The large open kitchen with a dining area that seats 12 provide plenty of space to gather. This cabin is on 12 private acres on the same road as Kyle Field. Texas A&M University is about 18 minutes away and 8.6 miles from Santa's Wonderland!

You will have the cabin to yourself along with the hot tub. The cabin is barely visible from our driveway.

With its large private deck complete with an outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill, outdoor seating, dining table, and hot tub, the Hullaballoo Hideaway Cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway, especially if you love the outdoors! Inside, you'll find a full kitchen, 6 person dining room table, a master bedroom with a king bed, and an upstairs sleeping loft with two queens. The sofa in the living room adds additional space and has 3 full recliners. We also have an extra air mattress if needed.

Please know that we do not allow pets ($500 fine). This is a non-smoking place, anyone smoking inside the cabin will be issued a $500 fine. Smoking outside the cabin is allowed. There is a surveillance camera outside to ensure the safety and security of our property and guests. The camera only monitors our driveway to see who is coming and going.

We rarely allow events or parties. Please be sure that have ASKED PERMISSION beforehand; please contact us. If APPROVED a fee will be assessed. Guests will be required to return the property to the condition it was delivered.

Come visit the quiet country life with all the modern conveniences! This cozy 1BR/1BA cabin can sleep 4, but is best suited for 2 adults and 1-2 small children. The property has secured, gated access, new full-size appliances, mini split Heat/AC, Starlink Internet, wrap-around porch and tons of wildlife. The property is a half-mile from the St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary (hear their beautiful howls up to 3x/day), 15 mins from Renaissance Festival, 15 mins to Navasota and Montgomery.

Property:

The cabin sits on 18 fully-fenced wooded acres with a pond, running creek and abundant wildlife. You’ll regularly see ducks, woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, guinea hens, a blue heron we call "George," deer, squirrels, rabbits, armadillos, frogs, and even a family of beavers! The pond has 2 very large carp, 5 catfish and numerous perch that love to be hand fed. We’ll even provide you with some healthy food for them–just no fishing, please!

Cabin Details:

The cabin exterior features a wrap-around porch, metal roof and parking for 2 cars. Please note that there are three steps to enter the cabin. We recently added a fire pit area with chairs, outdoor lighting and a Weber grill (grill accessories included).

Inside, you’ll find a rustic pine interior and corrugated metal ceiling throughout. Brand new mini-split AC/Heat units in both the living room and bedroom were recently installed. High-speed internet/wifi is provided by Starlink (SpaceX) with speeds up to 50Mb bandwidth (unheard of speeds in the country!). There is also a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher.

The living area features a small sofa and chair, 4k TV, Roku (with guest access to enter your own Netflix/Hulu/Disney+/etc accounts) and surround sound. A fold-away, wall-mounted butcher block table is perfect as both a dining table or a dedicated desk/workspace.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range/oven and a full-size refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee with assorted coffees, an aluminum stove top espresso/coffee maker, french press, coffee grinder and an electric tea kettle. Creamer/sweetener provided. The kitchen also has everything you’ll need to bake, cook and serve a full meal (except the food!), including mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, utensils, knives, pots/pans, olive oil and salt/pepper and assorted spices. A complete set of coffee cups, plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses and silverware are also included.

The bedroom has a King size Casper mattress, hypoallergenic down-alternative comforter, 4 king size and 4 standard pillows, high-quality sheets and pillow cases (all with waterproof, allergen-free, protective encasements), a full-size closet, 2 end-tables with lamps and a wall-mounted TV with remote. If needed, we’ve got a Serta, self-inflating queen-size air mattress with sheets/blanket/pillows for the living room and a Pack N' Play portable crib with waterproof memory foam mattress and sheets. An iron, full-size ironing board and hotel-style safe are also provided.

The bathroom has an antique, cast-iron claw-foot tub with shower attachment with an assortment of high quality face, hand and bath towels. In case you forget something, we provide complimentary soaps, shampoos, conditioner, moisturizers, makeup remover towelettes, deodorants, toothpastes, mouthwash, toothbrushes and cotton swabs. A hair dryer and emergency first aid kit are also included.

Large parties are not acceptable. Amenities include a fully furnished kitchen, single bathroom, convertible queen-size sofa bed, and optional king blow-up mattress. We respectfully maintain a pet-free environment. Also, if you own a golf cart, please feel free to bring to ride the trails and dirt roads.
