The very charming cabin can sleep 3. There is a very comfortable queen bed, and a single sleeper sofa with a memory foam topper. Furnished in rustic decor, it boasts a beautiful large stained glass window emitting soft light into the room.

The location is far enough away to be away from everything and close enough to Leakey to quickly get to town for your dining and activities! Upon arrival at the cabin, we found it secluded even though it’s next door to the host. You can tell she took great effort to provide privacy for her guests. Walking into the cabin we found a personal note and a bottle of wine which was such a nice touch! Chris provided drinking water and gave us a run down of the cabin and it’s amenities. If you’re looking to relax, this cabin is quiet except for the sound of running water from the creek below the bluff. We saw deer, turkeys, foxes and tons of birds including Cardinals everywhere and hummingbirds who came right up to the palapa while we lounged around and watched! Chris had great recommendations for the local eateries and activities and check in on us several times during our stay! Great experience, would definitely stay again!"

Solomon's Den offers a romantic escape in the Lost Maples Region - the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It is designed for couples who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and find time to reconnect and relax. Inside the cabin you will find a wood burning fireplace as well as central air/heat, living area, king size bed with a unique headboard made from reclaimed wood from the property, kitchenette, dining table and double whirlpool bathtub.

The "bedroom" is located up on a two step platform area which overlooks the living area and fireplace. A few feet to the right of the bed, the double whirlpool bathtub is sunken into the floor (no shower). The kitchenette offers a full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans and dishes. Coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, trash bags, paper towels and dish soap are provided.

We do provide linens and towels. The towels are for bathing only and should not be taken off of the property or used outside.

Solomon's Den, and four other cabins are located on 6 acres between Vanderpool and Leakey on RR 337, one of Texas' most scenic highways. This area is known for it's two lane country roads that meander between steep sided canyons. It has been referred to as the "Swiss Alps of Texas" and is popular with motorcyclists and bicyclists. The cabin is located on a county maintained road, The Lower Sabinal River Road, right off of 337. It is a perfect road for taking a leisurely walk and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery and possible wildlife viewing.

A complimentary bottle of wine is included and guest robes are provided for use during your stay.

There is a camp fire ring available that can be used when the area is not under a county burn ban. Firewood for the outdoor fire pit can be purchased from the Lost Maples Country Store, 4 miles up the road. Also available on the grounds is a BBQ grill (bring your own charcoal), picnic table, outdoor chairs and a hammock.

Solomon's Den is conveniently located to Lost Maples State Natural Area, Garner State Park, the Frio River, as well as the cities of Vanderpool, Utopia, Leakey, Bandera and Kerrville.

Lost Maples State Natural Area is about 7 miles from the cabin. Garner State Park is about 18 miles, while Leakey is about 10 miles. There are many places to begin a floating trip along the Frio River, all of which would be within 45 miles of the cabin, some closer than others. Utopia is a small town where you will find a few shops, restaurants and a 9 hole golf course. The movie, "Seven Days in Utopia" was filmed there. It is about 15 miles from the cabin.

Bandera is known as the Cowboy Capital of the World and offers various rodeos and "cowboy activities" throughout the year, as well as shopping, restaurants and bars. It is about 45 miles from the cabin.

Kerrville is a little over 45 miles from the cabin and is the nearest city where you will find an HEB, Wal-Mart, Specs etc.

The cabin is located on the second story of a two story building, although it is still very private as the area below is not a rental space and only used for storage. Being on the second story affords excellent views of the mountains.

Located on the Heart of Texas Wildlife Trail, Firefly offers good birding and wildlife viewing opportunities year round. This Frio River Bank Log Cabin has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths and sleeps up to 12 guests. Welcome to the Treehouse! This cabin is surrounded by trees and it's second story location provides excellent views of the mountains. Although it is actually not a real tree house, but you'll feel like you're in one with all the comforts of home.

Located right off of FM337 between Vanderpool and Leakey it is the perfect location to begin your day. Quiet mornings on the balcony with a cup of coffee, birds coming and going to "dine" at the feeder, the sun rising over the mountains, you know it's going to be a good day to have a good day!

Many properties are near Lost Maples State Natural Area (SNA), although few are as close as The Treehouse. Only 7 miles from Lost Maples SNA, the Treehouse is in close proximity to all activities in the Lost Maples Region, Sabinal Canyon and Frio Canyon areas. The Treehouse is part of a 6 acre property that includes 4 other cabins that are nestled in a valley between Vanderpool and Leakey. Located right off of FM 337 you'll be positioned to branch out to a multitude of local activities such as tubing the Frio River, golfing at the Utopia Golf Course where Robert Duvall filmed "Seven Days in Utopia", hiking at Garner State Park and Lost Maples SNA and more. The Treehouse's interior offers hand-hewn beams, cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, wood-burning fireplaces, central air/heat, TV with VCR and/or DVD, video library, and an informal dining area with a fully equipped kitchenette (in-cabin coffee setup, microwave, full size refrigerator and stove, pots, pans and dishes).

