We are on 6 acres. There is a trail that follows the creek and crosses several bridges. It is over half a mile long and has a scavenger hunt. Lots of trees, deer, birds, and squirrels to watch.

The Taylor's Whispering Pines is a log home in the piney woods of East Texas in the gated resort community of Holly Lake Ranch. The cabin is located on a secluded lot that is only two long blocks from the amenities of Holly Lake Ranch including the lake, park, courts, putt putt, hiking trail and much more.

This beautifully decorated rustic, yet modern, log cabin is perfect for families or couples that are looking for a romantic get-away. From the moment you enter the door, you will be encompassed with a feeling of welcome and relaxation.

This unique log cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. With 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and a pull out queen bed sofa and two memory foam rollaways stored in a closet, the cabin can sleep 9 comfortably. 9 guests is our maximum (we can not exceed 9) and there is parking for up to 5 cars.

The three spacious bedrooms offer smart televisions, and each has its own unique ensuite. One of the bedrooms is its own private suite located off the large covered back porch. The open concept kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to make your stay more enjoyable.

The living room is great for gathering or for enjoying the ambiance of the fireplace. In the mornings, you can enjoy your coffee on the back patio while wildlife watching. In the evenings, you can sit around the warmth of the firepit, or make s'mores with family and friends.

Just like Holly Lake Ranch, our cabin is for your families and friends to enjoy. Our cabin is not a “party house”; therefore, no loud gatherings, no events and no parties are allowed. Our custom log cabin and it’s upscale rustic decor & furniture is our personal weekend getaway home and we expect guests to take great care of it. Up to TWO dogs are welcomed to stay at the cabin but only if they are house trained (know to go outside) AND are NOT destructive. Dogs are NOT to be ever left alone in the cabin or a room unless they are in a crate.

For security, outside facing only cameras (Ring) are located on the outside of each exterior door of the cabin. There is also a Ring camera at the Barn door. They are not actively monitored.

This rustic Log Cabin is the perfect piney woods get away. If you are in the area with family to see the Tyler Rose Parade or for a weekend with friends in Canton this is the best place to be. We are deep enough in the woods your closest neighbors will be some people in the surrounding cabins and cows across the street but close enough for you to enjoy all our wonderful local attractions of Tyler and the surrounding areas. The Log Cabin is 20 min from down town Tyler, 2 miles from Tyler State Park, half a mile from the world renown Tiger Wild Life Refuge and 4 miles from I-20, right in between Dallas and Shreveport about a hour and a half each way. Our Log cabin is complete with wifi and walking trails, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and beautiful rustic home furnishings. We have a king bed in the loft and a queen bed down stairs in the bedroom while the fully furnished living room has a nice size flat screen TV (direct tv) with DVD player and a wood burning stove to keep you cozy. There is even a fire pit out back to enjoy the ambience of the Pines. It is the perfect Ritz in the woods and we would love to share our little piece of paradise with you.

The cabin itself sits on a flat, well kept, grassy field and the property around it has trees but the immediate area around the cabin is a clear field. If you’re into astronomy, this is far enough out of the light pollution of Dallas to give you great viewing on clear nights. The grassy field with no trees is perfect for higher angle viewing. Surrounding tree line on three sides is too high for objects remotely near the horizon but the skies overhead are clear and bright. Highly recommend this property for some couples down time. Enjoy."

We live on another part of our property and are available anytime during your stay. You may see us out walking, gardening or enjoying the Lake. We will respect your privacy during your stay! We are available by the message app anytime and will respond promptly! We do have smaller cottages/cabins on other parts of our property, you may see those guests out and about if you go exploring! The grounds, observation deck, and lake access are private to this home. It is waterfront and a popular fishing spot, so you will see boaters nearby fishing!
We also store our Personal boats on the Boat Dock, We may need to access them during your stay, we will notify you & walk around the outside to access if needed.

Lake Escape is located on a bluff overlooking the Lake, it is a STEEP Hill to get down to the house and you MUST follow the driveway and parking instructions to avoid getting stuck! 4 car maximum, any additional parking will need to be at the top of the hill!
We are also right under a Verizon Cell Tower and next to the City of Tyler Water intake Station, these 2 structures are visible from the house on either side, but do not obstruct the water views!

