The R&R River house (main house), Birdhouse Cottage, Jolene's Airstream and Cactus Camper are four other rentals available on the property which is perfect if you have a large family or large group. You can rent all five cabins and enjoy the whole property to yourselves.

The Cowboy Cabin is small and cozy with 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bathroom, a mini loft with a queen size bed and full size sofa sleeper in the living area. This is not a large home! The full kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven & microwave and dual coffee brewer (k-cups & 12 cup/pot). The cabin has two smart TV's (one in the bedroom and one in the living area) with all major streaming services available for you to log in to, YouTubeTV is included!

Things to do close by:
Pace Bend Park and El Gaucho Winery are less than 10 minutes away and the Hill Country Galleria is 15 minutes away filled with shopping and restaurants. You can also enjoy lakeside dining at Lighthouse Restaurant right on the water about 5 minutes from the property.

Green Acres Spicewood is a newly renovated glamping retreat that offers our guests a chance to enjoy the Texas Hill Country & experience glamping all in one. This collection of 4 tiny cabins and 8 vintage RV's rest on 20 acres of beautiful countryside on Highway 71. Each unit has access to The Bathhouse that consists of 4 bathrooms (2 indoor showers) 2 outdoor showers, a community sitting area, laundry room, full-size refrigerator, and ice machine.

Each unit also has access to the outdoor area with a playground (adult must be present), hammocks, BBQ pits, fire pits (must follow county guidelines if there is a burn ban in effect), corn hole, room to walk and enjoy our property, and outdoor dining areas. We do allow dogs, but they must be on the leash at all times as we have free range ducks and chickens that roam the property. We also have a dog park and dog wash station available!

Come through the black gates and park in last driveway on the left near the golf cart. Use the golf cart to load your things and drive down the black road to the left to your tent.

Hosts live on site and are usually available for last minute needs. We do love to interact with our guests when they are open to that. We have a medium size friendly dog, Spike that tends to visit the tent area.

Lyft and Uber or taxi is offered but I suggest a car rental. Boar and/or jet ski rentals nearby at Briarcliff Marina in season.

Entire property when not in a drought has two boat docks + 2-two person kayaks use and golf cart to drive to your tent. Note: As of 3/2023 river is dry.

Owners do live on site but do not have a direct view to your hot tub our bathroom area and only partial view to your deck.

No breakfast is provided but you can use grill side burner to cook eggs or use the microwave. Great breakfast taco trailer 5 min away on corner of old ferry/Pacebend road.

We have an outside sink installed for washing your dishes.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Guests also have access to most of the 7 acres of the Bee Creek Ranch venue. There are trails back into the woods past our olive groves. While the larger property is shared, the cottage has a semi-private yard (bushes and trees keep you hidden, but no fence) where you can be by yourselves. You will receive the door code in messages/email before you arrive.

Our property is off RO Dr, up a lane. Parking for two vehicles right outside the cottage which is the first building pass the gate on the right as you drive up the lane.

Only 30-35 minutes from downtown Austin, Tx, enjoy the city and the Hill Country from a central location to both. With multiple Breweries, Wineries, and Authentic Texas BBQ joints just minutes away, it's a great place to get into nature, chill, relax and be a sweet drive into Austin, Dripping Springs, Marble Falls, and the Wine Country of Fredericksburg. Easy shopping and conveniences lie just 10 minutes away in the towns of Lakeway and Beecave.

Important Notes:
We love Pets at Bee Creek Ranch, but we also need to know if you're bringing them. We have a pet fee of $75 for up to 2 pets. You can pay during the check-out process, or if not, reach out to us and you can pay via a link before check-in. If you bring a pet and it's not a legal service animal, you must pay the pet fee. Cleaning-up after pets often takes housekeeping hours more effort because their fine fur gets everywhere and vacuums won't clean it. Every inch of the cottage must be painstakingly inspected. This is true even for hypoallergenic pets. Please, when booking, include the pet so you can pay the pet fee. If you forgot or didn't see where to pay, please contact the host so you can pay directly. The funds go to housekeeping in order to make certain the next guest has an amazing experience. The pet fee covers and is limited to 2 pets per stay. If you have more than 2 pets reach out to us to see if we accept more than 2 pets in your situation and the pet fee addendum.

