Free Wifi is offered throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The air-conditioned vacation home is composed of 2 separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 2 bathrooms. Towels and bed linen are featured in the vacation home. Four Sisters Ranch Cabin is one of two cabins available on Four Sisters Ranch. (Kat's Kabin is the 2nd.) This is a large cabin with two queen beds on one end and a full kitchen on the other. A smart TV and a couch are in the middle of the

Sip your coffee on the back porch with a fantastic view. This is a perfect place to unwind, make s’mores around the fire pit, star-gaze, enjoy the fresh country air and escape the stresses of the city.

You can enjoy the sounds of nature, wildlife and a beautiful night sky. You may see a variety of wildlife from the porch including deer, turkey, wild hogs and hummingbirds. Fire Flies are often seen during the summer months.

Located 90 mi NW of San Antonio and 7 mi from Utopia, the cabin is 15 miles from Lost Maples State Natural Area and 23 miles from Garner State Park. The Hill Country State Natural Area is about 45 miles away.

Our curvy, scenic roads boast fantastic hill country views. Local activities: Golf in Utopia (the setting for the movie 7 Days in Utopia). Go swimming at Utopia Park on the Sabinal River, Float the Frio River. Hike at Garner Park. Go birding at Lost Maple Park. Gaze at the stars. Photograph the picturesque hill country views. BBQ on the patio. Visit Lost Maples winery. The Texas hill country is a wonderful year around birding & wildlife viewing destination! We are in one of the best areas of Texas to see the Golden Cheeked Warbler, Black Capped Vireo, Vermilion Flycatcher and more!

Dine at The Laurel Tree in Utopia (requires a reservation) and Mac & Ernies in Tarpley for a fantastic dining experience! Utopia has several cafes and sometimes great BBQ on Saturdays at Big Ern's.

The nearest airport is in San Antonio (~1.5 hr drive). Austin is an ~ 3 hour drive.

Other Things to Note; For major holidays, a three night minimum is required. We might consider a one night booking. Send us an inquiry.

Utopia is a very small community with a general store, bank, gas station, cafes and a few shops. Limited groceries are available at the general store. The nearest large grocery store and hospital is 45 miles ( Hondo, Kerrville or Uvalde). Cell phone service is very limited, only AT&T works and it is spotty.

You can also rent Kat's Kabin #913458 if you would like to bring another family with you. It is about .2 miles away.

Although the cabin is secluded, you may hear the family gathering nearby sometimes in the summer and on holidays.

Our cabin sleeps 4 on two queen beds. No more than four people and one dog are allowed unless you have prior approval by the owner. There is a full kitchen and bath. There is a smart TV with DVD player and a large selection of movies for you to enjoy. We have internet! There is a large porch on the front and back of the cabin where you can relax and watch the wildlife come to the feeder.

Note: Since the cabin is one large room, it is not suitable for young children who need a separate place to nap. Our porches do not have rails so we are not an ideal place for toddlers.

If you want to visit the State parks you must make a reservation online 30 days in advance.

GPS is not always accurate. Take Hwy 187 north from Utopia. In 3 miles go left on West Sabinal Rd. Continue until you get to Lemond Rd. Take a left on Lemond and continue (passing through 4 cattleguards) until you get to 1848. There is a rock sign on your right. Follow the Four Sisters Ranch signs at the turns.

This is a nice small 2 bedroom cabin in Utopia. It is tucked away on County Road 355. It is just a half of a mile from main street Utopia. The Sabinal River runs though Utopia. So you can enjoy the Utopia Park Lake that has a dam with plenty of water to swim in and fish year round. Utopia is also 15 minutes from Garner state park and the Frio river. It is also just a 15 minute drive to Lost maples State park in Vanderpool. Come stay in this comfortable cabin and enjoy all there is to do in the hill country.

We saw deer each morning along with the local goats, golden retrievers, and farm cats. This Cabin is located just steps away from the cool clear Sabinal River with 500 feet of river frontage, an area famous for watching the abundant wild life and bright starry skies. A BBQ grill, picnic table, hammock and campfire pit are located just off the covered deck. From either the deck or the picnic/BBQ area you can enjoy the view of the beautiful river right out your door. Roasting marshmallows, cooking over an open fire, fishing and swimming are all waiting in one convenient vacation spot.

Don't expect to "rough it" when you come to the Hummingbird. Comfortable bed linens, a fully furnished kitchen and convenient bathroom mean most of the packing is already done for you. We've got plenty of towels to use after swimming and all the utensils, pots and pans you'll need for cooking your favorite meals. If you don't feel like cooking, that's ok too! The microwave, campfire, grill and restaurants in town provide easy alternatives. The Dish TV/DVD and attractively decorated atmosphere of the Hummingbird mean staying in and relaxing is always a welcome option for those who played too hard during the day.

- "This cabin is set back off the beaten path, their is deep water behind with plenty of room for chairs to gather and relax away from the hustle and Bussel, we were their July 4th and it was peaceful after spending the day in Garner State Park it was nice to come to the cabin where we could relax and watch the deer graze in the open pasture. we really enjoyed our self's hope to return soon. Tracy was a very good host; the place was clean and well stocked with everything that we needed. Thank you for the time well spent!!!!!"

- "Well the Sabinal used to run through the property but that's not their fault it dried up. Anyway, the pool was nice and the Tomahawk was a perfect little place for a weekend away from the city. - "This was really nice area and it was very quiet. The cabin was cute and you had a lot of space. There are other cabins there but you have a lot of space separating yours from others. The place was very clean. Had all the amenities needed. Definitely recommend staying there and would stay again." - "We liked the cabin; it was cozy and comfortable. River Park Lodge overlooks the Sabinal River just south of Utopia Park Lake. This 4 bed / 2 bath home has a big porch with hot tub and 300 feet of private river frontage. A fully stocked kitchen, nice living area, along with hardwood floors and aspen walls make this house extremely inviting! Linens and towels are provided. 3 rooms have queen beds, and the 4th bedroom has two bunks each with full mattresses. There will be a $110 cleaning fee added to your reservation. NO PETS ALLOWED