This luxury cottage is located on a high bluff overlooking the lake, which has amazing sunset views, however since it is natural shoreline there is no fence or railing on the edge and it’s a BIG DROP OFF to the lake. The lake below is rocky and shallow, this can be dangerous for toddlers or unsupervised children and we do not recommend young children. Any toddlers,children or even teens will need to be monitored at all times!! Private Hot Tub & Dock, with great lakefront access. Deepest part of the lake & great fishing spot.
We are in the woods and waterfront, we have chosen to maintain the natural beauty of the land and to help preserve the native Texas look. This allows for more fish and wildlife in the area and creates a Natural Texas Ecosystem. We have a variety of wildlife that visit regularly including Bald Eagles, deer, foxes, rabbits, all kinds of snakes, both venomous and non-venomous, raccoons, roadrunners, all types of texas birds and fish. We also have many insects on the grounds that are native to the woods, including ants, spiders,chiggers,and lakebugs (AKA as Mayflies) They are harmless, but will swarm around lights at night and will swarm inside if the doors are left open. PLEASE do not leave exterior lights on overnight & do not leave doors open. We have regularly scheduled pest control inside the home, but this will not prevent lake bugs from coming inside open doors at night. The spiders are attracted to the Lake bugs, and there will always be some spider webs on the porches and dock, this is normal and natural for Texas Lake life.

It is great for the adventurous and outdoor types who love amazing views, challenging landscapes and lake access! Please do not sit or climb on the stored boats in the lift.

The grounds, observation deck, and lake access are private to this home. It is waterfront and a popular fishing spot, so you will see boaters nearby fishing!
We store our personal boats on the Boat Dock and may occasionally need to access them. We will notify you and go around the back down to the Dock. Please Do not sit or climb on the boats in the stalls.

This luxury cottage is located on a high bluff overlooking the lake, which has amazing sunset views, however since it is natural shoreline there is no fence or railing on the edge and it’s a BIG DROP OFF to the lake. The lake below is rocky and shallow, this can be dangerous for toddlers or unsupervised children and we do not recommend young children. Any toddlers,children or even teens will need to be monitored at all times!!

We are in the woods and waterfront, we have chosen to maintain the natural beauty of the land and to help preserve the native Texas look. This allows for more fish and wildlife in the area and creates a Natural Texas Ecosystem. We have a variety of wildlife that visit regularly including Bald Eagles, deer, foxes, rabbits, all kinds of snakes, both venomous and non-venomous, raccoons, roadrunners, all types of texas birds and fish.
We also have many insects on the grounds that are native to the woods, including ants, spiders,chiggers,and lakebugs (AKA as Mayflies) They are harmless, but will swarm around lights at night and will swarm inside if the doors are left open. PLEASE do not leave exterior lights on overnight & do not leave doors open. We have regularly scheduled pest control inside the home, but this will not prevent lake bugs from coming inside open doors at night. The spiders are attracted to the Lake bugs, and there will always be some spider webs on the porches and dock, this is normal and natural for Texas Lake life.

Welcome to our little blue cabin on Lake Holbrook. This cabin is located behind our house steps from the lake. Enjoy the sunshine on the dock where you can swim, catch fish, or bring your boat to fish! Located 5 min from downtown Mineola, enjoy exploring the many shops in town, movie theater, train station, speakeasy hotel, great restaurants, and art studio! Near Emory TX, visit Twigs home good store, or Lindale has the Pink Pistol. Travel 34min to Canton on Canton Trade days.
The space
This private cabin remodeled in 2022, has a king bed, a chair, a table for 4, a full-size refrigerator, a drip coffeemaker, a sink, and a stocked kitchen. There is a private full bath. Towels and extra sheets for queen air mattresses are provided. This home can sleep 2 comfortably and 2 on the floor. Watch the sunset and sip your favorite drink as you relax at the end of the day on the private deck or walk out onto the dock. Grill a steak on the gas bbq pit.
There is plenty of space to work remotely with fast-speed WIFI reaching even out to the dock!
Guest access
Ample parking in front of the cabin for 4 cars or 3 cars and a boat. The boat ramp is located nearby for easy access to the lake. Dock is shared by the owner when the owner is in town.
Other things to note
NO parties! No smoking of any kind. All outside activities are to be shut down by 10 pm. NO OPEN FLAMES. Follow all laws. No pets.