Our units have amenities like hot tubs. We require a liability waiver to be signed before check-in. This is a requirement of our insurance. We appreciate your compliance. We kindly request you follow all amenity rules for your own safety and so that future guests will be able to enjoy them as well.

Bee Creek Ranch is in nature, and you'll see foxes, rabbits, tons of deer, and all other sorts of critters from time to time. While they are fun to watch, don't touch. Texas does have poisonous and dangerous critters. Keep your distance, and be observant when you walk around the property. Especially if you bring a pet. Pets must always be on a leash outside.

We have an amenities area with a pool, fire-pit, hot tub, petting zoo, bar area, foosball, TV and game system and more. This area is shared between two Airbnbs.

Bee Creek Ranch has an Art Gallery and Stage/Theater that from time to time might be used for events and activities on the property including concerts and weddings. If an event is scheduled during your stay we will do our best to make you aware of this, however, we do not guarantee there will be no events during your stay. Most events are open to our guests to enjoy. Do you want to rent out the stage or other facilities for an event? Reach out to us!

Security Note: For our guest's security, we do have security cameras located throughout the venue. At the cottage there is one camera at the entry door.

When entering the community you'll drive alongside a private airstrip and occasionally see small plans taking off and landing. - If you’re feeling adventurous, make sure to check out the animals at Exotic Resort Zoo, rent an ATX at Hidden Falls Adventure Park or zipline through the canopy of old-growth cypress trees at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours.

- We're also conveniently located so guests can get to Austin for live music or the Hill Country Galleria for shopping. Venture a little further West to experience the local vineyards. There's plenty to do and see or just take a load off and relax.

- Pizzeria Sorellina is a community favorite. Pizza, wine, beer, music and a playground for the kiddos! Kick back and relax with friends, family and full bellies.

- Mule Shoe Bend Recreation Park is HUGE and close by and a great place for hiking along Lake Travis, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, and picnics. Bluebonnet season March to May is a real sight to see! Visit local popular attractions including breathtaking Krause Springs (as tropical as Texas gets).

- Spicewood Airport is located in the neighborhood so you can literally fly in or just enjoy watching the planes fly the clear skies above. You’ll be able to see a variety of planes including historic war planes, aerobatic planes, and small jets.

Green Acres Spicewood is a newly renovated glamping retreat that offers our guests a chance to enjoy the Texas Hill Country & experience glamping all in one. This collection of 4 tiny cabins and 8 vintage RV's rest on 20 acres of beautiful countryside on Highway 71.

Each unit has access to The Bathhouse that consists of 4 bathrooms (2 indoor spa like bathrooms with showers) 2 outdoor showers, a community sitting area, laundry room, full-size refrigerator, and ice machine.

Each unit also has access to the outdoor area with a playground (adult must be present), hammocks, BBQ pits, fire pits (must follow county guidelines if there is a burn ban in effect), corn hole, room to walk and enjoy our property, and outdoor dining areas. We do allow dogs, but they must be on the leash at all times as we have free range ducks and chickens that roam the property. We also have a dog park and dog wash station available!

Treat yourself to a stay at this rustic chic A-frame home and get away from it all for a while! The interior is just as charming as the exterior with tall vaulted ceilings, natural wood throughout, and a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen. The wall of windows will lead you to the spacious deck where you will be surrounded by tall trees and beautiful sounds of nature.

Guests will have full access to the cabin that sits on a 1 acre lot.

The property has a private dock that you can access. We also have 3 kayaks available to guests.

The space
Our cabin is equipped with smart home features. Use voice control to turn on and off the lights. Go ogle devices can be found in the bathroom and kitchen. For more information on how to use voice commands, please refer to the guestbook (provided in cabin).

For your security, there is a ring doorbell at the front entrance.

-Room 1: The downstairs bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds. This bedroom is also equipped with a dedicated work station.

-Room 2: The loft upstairs has a queen bed and sound machine, and is open to the living room below.

