The Red Cloud Cabin (property i.d. #3926136) is adjacent to the host’s home. It features a full kitchen stocked w/ most needed utensils, condiments & coffee (since hosts are on site, they're happy to share anything you might need or have forgotten). The private back deck has a hot tub and overlooks the swimming hole on the creek. Red Cloud cabin offers a double bed, cozy dining for two in the kitchen, full bath with tub and shower combo, TV monitor with DVD, central air and heat, charcoal grill, picnic table and outdoor fire pit. A shaded deck is behind the cabin, for when you need to relax and decompress. When you're feeling social, the pavilion is a common space for all who come to Al's Hideaway! It's a fantastic-and well-appointed-gathering spot, with two gas grills (utensils, plates and cups provided), a large screen satellite TV, stereo system, tons of picnic tables, and an outdoor kitchen with fridge and ice maker. Last, but certainly not least, there's a huge swimming pool, complete with his and hers showers! Smokers are welcome, but please keep it outdoors.

The interior of the Cabin features contrasting light and dark woodwork, creating a warm and cozy living space. A window heat and A/C unit, along with a ceiling fan, keep the indoor environment just the way you like it. NOTE: The Yurts are not actually located on the River but only a short walk away on the same property. All guests will have direct access to the crystal-clear Medina River at the furthest end of the Yurts which is walking distance from all Yurts. The beautiful waters boast plenty of opportunities for swimming, kayaking, fishing and wildlife viewing! Kids and Adults alike will enjoy the steps that lead you directly into the Medina River Swimmin' Hole amongst all the stunning Cypress trees! Pull up a chair under the shade and relax as the sounds of nature ease your mind and spirit.

CHECK IN:
72 Hours prior to arrival the check in information will be sent with detailed information about the property, access, etc.
Guests will have a large private driveway with plenty of parking at each individual Yurt. We provide as much information as possible before arrival so check-in and check-out is a breeze.

PETS:
Dogs under 35 pounds are welcome at the property but must be on a leash when outside due to other guests on property. The pet fee is $50 per pet (max 2). Please note that we will contact you after booking to collect for the fee if not already paid for at the time of booking via the Listing Site. Barking dogs are not permitted.

NOTE: The Yurts are not actually located on the River but only a short walk away on the same property. All guests will have direct access to the crystal-clear Medina River at the furthest end of the Yurts which is walking distance from all Yurts. The beautiful waters boast plenty of opportunities for swimming, kayaking, fishing and wildlife viewing! Kids and Adults alike will enjoy the steps that lead you directly into the Medina River Swimmin' Hole amongst all the stunning Cypress trees! Pull up a chair under the shade and relax as the sounds of nature ease your mind and spirit.

72 Hours prior to arrival the check in information will be sent with detailed information about the property, access, etc.
Guests will have a large private driveway with plenty of parking at each individual Yurt. We provide as much information as possible before arrival so check-in and check-out is a breeze.

PETS:
Dogs under 35 pounds are welcome at the property but must be on a leash when outside due to other guests on property. The pet fee is $50 per pet (max 2). Please note that we will contact you after booking to collect for the fee if not already paid for at the time of booking via the Listing Site. Barking dogs are not permitted.

While offering a wonderful experience, the property does have nearby guests that may/may not be on-site during your stay. You'll love staying in this very private bed and breakfast Tiny House with its picturesque and especially serene view of the Texas hill country while kicking back on the spacious front deck. We are close by if you need us, but you will be given complete privacy to enjoy the relaxing and peaceful getaway you deserve.

Tiny is a custom built 325 sq. ft. tiny house with a pleasant, modern rustic vibe. It will sleep up to 4 adults with a queen bed in the semi private bedroom and a full size futon sleeper in the living room area. This futon is no ordinary futon! It was designed for overnight comfort with an 8 inch thick innerspring mattress that will comfortably accommodate 2 adults.

This house may be considered tiny, but the amenities are anything but. There is a standard size tub and shower in the bathroom and a full kitchen equipped with a gas top stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and plenty or counter-top space.