The Cabin is perfect for romantic getaways. What makes it unique is the compact luxury/roughness. Come see to understand. It is ideal for couples, but can accommodate a small family. It is a small space for more than 2 adults. Due to the nature of our construction and owner having severe skin allergies we have a strict no pet policy! We do all the laundry and most of the cleaning ourselves and CANNOT accommodate animals of any kind. Please respect our health and do not ask for exceptions.
Cable TV and ground internet are not available here in the woods. We have Limited jet pack Wi-Fi available. Come to unplug and enjoy the Romance, Nature and Beautiful outdoors!

Trails to Lake Palestine, it is a natural shoreline, no beach area and swimming and fishing are at your own risk. We have a couple of natural ponds on the property and an Artesian Outdoor Cold Bath for a refreshing 70 degree cold water soak! Guests are welcome to explore the pond area, get in the cold water outdoor bath , but we ask that you do not fish from the ponds at this time, we are still developing this area!
The shared hot tub is for use by all of our adult guests.
Disc Golf Course on the property for all guests to enjoy. Somewhat difficult course and found on UDisc at lakecabinescape in Flint, TX . Bring your own Disc!

This is the Lake Palestine area. A 25,000 acre fishing & recreation lake with 121 shoreline miles. The cabins are near the Tyler lift station which you can hear on occasion. It is on the deeper part of the lake.
We are in the woods and near Lake Palestine within walking distance to a natural shoreline (no beach area). there is a Brookshires grocery and few fast foods about 2 miles away. City of Tyler is about a 20 minute drive with plenty of shopping, restaurants & entertainment. City of Tyler has plenty to do and see. There are several cute rural towns nearby with some local wineries and antique shopping to explore also!

The Cabin is in the woods and at the lake so you can expect bugs, poison Ivy, occasional snakes and other natural critters you find in the woods so please be aware and alert! We strive to protect the Natural Texas Ecosystem as much as possible and provide a safe Natural habitat for local wildlife to thrive and have a place to raise their young. Our property can be native and slightly overgrown during the growing seasons of the year. We also farm organically around the property. We try to be chemical free and only use pesticides for nuisance pests as needed. Spiders and lake bugs are all part of the Natural Texas Ecosystem at the Lake.

We’re excited to host you! Please take a moment to review our house rules to help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

About the Space:
Our cozy cabin is ideal for couples or small families. Due to its size and layout, we recommend our property for guests twenty two years and older.

Safety First:

Use caution when moving around the cabin, especially on stairs and the loft ladder.

The loft is steep and not safe for young children.

Be mindful while exploring the trails and lake areas, Use life vests when entering the lake access places. Swim & fish at your own risk.

Shared & Private Spaces:

The hot tub, trails, and lake areas are shared among the cabins. Three cabins share the central Hot Tub. All cabins share the Lake access, fishing spots. pond areas, cold Plunge and disc golf course. Please be courteous of other guests at all times.

The grill and fire pit are private to each cabin.

Do not place the grill on the porch, and never leave a fire unattended.

Guest Conduct:

No smoking, parties, or unregistered guests allowed, even for day use. Please ask if you are having visitors.

Each hot tub is for adults only.

Pet Policy:
Due to the nature of our construction and the owner's severe skin allergies, we cannot allow any animals—no exceptions. We personally handle most of the cleaning and laundry, so thank you for understanding and respecting this rule.

We live on another part of our property and are available anytime during your stay. You may see us out walking, gardening or enjoying the Lake. We will respect your privacy during your stay! We are available by the message app anytime and will respond promptly! We do have smaller cottages/cabins on other parts of our property, you may see those guests out and about if you go exploring! The grounds, observation deck, and lake access are private to this home. It is waterfront and a popular fishing spot, so you will see boaters nearby fishing! Tyler Texas is 15 minutes away!
We store our personal boats on the boat dock and occasionally we may need to access them. We will notify you ahead of time and would only be on the outside of the property.

Lake Escape is located on a bluff overlooking the Lake, it is a STEEP Hill to get down to the house and you MUST follow the driveway and parking instructions to avoid getting stuck!
2 car maximum.
We are also right under a Verizon Cell Tower and next to the City of Tyler Water intake Station, these 2 structures are visible from the house on either side, but do not obstruct the water views!