-Living Room: There is a queen sofa bed. Extra pillows and blankets can be found in room 1, in a linen storage box under the bed.

We are kid friendly! A pack and play and high chair are provided during your stay, upon request. We also have a high chair provided in the cabin.
***The stairs inside the cabin are steep and are not advised to be used without adult supervision. A child safety gate is located and the bottom of the stairs and be closed.

The newly renovated bathroom has a walk in shower that is fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Toilet paper and hand soap are also provided. Extra towels can be found in the cabinet.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to feel like you are at home. Two K-cups are provided for each stay.

The cabin has Wi-Fi and a smart TV. This property is BYOL (Bring your Own Login). Guests are welcome to log in via Roku guest mode to access Netflix, Hulu, etc. A DVD player is also provided and DVDs can be found in the basket under the staircase.

Board games are also available and can be found on the shelf under the staircase.

There is a grill and fire table available for your use. Propane for the grill and fire table is supplied.

Spicewood has so much to offer. From zip lining and wineries, to natural swimming holes and delicious eateries. You’ll be very entertained out here. Recommendations for places to try and things to do will be found in our guestbook.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The space
This country style cabin is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. Kick off your boots and fire up the grill and firepit, while playing corn whole and making smores.

Enjoy the sunset and dark night sky for stargazing. Explore the abundant wildlife, beautiful hill country, parks, dining, and wineries. Just minutes away from Willie Nelson's Luck Ranch!

This cabin is located on the water and steps away from the water and across the street from Blissful Hill Wedding Venue. The R&R River house (main house), Birdhouse Cottage, Jolene's Airstream and Cactus Camper are four other rentals available on the property which is perfect if you have a large family or large group. You can rent all five and enjoy the whole property to yourselves. All five rentals share the dock and 130 feet of lakeshore access.

The Cowboy Cabin is small and cozy with 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bathroom, a mini loft with a queen size bed and full size sofa sleeper in the living area. This is not a large home! The full kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven & microwave and dual coffee brewer (k-cups & 12 cup/pot). The cabin has two smart TV's (one in the bedroom and one in the living area) with all major streaming services available for you to log in to, YouTubeTV is included!

Things to do close by:
Pace Bend Park and El Gaucho Winery are less than 10 minutes away and the Hill Country Galleria is 15 minutes away filled with shopping and restaurants. You can also enjoy lakeside dining at Lighthouse Restaurant right on the water about 5 minutes from the property.

Unwind in a restored log cabin just for two with special comforts and seclusion, perched amidst oak trees, with a detached screened porch/fireplace. There is ONLY ONE guest cabin on 26 acres with our Lake Travis shoreline in the distance. A pastoral sunrise view of deer across the field begins the day. Central A/C, smart tv, clawfoot tub/shower, cotton bedding, duvet and robes. Propane grill. See the night sky, Wildlife/flowers, birding, stars-all yours.

The space
Experience the beauty of the Hill Country. Look out your front door across the field towards the lake, where deer bed-down in the evening. No houses across the lake provides a charmed, natural setting. A special spot is relaxing beneath the old oak tree by the lake, which is 1/4 mile (1300 feet) away. Hummingbirds, roadrunners, and songbirds may pay you a visit. It is all simply relaxing. You are the only guests on 26 acres.

Lake Travis is full. We do not recommend accessing the lake from our property yet due to debris from flooding. Nearby Lake Marble Falls or Lake LBJ are good alternatives. Krause Springs is down the road with a spring-fed pool for swimming.

You have:
An outside gas grill with side-burner, we provide propane.
Kitchenette is fully stocked with dishes/utensils/pots and pans for the grill's side-burner.
Microwave and small fridge inside and one full-sized refrigerator with top freezer (no ice-maker) by the screened porch. There is no oven. K-cup coffee machine, kcups, sugar, creamer.

Owners live on property out of view on a hill behind the cabin. We can't see you, either! We do share the road and must drive past the screened porch to proceed up the hill.

Guest access
We have a coded entrance gate and will provide a code to you the day prior to arrival.

