The R&R River house (main house), Birdhouse Cottage, Jolene's Airstream and Cactus Camper are four other rentals available on the property which is perfect if you have a large family or large group. You can rent all five cabins and enjoy the whole property to yourselves.

The Cowboy Cabin is small and cozy with 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bathroom, a mini loft with a queen size bed and full size sofa sleeper in the living area. This is not a large home! The full kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven & microwave and dual coffee brewer (k-cups & 12 cup/pot). The cabin has two smart TV's (one in the bedroom and one in the living area) with all major streaming services available for you to log in to, YouTubeTV is included!

Things to do close by:
Pace Bend Park and El Gaucho Winery are less than 10 minutes away and the Hill Country Galleria is 15 minutes away filled with shopping and restaurants. You can also enjoy lakeside dining at Lighthouse Restaurant right on the water about 5 minutes from the property.

Green Acres Spicewood is a newly renovated glamping retreat that offers our guests a chance to enjoy the Texas Hill Country & experience glamping all in one. This collection of 4 tiny cabins and 8 vintage RV's rest on 20 acres of beautiful countryside on Highway 71. Each unit has access to The Bathhouse that consists of 4 bathrooms (2 indoor showers) 2 outdoor showers, a community sitting area, laundry room, full-size refrigerator, and ice machine.

Each unit also has access to the outdoor area with a playground (adult must be present), hammocks, BBQ pits, fire pits (must follow county guidelines if there is a burn ban in effect), corn hole, room to walk and enjoy our property, and outdoor dining areas. We do allow dogs, but they must be on the leash at all times as we have free range ducks and chickens that roam the property. We also have a dog park and dog wash station available!

Come through the black gates and park in last driveway on the left near the golf cart. Use the golf cart to load your things and drive down the black road to the left to your tent.

Hosts live on site and are usually available for last minute needs. We do love to interact with our guests when they are open to that. We have a medium size friendly dog, Spike that tends to visit the tent area.

Lyft and Uber or taxi is offered but I suggest a car rental. Boar and/or jet ski rentals nearby at Briarcliff Marina in season.

Entire property when not in a drought has two boat docks + 2-two person kayaks use and golf cart to drive to your tent. Note: As of 3/2023 river is dry.

Owners do live on site but do not have a direct view to your hot tub our bathroom area and only partial view to your deck.

No breakfast is provided but you can use grill side burner to cook eggs or use the microwave. Great breakfast taco trailer 5 min away on corner of old ferry/Pacebend road.

We have an outside sink installed for washing your dishes.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Guests also have access to most of the 7 acres of the Bee Creek Ranch venue. There are trails back into the woods past our olive groves. While the larger property is shared, the cottage has a semi-private yard (bushes and trees keep you hidden, but no fence) where you can be by yourselves. You will receive the door code in messages/email before you arrive.

Our property is off RO Dr, up a lane. Parking for two vehicles right outside the cottage which is the first building pass the gate on the right as you drive up the lane.

Only 30-35 minutes from downtown Austin, Tx, enjoy the city and the Hill Country from a central location to both. With multiple Breweries, Wineries, and Authentic Texas BBQ joints just minutes away, it's a great place to get into nature, chill, relax and be a sweet drive into Austin, Dripping Springs, Marble Falls, and the Wine Country of Fredericksburg. Easy shopping and conveniences lie just 10 minutes away in the towns of Lakeway and Beecave.

Important Notes:
We love Pets at Bee Creek Ranch, but we also need to know if you're bringing them. We have a pet fee of $75 for up to 2 pets. You can pay during the check-out process, or if not, reach out to us and you can pay via a link before check-in. If you bring a pet and it's not a legal service animal, you must pay the pet fee. Cleaning-up after pets often takes housekeeping hours more effort because their fine fur gets everywhere and vacuums won't clean it. Every inch of the cottage must be painstakingly inspected. This is true even for hypoallergenic pets. Please, when booking, include the pet so you can pay the pet fee. If you forgot or didn't see where to pay, please contact the host so you can pay directly. The funds go to housekeeping in order to make certain the next guest has an amazing experience. The pet fee covers and is limited to 2 pets per stay. If you have more than 2 pets reach out to us to see if we accept more than 2 pets in your situation and the pet fee addendum.

Our units have amenities like hot tubs. We require a liability waiver to be signed before check-in. This is a requirement of our insurance. We appreciate your compliance. We kindly request you follow all amenity rules for your own safety and so that future guests will be able to enjoy them as well.

Bee Creek Ranch is in nature, and you'll see foxes, rabbits, tons of deer, and all other sorts of critters from time to time. While they are fun to watch, don't touch. Texas does have poisonous and dangerous critters. Keep your distance, and be observant when you walk around the property. Especially if you bring a pet. Pets must always be on a leash outside.

We have an amenities area with a pool, fire-pit, hot tub, petting zoo, bar area, foosball, TV and game system and more. This area is shared between two Airbnbs.

Bee Creek Ranch has an Art Gallery and Stage/Theater that from time to time might be used for events and activities on the property including concerts and weddings. If an event is scheduled during your stay we will do our best to make you aware of this, however, we do not guarantee there will be no events during your stay. Most events are open to our guests to enjoy. Do you want to rent out the stage or other facilities for an event? Reach out to us!

Security Note: For our guest's security, we do have security cameras located throughout the venue. At the cottage there is one camera at the entry door.

Quiet and gated community with lots of wildlife, most notably deer and birds. When entering the community you'll drive alongside a private airstrip and occasionally see small plans taking off and landing. Bring a book and a bottle of wine for some stargazing in the nature rich neighborhood of Windermere. - The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, including everything from pots pans and dishes to our favorite spices so you can cook up whatever comfort food your hearts and belly desires.

- Throughout the rest of the home and detached living area, you’ll notice lots of local art and decorative pieces picked up over the years from our favorite vintage fairs.

- In addition to the detached bedroom and bathroom, you’ll also have an additional living room stocked with games, a mini fridge, a sofa bed and washer and dryer. Giving you enough room for two families of four to enjoy a relaxing weekend together.

- Between the main cabin and detached living area, you’ll find a breezeway that leads you out back for yet another opportunity to lounge and take in the calming sounds of nature. Fire up the grill, gather around the fire pit or jump in the hammock under the stars.

- You will have access to the entire property (main cabin and guest cabin). You will also have access to three community pools, tennis courts, covered communal built-in bbq grills and our own marina on the lake with a lakeside park.

- If you’re feeling adventurous, make sure to check out the animals at Exotic Resort Zoo, rent an ATX at Hidden Falls Adventure Park or zipline through the canopy of old-growth cypress trees at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours.

- We're also conveniently located so guests can get to Austin for live music or the Hill Country Galleria for shopping. Venture a little further West to experience the local vineyards. There's plenty to do and see or just take a load off and relax.

- Pizzeria Sorellina is a community favorite. Pizza, wine, beer, music and a playground for the kiddos! Kick back and relax with friends, family and full bellies.

- Mule Shoe Bend Recreation Park is HUGE and close by and a great place for hiking along Lake Travis, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, and picnics. Bluebonnet season March to May is a real sight to see! Visit local popular attractions including breathtaking Krause Springs (as tropical as Texas gets).

- Spicewood Airport is located in the neighborhood so you can literally fly in or just enjoy watching the planes fly the clear skies above. You’ll be able to see a variety of planes including historic war planes, aerobatic planes, and small jets.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
