Next to walking track and community park. Plenty of parking, driveway runs from the street to the back property line. NOTE: Garage is Not a part of the rental. The house is off the main Blvd on a loop, so the traffic is light on our street, and non existent at night.
Just a few blocks away on St Charles Street you can find everything you need and want from Cajun food, live music, fast food, coffee shops, Ice cream shops. The Tex Mex restaurant La Caretta has live music out on the patio in the evenings, and brunch on Sundays. My elderly parents had no problems with the stairs the handrails are sturdy plus a walk in shower ❤️ the cleanliness of this camp was amazing and no harsh chemical smell. It was very large no one was cramped with it being a party of 8. I want to give props to the host we rent a couple of times a year and have had issues before but they were quick to respond and address all question even gave us info on the fishing. 10 out 10 recommend, we will be back."

- "We were so excited when we pulled up and this cottage is located on a historic plantation. Kids loved the upstairs where they had their own sides of the room and own televisions. The home was nice, clean and smelled very nice. Spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, clean linens, awesome property and it is so beautiful at night with the large oak trees light up. Make sure to bring marshmallows to feed the alligator that lives in the pond on-site. He is very calm and if you walk up on the deck, he will swim up to await his treats... not sure what the property owners call him but we named him Brutus. Don't worry I do not think he can climb out of the pond with ease."

3. The Brass bed in the guest bedroom is an antique bed and is quite high off the ground. You will need to use the step stool to get in and out of the bed. Children should not sleep in this bed. Please be mindful when getting in and out of the bed that your footing on the stool is secure.
4. Guests are responsible for putting things back where they belong, so that items do not get misplaced.
5. Please do not remove any items from the home. We take inventory of our items before and after each guest. Guests may be held responsible for missing items.

It is about a 45 minute drive to New Orleans and approximately an hour and a half drive to Lafayette, Louisiana. We are also located an hour from Port Fourchon, Louisiana. Whether you are visiting family and friends, enjoying one of the many festivals, or traveling for work we hope you come and stay a while. Smoking is also prohibited. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property. Ash trays are not provided. If a guest needs to smoke, please go for a walk. This is strictly enforced, and if there is a smell of smoke in the house an additional cleaning fee will be charged.

There is a zero tolerance rule for parties. If a party occurs guest will be asked to leave immediately.

If damages are made guest will be asked to pay for said damages.

Only the guest listed on reservation are allowed to sleep overnight at the home.
