Our home faces west, while the cabin faces north, ensuring privacy for both guests and hosts. Access to the cabin is via a separate road, ensuring your peace and privacy.

Note: Hunting is not permitted on the property.

Please keep in mind that you're renting a cozy cabin in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, where encounters with wildlife like snakes, deer, and raccoons are possible. If you decide to explore the four acres surrounding the cabin, we advise staying on designated trails and avoiding tall grass areas. Enjoy the serenity of nature, but stay vigilant and be cautious when driving at night, especially as deer tend to roam near roadsides.

Additionally, being in the countryside, you might come across various bugs, scorpions, and spiders. While we regularly employ pest control measures as well as personally treating the cabin in between, it's still possible to see some pest and bugs indoor. Rest assured, we do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Just a quick note: There is a camera located before you get to the cabin on a tree, facing the road. It’s not directed at the cabin and is simply there to monitor the road in. We just want to make you aware in case it’s visible.

There is a gas fireplace, gas cook stove, gas tankless hot water heater, small refrigerator, microwave and cabinetry with open shelving stocked with coffee and tea. Guests have easy access to a covered common shared patio and a front porch.

Off street rear parking is located opposite your front door next to the privacy fence. The total price will include the 7% city hotel motel tax as well as your cleaning fee.

Guests will have access to the common patio off the cabin's back door. There is a front porch for the cabin.

Other things to note
The cabin is situated on almost an acre of land shared with a vintage airstream and three small homes. The crushed red granite driveway enters the property at 404 South Milam and meanders back to the cabin. There is a large covered patio that is shared with the front home.
The cabin is permitted with the City of Fredericksburg as a short term rental.

Hill Country Cabin 5 fenced acres pets welcome. When bringing a pet not well behaved please let me know in advance all good.
Relax in the Hot Tub or cool off in the 8 foot filtered galvanized pool. Enjoy the fire pit sun sets and star gazing. There's a deck or screened porch where you can enjoy your morning and watch nature waking. There is a fridge, gas griddle, charcoal grill, electric griddle, microwave, portable oven and 2 burner hot plate. Along with everything you'll need to cook with.

The space
Five acres of beautiful hill country land fenced pets welcome. I have 2 sweet dogs that live full time on the property. And no you can't take any of them home. They do have full access of the property. Please be responsible pet owner. If your unsure with your pet around others. We can typically work somethin out so that everyone can enjoy there stay.

I have 2 large friendly dogs that live on the property. If you are bring your dog hopefully it is well behaved and not dominant with other dogs. If yours is questionable with others it's not a deal breaker. We will work together in order for it to work out for all.

Welcome to Enchanted Rockview Cabins – a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. From this scenic spot, you’ll see amazing views of Enchanted Rock, green landscapes, and have easy access to nearby outdoor fun. Rockview Cabin 4 is wheelchair accessible and pet-friendly, with two queen beds, a full kitchen, and space for up to four guests. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and nature.

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and staying compliant with short-term rental regulations. As part of our protection plan, included in your booking price, you will be required to complete an independent third-party verification through Truvi. Before your booking begins, you will be contacted via email and/or text to confirm your details and complete the verification process.

To ensure a smooth check-in experience, you'll also be asked to review and sign the house rules and FCM Homes terms & conditions via the Guest App Link sent in your reservation confirmation. - Early check-in and late check-out are possible, subject to availability and with an associated fee.
- The primary guest must be at least 21 years old and present for the entire reservation.
- No smoking on the premises inside or outside.
- Pets: Please no pets in cabin 1 or 5. Cabins 2 and 4 can accommodate 1 pet each with a $100 fee. No fencing on property. Pet must be leashed at all times.
- Parties are not allowed.
- Guests are not allowed to wander around the ranch and must stay within the yard boundaries of their dwelling as there are hunters, other properties, snakes, and rough terrain.
- There is a fire pit and BBQ grill on site for guest use. We kindly ask bring your own supplies, extinguish any flames/coals after each use, and adhere to any county burn ban in effect.
- Fireworks are not allowed.
- For safety reasons, lighting candles are not allowed inside the property. We kindly ask to please refrain from using any candles indoors to ensure the safety of all guests and the property.
- Additional fees may be incurred if personal items are left behind.
- If any furniture is moved, please place it back in the original space where it was found.
- Use of firearms and/or weaponry onsite is prohibited.
- In the event that you need to use the hard key, please place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key.
- This is a dark sky community. Please be sure to shut off any lights when they are not in use. A Dark Sky Community is a designated area that takes measures to reduce light pollution, preserving the natural night sky for the benefit of both people and wildlife.

HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us.

This property is on well water and with the extreme heat and current drought, the water pressure is low. Please be mindful of your water use and help us make efforts to conserve. It is best to shower one at a time as the water may not be able to sustain multiple locations all at once.

Please note that this is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. Rural areas like ours may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services.

As you may know, Texas is known for its bug inhabitants. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage this, and it shouldn't pose a problem during your stay. To help us keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed. Please feel free to use the bug spray underneath the sink.

Welcome to Cedar Cabin! This quaint cabin tucked away in the Texas Hill Country sits on five acres with miles of spectacular views. Enchanted Rock Natural State Area is only a few miles down the road, and Fredericksburg is a short twenty-minute drive away. This cabin is set up as a duplex sharing a wall with Mesquite cabin and would make the perfect place for two couples traveling together.

The space
This charming cabin has a studio-style layout featuring a king-size bed, cozy sofa, and a small kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee pot. You will find a spacious walk-in shower and rustic vanity in the bathroom to make getting ready for your day a breeze.

Enjoy the beauty of nature and the abundant wildlife while taking in the sunrise or sunset from the rocking chairs on the porch, and you can watch the stars at night in the relaxing hot tub. You can also access a fire pit shared with Mesquite Cabin, so grab the marshmallows and make some new friends.

Please Note: There are three cabins on this five-acre property:
Rocky Ridge Cabin
Mesquite and Cedar (duplex with a shared wall), although they share a wall, each cabin has its own hot tub.

-Cedar cabin does have WIFI; however it may be spotty at times.

- You may notice a sulfur-like odor at times due to the property's septic system.

As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

11. Please observe Quiet Hours (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
12. Fredericksburg is an international Dark Sky Community. To protect the dark skies, please turn off outdoor lighting when not in use.
13. Only utilize the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces at your rental.
14. For any issues during your stay, a 72-hour window after check-out is provided to file a claim. Note that refunds won't be issued for claims submitted after this period. We appreciate your cooperation.