This luxury cottage is located on a high bluff overlooking the lake, which has amazing sunset views, however since it is natural shoreline there is no fence or railing on the edge and it’s a BIG DROP OFF to the lake. The lake below is rocky and shallow, this can be dangerous for toddlers or unsupervised children and we do not recommend young children. Any toddlers,children or even teens will need to be monitored at all times!! Private Hot Tub & Dock, with great lakefront access. Deepest part of the lake & great fishing spot.
We are in the woods and waterfront, we have chosen to maintain the natural beauty of the land and to help preserve the native Texas look. This allows for more fish and wildlife in the area and creates a Natural Texas Ecosystem. We have a variety of wildlife that visit regularly including Bald Eagles, deer, foxes, rabbits, all kinds of snakes, both venomous and non-venomous, raccoons, roadrunners, all types of texas birds and fish. We also have many insects on the grounds that are native to the woods, including ants, spiders,chiggers,and lakebugs (AKA as Mayflies) They are harmless, but will swarm around lights at night and will swarm inside if the doors are left open. PLEASE do not leave exterior lights on overnight & do not leave doors open. We have regularly scheduled pest control inside the home, but this will not prevent lake bugs from coming inside open doors at night. The spiders are attracted to the Lake bugs, and there will always be some spider webs on the porches and dock, this is normal and natural for Texas Lake life.
We are also located near a huge cell tower and the guy wires land on the property. Good thing is Verizon, T-Mobile & AT&T all have great service here:)
Also the city of Tyler water intake station is nearby and visible from the back of the property, It can be heard w/ a continuous AC type sound.
The driveway is a black top road and is very steep, please drive carefully! This home is on a hill and all the grounds are unlevel. We have a ramp for entry. The back deck has a huge staircase to get down to the fire pit, grill and lake areas. We do not recommend this home for anyone with any type of limited mobility or service animal requirements, there are too many possible hazards! It is great for the adventurous and outdoor types who love amazing views, challenging landscapes and lake access! Please do not sit or climb on the stored boats in the lift.
Indulge in our 4-person hot tub featuring a built-in Bluetooth speaker, all conveniently set on a covered porch with enchanting overhead string lights.
Large Private Dock is a great spot for fishing, swimming and watching the beautiful sunsets.
If you are planning to bring a boat, PLEASE CHECK WITH US AHEAD OF TIME. We store our personal boats in the boat slips. We may be able to offer a boat slip for an additional fee depending on boat specs & availability.
We do not have trailer parking or a boat launch. The best place is The Marina at the Villages, 5 mins away. They have a public launch, overnight slip rentals and a pull up grille and bar.
Not suitable for guests under the age of twenty two.
This home is multi-level and not suitable for anyone with any type of mobility issues. We cannot accomodate pets of any kind. Owner has skin allergies
Children must be monitored at all times!
This home is waterfront and on a steep cliff overlooking the lake. It is a natural shoreline without railings and a fall could lead to death.
There are many stairs and access [points to the lake, not suitable for young children.

LIVING ROOM:
✤ We have a sleeper sofa - the sofa in the living room, if you remove the pillows you can open it into a queen-size bed. The sofa bed has a waterproof protector, 3 sets of sheets and pillows and 2 blankets, and 2-bed covers (duvet only). Kindly also note that it is very easy to open the sleeper sofa, it's a little tricky to put it back - you must push the metal piece by the pillows before pushing the entire bed back in. Aside from that, our living room is equipped with chairs, side tables, Smart TV, Roku, lamps, and a ceiling fan.

KITCHEN:
✤ Our kitchen is stocked with all you should need to cook a typical meal. This also includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware, set of knives, dish towels, sponges or dishcloths, hand soap, salt and pepper, paper towel holder, dishwashing liquid and trash can & garbage bags.

BEDROOM:
✤ The bedroom includes a comfortable queen-sized bed with bed frame, nightstands, dressers, lamps, ceiling fan, Smart TV, Roku, trash can, waterproof protector, decoration, 3 sets of sheets and pillows, and 2 blankets and 2-bed covers (duvet only). We have also extra blankets and pillows inside the bedroom closet at the top shelve.

BATHROOM:
✤ Our bathroom provides a trash can to dispose of your garbage properly, a hairdryer, mirror, decoration, bathmat/rug, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand soap, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and 3 sets of towels, hand towels, and washcloths for each guest. We always make sure that the bathroom is sparkling clean. Please do not flush anything in the toilet except for toilet paper - the property is on a septic system.

GUEST ACCESS:
You will have an access to the entire 400 square feet of space and no other residents on the property. There are 3 stairs to climb to get to the front door of the guest house.

