. Also the toilet door is frosted glass and doesn't go to the ceiling, so no mystery there either lol. All in all I really enjoyed our stay here! No issues."

I have been a long time VRBO customer and have really never had any problems to report except for this time. We were not allowed to control the temperature in our rooms. It was locked down from the building We arrived Friday evening and Friday sleeping was kind of uncomfortable. Saturday our temperature in our rooms in the evening was 95.we were told by customer service to open the windows to allow the rooms to cool off because it was cold outside in New Orleans. It was 70 degrees and a little bit humid. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like leaving windows open that have no screens on them as that is not a very safe option. We had to complain multiple times and they brought fans to our room to try to cool the rooms off without success really. It was only until our very last night when they turned the air conditioners on Roami Steve said they would give us a 20% off discount for two nights for a total of 90 off our bill for having four evenings of unbearable, warm and uncomfortable temperatures. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to stay at this place. I feel their compensation for the lack of temperature control was not and is not adequate. When you rent a VRBO, you should be able to control your own room temperature. You can do that in a hotel. You should be able to do it through Vrbo."

Picked the St. Charles Roami because it was the closest and most affordable place to the conference hotel, but I’m so glad I did! It was a whole apartment, which was fabulous, and a less than five minute walk to the Quarter. It was very clean and quiet. It would have been a great place to stay if our toddler had been with us, too—had a full fridge, bathtub, and washing machine. Check-in was a little unclear because I hadn’t booked directly through Roami, but we cleared up the confusion quickly upon arrival. Convenience store directly below was handy, but no on-site parking meant we had to hoof it several blocks with our stuff. Nbd, just be prepared!"

Centrally located Bohemian sanctuary found 2 blocks off Esplanade Ave. in the historic 7th ward. 15min walk to FQ, 25min walk to City Park/Jazzfest. 5-15mins by car to FQ, City Park, uptown or downtown. Close to the city's Blue Bike rental station for you to grab a bike to explore with! Immerse yourself in NOLA culture! Not an ADA accessible home.
The space
Historic Creole Cottage built using barge boards, renovated post Katrina and decorated with Bohemian flare. Guest bedroom has a firm memory foam super comfy double mattress, table, lounge chair and lots of peaceful energy in the air! I do have a wonderful, cuddly, adventurous kitten, Le Tigre (tiny Calico lady), that lives with me. She goes where she likes, so if you'd like to share your bedroom space with her, leave your door open. Otherwise, feel free to close your door. You are welcome to give her love and cuddles and she has a cat door so no worries if she slips outside. Please let her back inside if she wants to come in. She’s the only cat allowed in the house.

I'm happy to host you! I love meeting my guests and want to provide a quiet and peaceful home for you to recharge from the busy city. If you have questions please ask in person or via the app. I’ve provided a useful list of my favorites in the city (found in the framed sheet on your desk) as well as curated literature to inspire your exploration. I’ve also added a guidebook on the listing. Keys are available via lock box upon check-in and all instructions, plus photos, can be found by checking your reservation before you arrive. I am a busy lady so I'm in and out during the day and night. Come and go as you please as the city is 24 hours, just be mindful of noise between 10pm and 8am. Note: Not a party house, please be a quiet and respectful neighbor!

Other things to note
Uber, lyft, and taxis are all available. I recommend using maps to get an idea of distances from the house to your destination. This city is small so walking, or better yet, biking, is highly recommended. At night the safest thing to do is get a ride, bike or drive yourself, but stay sober if you do! Parking is available anywhere on the street for free.

The bedroom has very comfortable twin bed and is equipped with French provincial desk for computer or TV. The bathroom is brand new and equipped with everything.

Hello, I live in the home and I’m around most of the day in case you have questions. I totally respect your privacy if you just want to be quiet. I prefer someone who is a traveling nurse or is someone who works out of the home. I can give you a ride at times if I happen to be going somewhere and there’s also a space in my shed to store a bicycle or two :-)I also have a very mellow dog, midsize.
Other things to note
We live in New Orleans and believe it or not the water is scarce so we’re asking that you keep your shower or bath limited to 15 minutes. It’s also a very sporadic climate so it can be very very hot in the summer and very very cold in the winter. If you’re here during the winter, please bring lots of insular, longjohns and warm clothing, and then in the summer, you would need shorts and T-shirts. This is a conservationist household and the bills go up exorbitantly if there’s an overuse of water or electricity. Thank you.

The sprawling home allows you to live with others while it seems you live alone. You are tucked into a corner of the home with your own bath. The large family room to relax, dining room table for group study, if needed and outdoor eating area.
The house is cleaned and linens changed professionally on a weekly basis. A thorough cleaning is performed in between each guest.

There is covered parking available in the carport covered driveway. All doors are keypad access for extra security and no forgetting or losing keys.

I can be available to greet and answer questions. Otherwise, I am available by text, the fastest, followed by AirBnB message.

The house offers lots of convenient extras. Parking is free. A housekeeper comes weekly to clean and change linens. A professional chef delivers meals weekly for an extra fee. And you can access laundry service (wash and fold) for an additional fee.

You will have access to all common areas and the laundry room.
My home has been remodeled which includes new flooring and custom kitchen with all new appliances.
You may have full use of the kitchen. The stove has an air fryer and has a convection setting available also.