Our tiny home is a non traditional B&B where you will enjoy your coffee and breakfast in private without trying to make a specific serving time or mingling with other people when you are still wiping the sleep from your eyes. We will provide you with all of the basic ingredients necessary for you to prepare your own hot breakfast for two mornings. (usually bacon, farm fresh eggs from our coop, hash browns, sausage, gravy mix, and biscuits. We also provide granola bars, oatmeal, and pancake mix.

There is a large, 250 sq. ft. front deck right outside the french doors overlooking a beautiful valley view of the Texas hill country. During the day, take in the view from the bench seating and Adirondack chairs on the spacious deck or enjoy a hike on our private hiking trails. At night, enjoy the small fire pit with a custom built limestone bench for you to cozy up, toast up some smores, or pick the guitar under the stars.

Most guests choose our Tiny for its quiet, in-the-country vibe and prefer to "unplug". However, there is a flat screen TV in the living area and another one in the bedroom. There is no cable or satellite service so the TVs are for watching DVDs or connecting to your phone to watch Netflix or other online streaming options. There is a small library of DVDs in the cabin and a Redbox located nearby in Pipe Creek.

NOTE: The Yurts are not actually located on the River but only a short walk away on the same property. All guests will have direct access to the crystal-clear Medina River at the furthest end of the Yurts which is walking distance from all Yurts. The beautiful waters boast plenty of opportunities for swimming, kayaking, fishing and wildlife viewing! Kids and Adults alike will enjoy the steps that lead you directly into the Medina River Swimmin' Hole amongst all the stunning Cypress trees! Pull up a chair under the shade and relax as the sounds of nature ease your mind and spirit.
NOTE: The River water levels vary depending on rain/drought.

CHECK IN:
72 Hours prior to arrival the check in information will be sent with detailed information about the property, access, etc.
Guests will have a large private driveway with plenty of parking at each individual Yurt. We provide as much information as possible before arrival so check-in and check-out is a breeze.

PETS:
Dogs under 35 pounds are welcome at the property but must be on a leash when outside due to other guests on property. The pet fee is $50 per pet (max 2). Please note that we will contact you after booking to collect for the fee if not already paid for at the time of booking via the Listing Site. Barking dogs are not permitted.

NEIGHBORS/GUESTS:
While offering a wonderful experience, the property does have nearby guests that may/may not be on-site during your stay. We believe in being transparent about our surroundings to manage expectations. Occasionally, you may hear or see other guests as they are also enjoying their stay on property as well. But please note that while our property is not necessarily completely secluded from other Yurts/guests, we strive to maintain a peaceful environment, however it may not always be completely quiet. Woven into the storied fabric of Bandera and the Texas Hill Country, the Silver Spur Dance Hall is a place of legend and lore, and once the hottest spot for a Saturday night twirl on the dance floor.

Enjoy the comfort of this cozy Cottage for 2 with a queen size bed, separate bath with walk-in shower, and a fully equipped kitchen.

There are plenty of farm animals to pet and visit here, and the ranch is centrally located for day trips to a number of state parks and natural areas in the nearby neighborhood. Lucky Star Ranch Starlight cabin is a must for nature lovers, with its trees and Hill Country views! What's more, though, is the Hill Country State Natural Area is just three miles down the road; it's a wonderful place to hike, ride horseback, and admire wildlife. The Lost Maples State Natural Area and Garner State Park are both within an hour's drive from your cabin, as well!

It's hard to find a more animal-friendly vacation rental than Lucky Star Ranch Starlight cabin! The friendly goats, chickens, and ducks on the property love to be pet, and one of the "stars" is a dwarf Nigerian goat named Baby, who won first place in the Bandera 4th of July Pet Parade. There are horses you can pet, too, but not ride; however, boarding is available for your own horse. Check with us for details; a negative Coggins test is required. You can bring along a pet, as long as they get along with farm animals and are leashed on the property; limit one pet per cabin.

Amenities begin before you even enter your guest cabin! There's a shaded porch with rocking chairs for relaxing outside, perfect for morning coffee or a nightcap. Picnic tables and a charcoal grill are here for your favorite BBQ recipes, and a fire pit (firewood included) for s'mores and conversation. Laundry facilities are also available. Keep in mind outdoor extras and games are shared with two other cabins at Lucky Star. If you'd like to bring a larger group, the three cabins here sleep up to nine!