NEIGHBORHOOD:
Perfectly situated in the quiet Knollwood neighborhood, our home is within a 5-10 minutes drive from all of the main attractions South Tyler has to offer! Just ask and we'll share our favorite coffee shop along the way with you!

GETTING AROUND:
No public transportation nearby.

✤ The guesthouse is located in the backyard of our main house with its private backyard fully fenced and gated. This is a very quiet neighborhood please keep it that way!

✤ We only provide a starter pack of supplies. Guests with longer stays have to buy their own supplies for the remaining days.

PARKING:
✤ Please make sure to park on the street and walk to the gate located on the right side of the big house. Park at least 20ft from the stop sign.

We politely ask you to refrain from parking in the driveway as this is exclusively being rented by our main house guest. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

THERMOSTAT:
✤ There are 2 AC units in the guest house - one in the living room and one in the bedroom, each one has its own remote.

WASHER AND DRYER:
✤ It can be found in the utility room.

PACK N' PLAY:
✤ It is located in the washer and dryer room.

✤ It is located in the bedroom by the window

PETS/SERVICE ANIMALS:

Pet Policy (Dogs Only)
• No Cats – Due to allergy concerns.
• Pet Fee – $100 per dog per stay (non-refundable). For stays over 1 week: $100/week per dog.
• Limit – Max 50 lbs, non-aggressive breeds only, no history of aggression.
• Supervision – Pets/service animals must be supervised in the yard and crated when left alone.
• Behavior – No excessive barking or disturbances.
• Cleanliness – Clean up after pets indoors and outdoors. Use covers on furniture and mattress protectors.
• Disclosure Required – Let us know breed, number of pets, and weight when booking.
• Damage – Any damage must be reported and will be charged accordingly.

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT:
✤ Early Check-In: $25/hour. Late Check-Out:
• If requested by 8 PM the night before: $25/hour.
• If requested after 8 PM or day-of: $15 per 15 minutes.

RENTAL PARTY:
• Primary guest must be present (no third-party bookings).
• No unapproved guests allowed.
• Primary guest is responsible for all damages and ensuring the home is left as found.
• Violations may lead to eviction without refund.

DRUGS AND SMOKING:
✤ Absolutely no smoking or drug use of any kind inside the home. This includes tobacco, marijuana, e-cigs/vapes, hookahs, and all illegal substances.
Violations will result in loss of deposit and charges for smoke removal, which may include deep cleaning, repainting, or replacing affected items.

PARTIES:
✤ If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges.

EATING OR DRINKING:
✤ No eating or drinking in the bedrooms.

QUIET HOURS:
✤ Guests and their invitees will respect the neighborhood at all times.Please keep the noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.

CONSUMABLES:
✤ At times, we may leave unopened condiments or snacks left by previous guests. We do our best to ensure they’re not expired, but consumption is at your own discretion. The host is not responsible for these items.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:
✤ The deposit is refundable if:
1. No damage beyond normal wear and tear.
2. The primary guest stays at the property, and total guests match the reservation.
3. Quiet hours are respected (no police or neighbor complaints).
- The primary guest is responsible for any extra repair, cleaning, or replacement costs caused by themselves or their guests.

ALTERATION REQUEST POLICY:
✤ Guests must request changes (shortened stay or fewer guests) at least 1 week before check-in. Late requests will only receive 50% of the original refund amount.

TOWELS & LINENS:
✤ Please use towels and linens with care—avoid staining them with makeup, hair dye, tanning products, wine, or food. Use personal wipes for makeup removal. Excessive stains or damage may result in a replacement fee.

Roast s’mores over the pit or throw steaks on the grill. Please note that we are pet friendly but there is a $50 pet fee per stay for your fur babies.

Cora’s Cabins are 2 miles north of Tyler State Park, 20min from downtown Tyler, mid-way between Dallas and Shreveport on I-20. We are a mile from Tiger Creek Refuge, and 10 min from Miranda Lambert's hometown of Lindale. We are secluded, but we make sure you stay connected.

The down stairs for the Treehouse is called the Hollow. We only rent out the Hollow if the same guests that rent the Treehouse requests it. SO please note that there will not be any one in the Hollow unless you personally book it.

