We came in at night and the property was beautiful lit up with lights wrapped around the cabin and through the trees. It was an amazing first impression. The owners had left a wagon at the end of a short trail for us to unload our car. We loved the outside property and felt like we had lots of privacy, but were also comforted there was an HEB about 5 miles down the road. Upon enering the cabin we were impressed it looked exactly like the pictures...beautiful. The cabin was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The wifi worked great as did the satelite tv and the hot tub was clean, hot and ready for use. The kitchen has no stove, but the hotplate worked great. We cooked steaks on it the first night and eggs in the morning. We also used the grill for burgers the next evening. We loved the wood burning stove and kept it stoked every night. We also enjoyed sitting out on the rap around porch for our morning coffee. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back again! 5 Stars!"

The Retreat is the first floor of our home. We (Patrick and Suzanna) live on the second floor of the home and we always respect our guest's privacy.
Large picture windows surround your spacious Retreat for panoramic views of the Hill Country. As you sit on your private deck, relax and listen to the babbling fountain and enjoy the meticulously manicured grounds and the 10 mile views of the distant hills.

The suite has plenty of space. It has a separate living room, a bedroom with a firm king size bed, bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. The large living area has a comfortable sofa with a queen pull-out sofa-bed, electric fireplace, a 42-inch HD TV and a small refrigerator for extra cold storage.

The dinette table is perfectly situated to enjoy the scenic views from the crystal clear windows. The full kitchen includes oven/stove top, toaster, a small fridge, microwave, Keurig, drip coffee maker and all the dishes, pots and pans, utensils you should need during your stay are furnished.

- "Had no idea how perfect this place would be until we arrived! Stayed here for a sister weekend in August. It’s perfectly situated in Wimberley Square—walking distance to so many amazing shops, restaurants and bars. The property was super clean and the beds were so comfortable. There is a very nice outdoor area overlooking Cypress Creek with a fire pit area and tons of seating. If you’re looking for water it’s a very short drive to Cypress Falls swimming hole. It’s the perfect place for a girls trip! Will definitely be coming back in the fall or winter!"

- "This home was exactly what we were looking for. It's perfect for a weekend get away. The home was very clean with basic start up of supplies. The screened in porch is perfect for those late night chats without getting eaten up by mosquitoes. You're only 5 minutes from town with plenty to do. The hot tub was nice but only big enough for 2 maybe 3 people. You can fit 4 but not comfortably. The deer are amazing to watch when drinking coffee on the screened in porch. The only think we suggest is bring a fan for those staying in the green bedroom to help circulate the cool air into the bedroom. The house is cooled by 2 window units. One in the blue bedroom and the other in the living room area. They cool the place down fine but you can't close the doors to the green bedroom and bathroom or it gets super hot. We highly recommend staying here for a quit weekend getaway. Will definitely be going back."