The space
Private space on 3 acres of grassland , woods and riverfront that is easily accessible by stairs. Tall trees and a meadow below the spacious deck offer views of river, sky, deer and birds. The 300 sq. ft. studio is cozy with comfortable queen size bed for two adults and a sofa bed for a child or youngster. Enjoy an outdoor shower, or an indoor one in the full bath if you prefer. Prepare meals in the cabin kitchen, equipped with full sink, two- burner electric stove, refrigerator and toaster oven, pots, pans, comal, tableware. Charcoal grill/smoker on the upper deck. Please contact us about bringing a dog.

The cabin is situated well above the flood line for Medina River and dam.

The site is on three acres bordering the Medina River. Cabin and parking are on street level. The deck and stairs lead to the meadow and river levels where you can wade, hike, birdwatch and enjoy the peaceful sounds and sights of nature. Nextdoor to the west is our second Airbnb, a 400 sq. ft, cabin with a porch, so if you have a larger group, rent both.

Access to the cabin's two wooden doors is by combination lock. The lock on glass door to the cabin was damaged during installation and can only be locked from inside with security bar in the door track.

The RV site adjacent is available separately on Airbnb. The name is Tiny Cabin RV Site. It is equipped with electricity, water and septic hook up. The neighboring cabin with full bath and kitchen can also be rented separately and sleeps three.

Both cabins and RV site can be rented, if desired, by booking each separately for the same time period. The RV site will not be rented to other guests, if the Tiny Cabin (this listing) is rented.

The space
Charming tiny house cabin with full bedroom, kitchen with Reverse Osmosis drinking water and bathroom with large shower (real plumbing!) on the river. Large deck doubles the living space and overlooks the magical treetops, cliffs and river. This is a great quiet retreat for recharging your life and love. Wooden stairs to the riverbed level.

Kitchen is furnished with a full size refrigerator, electric stove, pots, pans and utensils -- We supply French press and drip coffee maker. WiFi and streaming TV. MiniSplit AC/Heat cools and heats the cabin. Bring charcoal to grill out doors, and if burn ban is not in effect, build a campfire.

River levels are slowly rising due to recent rainbow to date, too low for kayaking. There are stairs to the cabin and the terrain is rocky with a gentle slope with more stairs. Not suitable for those with mobility impairments or children under 7 years. Our cabin is situated well above the Medina River flood line.

Like most riverfront property, there are neighbors who either live full time or vacation on weekends on either side of the property. Please respect their privacy.

If you are able, we ask that you recycle paper, plastic, tin and aluminum to transport back home with you for recycling. Bandera County has ended its recycling program.

Please help us do our best to keep the river clean! If you want our unending gratitude and have a truck, double-bag and take your trash with you! We have trash transfer station access only 1 morning a week.

Water in the cabin is potable, but taste is improved with our Britta filter pitcher. The freezer is stocked with ice trays, but no ice maker. Bringing a bag of ice may be helpful, especially in warm weather.

We provide bed linens and blankets for the futon sofa in living room and the queen bed in the bedroom. If you need more linens you will need to bring them with you. Please bring beach towels if you plan to use towels outdoors.

Guests will have entire driveway for parking, the entire cabin and the two lakefront lots to explore and enjoy. Please respect the privacy and peace of the properties adjacent belonging to our two neighbors.

The Tree Top Cabin on the Medina River was built in 2014. We fell in love with the special touches such as the handmade counter and other design features that make it cozy and unique. Ideal for two adults or one couple and 1-2 kids. The futon couch is not suitable for 2 adults, but if you wish for 2 couples to share this small space, bring your own inflatable mattress.

We do not have a landline phone connection. Cell reception is adequate but not robust. We have broadband WiFi for the Internet and streaming Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon and Hulu, and have a Blu Ray player and a small DVD collection to share.

Note: We have installed a water filter for drinking water. Additionally, the water heater is tiny cabin size. We recommend you allow an hour or so between dish washing and hot showers.