The space
The Casita at Tall Pine Cabins is a modern tiny house with a great patio and outdoor space with a fire pit. Located on 5 acres in the East Texas piney woods, there is ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and nature. We provide an outdoor griddle and there is also a camp style charcoal grill. Two picnic tables are provided. One near the firepit and Casita and one nestled in the pine trees for a true outdoor picnic in the woods.

The Casita has a small footprint with a nice flair. The house has pine shiplap walls with a nice size kitchen with cooktop, full dishwasher and a medium size refrigerator. No oven is available, but we provide a combination microwave, air-fryer and convection oven, along with the outdoor griddle. The nice size covered deck provides a wonderful opportunity to sit and enjoy the outdoors with an outdoor dinning table provided as well.

The bedroom features a queen bed in a cozy space with ceiling fan, ironing board, closet and stackable washer and dryer.

The full size bathroom provides towels, shower, starter paper products, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

The living room features a L shaped couch that makes into a full size bed for two and a pull out chair bed that will provide sleeping arrangements for a child or small adult.

Free Wifi is provided with a SMART TV where you can access local channels or access you favorite online TV apps.

Kitchen appliances include serving for up to 6 people, plates, bowls, cups, cookware, wine glasses, silverware, ice maker, ninja blender, coffee pot with both pods and ground coffee. A starter supply of coffee pods and ground coffee are provided.

Note that we also have a full-size camper on the property that will be available for rent in the near future.

Please note: Our property is rural and is located one mile from the Sabine river. It is not uncommon to experience wildlife in the area. The property just north of us is a pasture with cattle. Do not cross the fence to the adjacent property. You are in the woods! Watch out for poison ivy and briars and other vegetation.

We are 5 minutes from Hawkins where the Red Rooster is a popular hangout, 20 minutes to Gladewater - Antique Capital of Texas, 11 minutes to Big Sandy - if you might want to enjoy Circle M Crawfish. Other areas include just 25 minutes to Christus and UT hospitals in Tyler and 15 minutes to Lindale - you need to visit The Pink Pistol, the famous Miranda Lambert's one-of-a-kind boutique located in her hometown. Enjoy a float from the old-fashioned soda fountain or a glass of wine from the Red 55 Winery tasting room.

Renters may be charged if this policy is breeched and will be responsible for reasonable costs for rectification of any damage caused or for appropriate cleaning, fumigation, etc. required. SAFETY - Renters are fully responsible for the safety of themselves, their children and visitors, both inside and outside the home, at all times. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED on the property. Renters are responsible for ensuring any visitors comply with all rental policies.
Renters specifically accept all liability for use of the pond and fire pit on the property and understand the owners shall have no liability for any accidents, injuries or death that may result from the proper or improper use of said pond and fire pit.
Renters specifically accept all liability for use of tree swings or possible encounters (not common) with wildlife. Being a rural landscape provides a natural habitat for creatures such as spiders, snakes, possums, other insects, mice, lizards, deer and others. RENTERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFETY FOR THEMSELVES, THEIR CHILDREN AND GUESTS, IN AND AROUND THE PROPERTY!

FIRE PIT – Renters are responsible for fire pit safety. Owners may provide firewood in fall & winter, but availability depends on usage by guests at any given time. Renters need to bring their own fire starter or lighter fluid. Long-handled lighters and roasting forks for marshmallows or hotdogs are provided.

PET POLICIES - Your furry friends are part of your family and therefore welcome at Mineola "Mane" Stay Cabin. Up to 2 well-behaved, house-trained dogs under 50 lbs each are allowed with a $50 fee. NO CATS or other pets allowed at this time.
> Dogs are free to roam the property, but know that it IS NOT fenced. Renters are responsible for their pet’s safety at all times.
> Dogs ARE NOT ALLOWED on beds, couch or chairs. PLEASE ADHERE TO THIS!!! Dogs ARE NOT ALLOWED in pond, in tub/shower or in home wet.
> Dogs MUST be crated if left inside the home alone.
> Renters must collect and dispose of all shed pet hair on floors, carpets or deck before check-out. Renters credit card on file may be charged for excessive pet hair found during cleaning on furniture or any damage from stains or chewing.
> Renters must bring pet belongings needed for their stay including pet bed, pet bowls, pet towels, crate, dog toys, etc. Owner provides pet waste bags for clean-up in the yard.
> If pet has an accident in the home, renters are responsible for cleaning up after them immediately. Carpet spray, paper towels and a scrub brush are provided.
Property owner/s are not responsible for renters pet’s safety while on the premises. Renters are responsible for keeping an eye on their pets.

