Completely our style. We relaxed and and went swimming in the pool. It was nice and clean. We also walked down to the lake and it had a beach area that was serene and peaceful. We brought our two dogs, one is a small breed yorkie mix and one a chocolate lab. Our lab got his first swim in the lake and we all enjoyed it very much. It was extremely refreshing to take a break and have a Completely comfortable and relaxing get away! We will definitely be back for sure!!!! Its a must stay place for anyone wanting to take have a get away!!"

- "This was our second time staying here and we absolutely loved it. For the price per night, this place is a steal! The home is immaculate and more peaceful than any hotel in the area. Large windows let in a lot of sunlight. The rooms are styled beautifully and the beds are comfy. The water pressure in the master bathroom is fantastic. There are plenty of fresh clean towels and wash cloths. The kitchen is stocked well to cook meals, including a slow cooker, a magic bullet, and even an air fryer. The coffee and hot chocolate bar was also a sweet touch and we enjoyed sitting outside for sunrise in the morning. The living room has a few cozy throw blankets, which was awesome since I’m often cold. They even have board games for family game nights. My son’s favorite part is the snack bowl on the dining room table which is always full when we check in. Tina and Kevin are super kind and responsive hosts, and have set a high bar for our VRBO experience. I’m pretty sure we’re spoiled now. We loved this home!"

I am grateful for you being my guest! :-) Please remember that some of these rules are not necessarily because I am trying to be a stickler but because the city has certain laws in place or that I am keeping the neighbors in mind since this is close to other houses. And none of these rules would exist if at some point a guest had not done them. Most never do anything that is mentioned in the rules, but it happens sometimes, so just in case someone needs to see it, I placed it in the rules section.

Rules:
1) Be respectful of neighbors.
2) No parties
3) No smoking or vaping inside the house or within 25 feet of doors or windows.
4) No more than 5 people or vehicles on premises at any given time unless there is prior approval.
5) If something breaks, report it immediately
6) No more than 3 total dogs are allowed on property at any given time because the city does not allow it. No pit bull breeds because the city does not allow it.
7) Please do not mention short-term rental/Airbnb to neighbors because they may complain. Instead, you can say you are renting if needed since you are renting. this is because short-term rentals have become a nuisance to many people today. The neighbors do know that it is a short-term rental, but it may make them not feel good talking about it.
8) Do not park in front of any neighbors' homes. They may complain.
9) Do not use flushable wet wipes.
10) Can use street parking or driveway.
11) Keep pets on leash at all times when not inside of the house. The neighbors may complain.
12) Wash dishes if you use them, please. This includes the coffee pot. There is a $15 charge if the cleaner has to do them.
13) If the cleaner has to wait because guests are late checking out, then there is a $30 charge from 11:01 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. $60 once reaches 12:01 p.m. up until 1:00 p.m. and so on adding $30 each time. The guest should check out prior to checkout time unless prior approval is given.
- Do not lock the front bottom door knob. If locked, then the smart lock will not work, and guests will be locked out of the house.
- Do not use any neighbor's driveway as a turnaround.
- Make sure to copy and paste these rules to anyone you have as a guest. You are reasonable for anyone you have with you.

Summary:
Hippy Point is a magnificent lake beachfront that overlooks Toledo Bend Reservoir. This campsite sits on a small peninsula that offers phenomenal fishing, lake beaches, hiking, and of course camping! The site is hike in but its about a 0.25 mile hike from the parking lot next to the main beach. Amenities such as a comfort station, bathroom, and showers are located about 0.4 miles from the parking lot to the campsite. You can drive to them, or hike if your feeling up to it. The camp is a perfect get away for families, couples, or groups of friends trying to get involved with nature. This site particular is one of the best on Hippie Point for awesome views of the wooded lake islands across the way! Looking for washed up rocks on the beach at this site is super fun!

- Pack your own food, water, firewood, bedding, bug spray and flashlights
- There is no electricity, AC, or heater at your Tentrr site, pack accordingly
- Anything you pack in, you must pack out. This is "leave no trace" camping and all sites will be inspected for cleanliness and damages before the next camper
- All trash MUST be deposited in the designated trash receptacle that is labeled on the map.Please notes : If you do not follow this rule, you will be charged a cleaning fee of at least $50
- Pets are allowed. Please keep all pets on leashes(we recommend 6 ft), and DO NOT let your pets near or swim in any bodies of water.
- Please remember to respect and keep your distance from our wildlife in the park. Feeding any wildlife is prohibited. Be aware and watch all surrounding areas when going off trail.