Located on the Heart of Texas Wildlife Trail, The Treehouse offers good birding and wildlife viewing opportunities year round. The area is home to over 200 species of birds including the Golden-cheeked Warbler, Painted Bunting, Tufted Titmouse, Summer Tanager, Vermillion Flycatcher, Black-chinned Hummingbird and Black-capped Vireo.

In the nearby town of Utopia you can play golf on the 9 hole course where the movie 'Seven Days in Utopia' was filmed starring Robert Duvall, or enjoy an enchanted lunch or dinner on Saturdays at The Laurel Tree Guest Table Restaurant. The Laurel Tree is owned by Le Cordon Bleu Paris graduate Laurel Waters and offers a menu that changes weekly consisting of the freshest, seasonal ingredients. Even with its remote and private location, Hill Country towns like Leakey and Vanderpool are very close by. The Lodge is perfect for your next large gathering!

The amenities start even before you step inside! There's a long, shaded porch along the front of the lodge, complete with patio furniture; an outdoor patio with fire pit, BBQ pit with smoker. Nearby there's an outdoor pool-side cooking station; a pool and hot tub; and well-stocked lakes to fish in. Canoes and kayaks are provided for guest enjoyment as well! The grounds here are fantastic for hiking, wildlife-watching, and stargazing!

The interior here is absolutely huge, with a living area (complete with fireplace), dining area, and enormous and fully-furnished kitchen-with all the cooking and serving utensils you'll need. Entertain yourself with the pool table, Smart TV with DVD player and Wifi is available for you to use your own Roku or Firestick. Four bedrooms comfortably accommodate up to 20 people and 2 more can sleep on the comfortable sleeper sofa and also have a full air mattress. And there are two full bathrooms, one with a shower tub combo and another with 2 stall showers. All bedroom and bathroom linens are provided, and the entire space is climate-controlled with central heating and air conditioning.

The minimum age requirement for renting the property is 25.
The house accommodates up to 25 guests with sleeping accommodation for 20 guests in beds, (additional air mattresses may be required). . The base rate covers 6 guests, and each additional guest is $50 per person, per day. We use a flexible pricing model, which means smaller groups pay less, making the home more affordable while still allowing larger groups to enjoy the space.
Well-behaved/leashed pets are accommodated at a rate of $50 per day (limit of 2 pets, subject to approval).
Strict pet policies including leashing outside, kenneling when unattended indoors, prohibition from staying outdoors at night, and restriction from beds or furniture. Violations may result in extra cleaning fees or the removal of the pet(s) from the property.
Day guests beyond the standard occupancy add a fee of $25 per day.

The space
The Little Blue Cabin is approximately 1/2 mile from the Frio River. We have our own river access that is shared with another nearby cabin where you can park your vehicle and enjoy a nice dip in the river. There is also a river crossing where you can park near and walk to the river.

The whole cabin is available to guests along with the nearby outside area to hike around or even pitch some tents ⛺️.

Come enjoy the peace and quiet of the Texas Hill Country, while relaxing in the cool waters of the Dry Frio River. This cabin is nestled under a canopy of live oak trees with just short walk to the river. The Dry Frio River gets its name from the fact that the spring fed river meanders under the rocks at times, giving the appearance of a dry creek bed. This means the water is always cold, even in the hot summer months!

The space
The air-conditioned cabin has a simple, rustic feeling. The family room has high ceilings and a comfy sectional sofa. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and plenty of cookware. The cozy master bedroom has a stone fireplace, a queen-size bed and direct access to the spacious bathroom with a lovely claw foot bathtub/shower. There is loft area with two full-size beds and a beautiful view of the huge live oak trees.
Outside there is ample seating on the covered porch and around the fire-pit. A charcoal grill is available for those outdoor cook outs.

The 29 foot camper has full kitchen, bedroom with a queen bed, sofa sleeper, dinette, and back sleeping area and full bath and a bunk bed. The Pavilion is set for comfortable outdoor living and dining with a bar, grill and griddle. This is glamorous camping in style.

Stargazer (Cabin #7) is nestled on 60+ acres of hill county. ````The Crystal Clear Frio river is just 75 yards down a short trial from this cabin. This river access is private to you and one other cabin there on the property.
And, Just 1 mile from both of our other two privately owned crystal-clear Frio River accesses. We are also located 1.5 miles north of the entrance to Garner State Park.