INDEMNIFICATION & HOLD HARMLESS - Renters agree to indemnify owners and owner’s agent and save owners and owner’s agent from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees in connection with the loss of life, personal injury and/or damage to the property, arising from or out of any occurrences in, upon, or about the premises, occasioned by an act or omission by owners, owner’s agent, guest or other occupants. In accordance with booking this property for rental, it is understood and agreed that owners and owner’s agent will not be liable for any damages or injury/death to guests or other occupants and their property from whatever cause arising from the occupancy of 704 Paluxy St. Glen Rose, Tx, both inside and outside the house, whether on the property or elsewhere.
ATTORNEY’S FEES AND COSTS – If your host employs an attorney/s to enforce any conditions of the rental agreement, you the renter shall be liable to your host for reasonable attorney’s fees and costs incurred by your host.
FALSIFIED BOOKINGS – If a renter books under false pretense, including, but not limited to, a falsified name, age or size of party, or number of pets, the renter may be subject to immediate eviction from the property and forfeiture of all amounts paid for rental.
HOST ACCESS – If requested, renters shall allow their host access to the vacation rental property during their stay. The owner/s shall only access the property in an emergency or situation that requires owner’s presence. The owner/s shall provide prior notification to guest through phone call, text or email before entering the property.
CLEANLINESS - Renters are expected to treat the rental property, both inside and out, with respect, keeping in mind that this is an individual’s home, not a hotel room. Even in cases where a cleaning fee is charged, guests are expected to leave the rental property in a clean, neat and orderly condition. Renters are not to move furniture.
MAINTENANCE – Renters must contact owner/s IMMEDIATELY with any unexpected maintenance issues. Owner/s will call and set up an appointment with a repairman asap, if needed. Renters should not flush feminine products, diapers, paper towels, wipes or excessive amounts of toilet paper down the toilets. Renters should not pour grease down the kitchen drain. It must be disposed of in the trash can.
TRASH – RENTERS MAY NOT MOVE LARGE TRASH RECEPTACLE NEAR THE STREET. Renters are responsible for taking all trash to the large receptacle BEFORE CHECK-OUT. DO NOT LEAVE FULL TRASH BAGS IN THE HOME OR ON THE FRONT PORCH OR BACK DECK. DO NOT LEAVE CIGARRETTE OR CIGAR BUTTS ON THE GROUND.

DAMAGE – Renters are responsible for reporting any damage incurred during their stay immediately for owners to assess, using text or email. Renter's credit card on file may be charged for any damage incurred to the property or the home’s contents by themselves, their children, their guests or their pets.

CANCELLATIONS, NO SHOWS, RESCHEDULING - Renters may cancel or request a cancellation of their reservation online through their traveler account with VRBO or AirBnB. A 100% refund is given with at least a 30 day notice. Renters will be refunded ½ with notice from 14 to 30 days. No refund is given between 14 days and the arrival date. No refund given for NO SHOWS. Renters may contact owners to reschedule reservation dates through their AirBnB traveler account.
NOISE - Although there are few neighbors, renters and their guests must maintain a reasonable noise level at all times out of respect. Quiet hours: 10:00pm – 8:00am Renters must conduct themselves appropriately while visiting Mineola "Mane" Stay Cabin.

Make a short drive into the forest to find our beautiful little black house sitting amongst lush green woods. The house sits at the end of a partially graveled driveway. The porch wraps two sides of the house and holds a two person suspended hammock off the deck. Read a book in the hammock or enjoy beverages in the two wooden adairondak chairs.

After you enter the home, using the keyless pad, you are in the spacious open, one room space that includes a queen size bed, loveseat, and a dining area with views and access to the gorgeous outdoors. After a successful career the Baileys retired to this quaint and quiet cabin. This is the getaway you have been looking for. This 1920's Sears, Roebuck and Company kit house cabin was completely remodeled in 2025; adding all the modern conveniences, while maintaining that old charm. Filled with treasures collected from traveling the world!

Enjoy the sunshine on the dock where you can swim, catch fish, or bring your boat to fish! Located 5 min from downtown Mineola, enjoy exploring the many shops in town, movie theater, train station, speakeasy hotel, great restaurants, and art studio! Near Emory TX, visit Twigs home good store, or Lindale has the Pink Pistol. Travel 34min to Canton on Canton Trade days.

The space
This private cabin remodeled in 2022, has a king bed, a love seat, a table for 4, a full-size refrigerator, a drip coffeemaker, a sink, and a stocked kitchen. There is a private full bath. Towels and extra sheets for queen air mattresses are provided. This home can sleep 2 comfortably and 2 on the floor. Watch the sunset and sip your favorite drink as you relax at the end of the day on the private deck or walk out onto the dock. Grill a steak on the gas bbq pit.
There is plenty of space to work remotely with fast-speed WIFI reaching even out to the dock!

IMPORTANT: The cabin features an open loft bedroom accessed by a ladder. This is not recommended for guests with mobility issues, small children, or anyone uncomfortable climbing ladders.

STRICT NO-PET POLICY: Due to the cabin’s construction and the owner’s severe skin allergies, no animals of any kind are allowed. We handle all laundry and most cleaning ourselves and cannot make exceptions. Please respect our health and do not ask for exceptions. There are many pet-friendly options around the lake.

There is no cable or wired internet. Limited jetpack Wi-Fi is provided, but streaming and TV ARE NOT GUARANTEED.

Nestled in the woods of east Texas on 31 acres, this barndo-cabin is perfect for anyone just wanting to experience the peace & spirit of the piney woods. This cabin is lined with fresh pine wood ceilings & walls we harvested right here from the local woods. The kitchen is equipped with 2 burner stove, microwave, fridge & marble countertops. You are going to get to enjoy 31 acres of heavily wooded forest with trails throughout. Each cabin has 360 sf of living space and a 400+ sf deck. Each cabin has its own water closet and your shower is in the middle of both cabins.

You will enter driveway directly from US Hwy 69. There are pine tree posts flanking the driveway. Please turn in and enjoy the wooded and curvy drive to the owners house and then past the house and to the left of the solar array you will pick up the driveway path to your retreat. Do not drive beyond the orange cones please. Access codes for Eagle 1 and Eagle 2 will be provided after your booking.

You are welcome to bring your boats and additional camping equipment. There is ABSOLUTELY NO FIREARM USE WHILE ON PROPERTY. Owner has chickens and you are welcome to interact with them while they are out foraging during the day. Please DO NOT ENTER THE BARN AREA.

There is an Exxon at the corner of I20 and SH 155, right after you exit I20 that sells firewood, and any Home Depot or Lowe's in the neighboring towns carry firewood.

Neighboring towns such as Lindale have many different restaurant options to choose from, but the town of Winona itself is very limited, so please plan accordingly.

We are dog-friendly! It is required that you indicate if you are bringing your pup when making the reservation, as we do charge a non-refundable pet fee.

Some cell phone carriers do not have good reception inside the cabin due to metal roof & trees.
Try turning on WiFi calling in your phone settings. This usually resolves any issues.

There are 2 dogs that may visit you. A black lab (Addi) . She’s very friendly. We live in the area & she likes to visit the cabin periodically.
There may be a second visitor too named “Russell”. He’s a medium size white dog that’s extremely friendly.

If you and your family see an open gate EXPLORE! it might be the way to ELK LAKE !!! ..which is a view you will never forget... go past elk lake down the steep pine needle covered hill and continue down and over 100 year old dam for another breathtaking lake level view... after crossing the dam that over 100 years ago mule wagons used daily, you will find what was the Williams family's past hayfield. it's about 20 acres..a great walking, jogging, dog walking, horse riding, let your kids run freely without correcting them! long blaze trail cut in the grass that follows the property line all the way around the hayfield and back to the dam and hill .

***St Francis Farm began from when Mrs Williams was young and was bringing ponies in to see people that were dying. Mrs Williams' first patient was a child that was dying because her parents smoked; Her parents didn't stop smoking and it made her die. At that moment Mrs Williams and her famous now over 40yr old pony Rio were asked what their program was called; Mrs Williams didn't have an answer she just was doing this because she saw it bring people joy she hadn't realized yet that she was "a program"......"St Francis Farm" she answered to the hospital staff. She didn't even know anything about St Francis other than always seeing statues of him with animals. Some years later after meeting Mr Williams he introduced her to the Catholic faith where she studied and learned that St Francis is who Mother, now saint Mother Teresa modeled her life after. He stayed with lepers as they died in the streets! and communicated with all species of animals!!! wow! what a story! Welcome to St Francis Farm!