Thanks to the recent rains, the river is flowing like a dream — best floating we’ve had in 10 years! Grab your tubes, bring the family, and come make memories on the water. Whether you're floating, splashing, or just relaxing in the sun, there’s no better time to enjoy it!

Just a short walk down the trail to the beautiful Frio River. In the open area is a Picinic table for you to hag out at as well.
This cabin is also just one mile from our other two river spots, you have full access to either place.
Shallow Rocky Bank: Ideal for relaxation, this spot invites you to settle into chairs under canopies, listen to music, and soak in the tranquil surroundings. Families with little ones will appreciate the gentle waters.
Deep Swimming Hole: If you’re up for more adventure, head to the deep swimming hole. The water levels range from 3 to 12 feet, making it ideal for tubing, kayaking, or simply floating and chilling.

As you drive up to the cabin, you can't help but to notice how the century-old oaks provide a shady retreat. Barbecue, gather around a campfire, or simply unwind. The spacious front porch is equally inviting—sip morning coffee or enjoy a fireside glass of wine.

But the real magic happens after dark. Astronomy enthusiasts flock here from across the U.S. to marvel at the pristine night sky. With minimal light pollution, the stars put on a spectacular show.

Bird watching at the ranch is exceptional. Every year bird lovers travel to the ranch to spot some of the most rare breeds including the golden cheeked warbler and the black capped vireo.

Take a walk on our nature trails where abundant wildlife can be seen or stroll down to the open field and watch the fireflies come out at night. Hundreds of deer, turkey and many other species of wildlife can be seen throughout the day from the front porch.

PETS - This is an ideal location for pets!

Fee: Pet fee is $50 per stay for ONE PET. An ADDITIONAL FEE of $20 per pet per night will be requested for each additional pet, maximum of 2 pets. 2 pets may require a damage deposit. Please contact our office for more information. Pets will be checked at check in.

The space
The cabin is charming. One room including vaulted ceilings, a crystal chandelier, and an antique iron queen size bed with luxury linens. The sitting area features two leather recliners for relaxing, reading or watching the wall mounted TV with built in DVD player. There is wifi and internet access. The kitchen: refrigerator /freezer, electric range, island with two bar stools, antique sink, ceiling fan, wood burning stove and charm all day long. Full bathroom off the main room. Has antique tin ceiling tiles, antique beadboard granite top sink, tile shower and a small closet. The outdoor, open air bathroom is accessed from the side deck. Has toilet, fabulous old concrete sink from Juarez, Mexico and a shower stall. The wraparound deck has two deck chairs, a porch swing, a wicker setee and an outdoor dining table. There is a hibachi for outdoor grilling (charcoal and lighter fluid provided). Newly added is a propane fire.

Guest access
The cabin is roughly a half mile from our main ranch house. It has a separate gated entrance and is about a quarter mile from the gate, up a gravel road. The road gets a little rougher as you near the cabin. Low clearance, luxury vehicles discouraged!

Up to 2 dogs are allowed for additional fees. No cats allowed. Guests are required to clean up after pets.
There is another cabin nearby but it is not available for rental at this time.

There is a charcoal BBQ grill (BYOC), camp fire ring, picnic table and outdoor dining table available for you to enjoy as you soak up nature in one of the most beautiful, and peaceful settings in Texas. AT&T and T-Mobile service can be found right up the road in Vanderpool and throughout the area. While you are at the cabins it's "you" time. Solomon's Den offers a romantic escape in the Lost Maples Region - the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It is designed for couples who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and find time to reconnect and relax. No cell service, or television reception affords you the opportunity to unplug and just be! Should you need to be in touch AT&T and T Mobile cell service are available intermittently throughout the area, and WiFi is available at the cabin . Inside you will find a wood burning fireplace as well as central air/heat, living area, king size bed with a unique headboard made from reclaimed wood from the property, kitchenette, dining table and double whirlpool bathtub. The "bedroom" is located up on a two step platform area which overlooks the living area and fireplace. A few feet to the right of the bed, the double whirlpool bathtub is sunken into the floor. The kitchenette offers a full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans and dishes. Coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, trash bags, paper towels and dish soap are provided.

We do provide linens and towels. The towels are for bathing only and should not be taken to the river or used outside. Please bring your own river towels or rags.

Let's get to the river! The property has its own direct access to the river, which flows steadily all year long. (This access point isn't ideal for folks with mobility issues, but there are three river crossings close by which are). Bring your kayaks, tubes, and other water toys in order to make the most of your private access!

Outside, you'll find plenty of social space, with a wraparound patio, deck, and a screened-in gazebo, all with plenty of outdoor furniture and shade. For snacks and cookouts, there's a charcoal grill, and even a convenient outdoor sink! The water at the ranch is filtered by a whole-home conditioning system.

Plentiful windows allow natural light to fill the interior at Roadrunner Canyon Ranch, and the home is kept comfy with central air, heat, and ceiling fans. The living area and master bedroom have Roku-ready TVs. Books and games are provided for the kids, as well as a play area with a rock-climbing wall, large slide, and loft-style hideout, with Wifi throughout all rooms. The space
Welcome to our 5 acres Aframe home which leads you up a hill with an amazing view, which makes you feel like you're in heaven
This Luxury cabin has everything you DREAMED of and we are only about a 7 minute drive to the nearest acess to the Frio River.
The living area feels cozy, yet spacious with a high ceiling that shows off beautiful Pine Wood beam with a Country Living Chandelier. The A-frames giant windows overlooking the deck and the hills makes you bring the outside beauty in. It features the comfiest sofa, dining area, and our custom Pine Wood continues with the decor into our fully stocked kitchen.

The large downstairs bedroom features a queen bed, a beautiful stoned electric fireplace, a stylish reading egg chair, luggage bench, and of course a 55' Smart TV. The main bathroom is downstairs just beside the bedroom and features a luxury walk-in shower, with double vanity. Across from it you have a washer and dryer for your convenience. Then you get to go up the most beautiful custom-made stairs that continues the Pine wood with a natural wood stain that leads you to the open loft area. We offer a sofa bed, tons of board games for the kiddos and of course a 60'' Smart TV. The first bedroom upstairs has 4 twin size custom bunk beds which also gives you an amazing view out of this bedroom window. The second bedroom upstairs features 2 full size custom beds with a stylish A-frame shiplap accent wall and of course the beaty of a custom beam in the high ceiling. Second bathroom is also a walk-in shower with a modern style decor.
Just outside the living room doors is the large deck with a modern outdoor seating couch, a gas fireplace, and a gas grill.

While this cabin makes an ideal spot for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, wedding night, anniversary, or spiritual get aways, it's also wonderful for family and friends. Other friendly amenities included is a swings down the hill with a couple of Egg Chairs and Hammick swings, with some lounge chairs by a wood fireplace to make some smores.
We are a 5 minute drive from the river, 10 minutes from Happy Hollow Drop off and 12 minutes from Garner State Park.

ATTENTION: As you ascend the hill, stick to the long asphalt road without pause. It's quite a climb, so keep that momentum going and take a wide right turn at the summit to reach Dreamers Ranch. Adventure awaits!"

PLEASE NOTE: We are about a 7 minute drive to the nearest river acess, 13 minutes to Garner State Park and 11 minutes to Happy Hollow.

Other things to note
-Please be aware there is steep road to get to the top of the hill.
-Please note there is a camara at the front entrance of the home.
-No PETS allowed; Reservations may be cancelled if pets found. And an additional cost for deep pet cleaning. (My daughter is allergic to pets-NO EXCEPTIONS)
-As you exit the gate to your left in the garbage cans.
-You are welcome to take a around our 5 acres and enjoy our little park area.
-Please note we are about a 3 minute drive from the Cedar Mill.
-Reminder that we are in a Ranch and its outdoor living in Leakey so there is mosquitoes and bugs. Please keep door closed as leaving the door opens can get them in the home.

-Beautiful natural surroundings with giant Live oak and Pecan trees, plenty of shade
-Open areas for star gazing, and bird watching!
-Camp fires, BBQ and picnic tables, space for shaded yard games
-The Cabin is off of Scenic HWY 337, short drive to surrounding State Parks (Devil's Sink Hole)
Local Activities
Garner State Park: 9 miles, nightly dance(summer), put put golf, paddle boats, hiking, caves.
Lost Maples State Park area: 25 minutes, scenic drive, wine vineyard, hiking/monkey rock!

The space
Welcome to enjoy a nature walk or ride a bike on the driveway, it is fenced in places or has t-post with no trespassing signs in other place. Check out the aerial view in the pictures for the boundaries on the property and to see the AFrame cabin, marked with an A in the photo.

Guest access
The driveway is long it will take you to the Grain Bin. The white rock road continues to Thompson Creek( water levels vary depending on rain fall and the time of year)

Other things to note
With in the 9 guests staying at the cabin if someone would like to tent camp they are welcome set up 30-40 yards around the Grain Bin.
Please bring all you own linens from May to October