Guests have access to all of the property from the cabin down to the lakefront. Please see our pictures to get an idea of the space: there is one showing the view from the cabin's uncovered porch looking out over a field towards the lake. Depending on the lake level, you can see the lake through the trees in the distance (In 2024, we are still in a drought stage and the lake is very low). The cabin is surrounded by oaks, so there is always some shade (plus the additional separate screened porch) and typically a nice breeze.

Keep in mind that even though this is 26 acres, it is private property, and there are neighbors on other acreage in the area. Drones are not allowed. Loud music can be heard.

We, the original owners, celebrate 29 years in business in 2025!

Please note the cabin is intimate (but lovely and you will not want to leave). Our pictures display the interior, but just a word of caution in case you are not ready to be in close quarters with your travel companion. A solid door was added between the bedroom and bath/kitchenette area but is not reflected in the pictures.

*2025: Lake Travis is now full. We do not yet recommend accessing the lake from our property due to debris from flooding. Going to Lake Marble Falls or Lake LBJ would be preferable.

There is a hammock between the trees. Both the cabin porch and the screened porch have chairs and pillows and there is a small bistro table on the screened porch. The screened porch is enclosed with plastic panels in the winter.

FYI-"Property Use Taxes" is a poor label. This is the required state and county hotel tax.

We are the original owners since the log cabin was reconstructed (by L.C.) in 1995.

This cabin is completely furnished, cozy & comfortable located lakeside. Included is private beach area for great fishing, swimming or boating. This area is known worldwide for the best wake boarding. The view of the sunsets are amazing! The porch is perfect for your favorite beverage while viewing wildlife in the evenings and mornings. Many unique places to visit near and in Spicewood which include wineries, cold water springs, county music venues and AUSTIN is only a short distant away!

The space
This area is know for the soul of county music and once was the location of Willie Nelson's property with history of Willie and his friends writing songs, parties and stories beyond belief. One more detail to take into consideration! Next door is a wedding venue so I ask our guest to be quiet during the ceremonies, (about 30 minutes) on Saturday evenings. Then there is usually a live band or DJ until 11PM. I enjoy the happy music but it can get loud.

Guest access
Guest have access to the complete point in front of cabin for fishing & swimming including the dock.

Other things to note
Occasionally an outdoor wedding will be conducted at the left side of point. During the wedding we ask our guest to be quiet which last about 30 minutes. After the wedding they have a building across the road to the cabin with music which they end around 11PM per Blissful Hill. My past guest have never complained about the music but have enjoyed the music. I personally love the music and watching the weddings.

This hill-country cabin hideaway is a wooden work of art. Explore the natural beauty of the area with a visit to Hamilton Pool, Reimer's Ranch, Krause Springs or Muleshoe Park.

We're also conveniently located so guests can get to Austin for live music and The Hill Country Galleria for shopping. Venture a little further West to experience the local vineyards.

There's plenty to do and see or just kick back and relax.

The space
An open concept design connects kitchen and the living area letting you prepare a meal while watching television or visiting with your party. The living room is newly furnished and centered on a limestone fireplace with wooded views. There is also a 48-inch flat screen hidden in an armoire. The upstairs loft bedroom over the kitchen overlooks the living area and has a large window to look out over the trees. Connecting the living area and kitchen with the master is the reading room. The guest bathroom on the main floor includes a claw foot tub and pedestal sink. With slate stone floors and heirloom antiques, it's a peaceful place to sit and read or simply look out the French doors to enjoy the birds under the oaks. Another set of French doors open onto a private covered patio. Two sides of the patio have gardens with rosemary, roses and lavender. It's a beautiful place, perfect for sipping wine or enjoying a meal. Back inside you can make your way up several stairs adorned with elk antler handrails to the master suite. The master has a beautiful antique oak sleigh bed and sitting area. The on-suite bathroom has a claw foot tub with a shower feature for bathing options. There is also a full size washer and dryer. The cabin has original art throughout.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cabin. They will also have access to a yard on the west side of the cabin (to the right if you are facing the front doors). There are also 3 covered porches guests may use.

You can star gaze around the newly constructed outdoor fire ring. The custom limestone fire pit lets you snuggle up under the night sky and enjoy a beautiful evening. We'll have the wood cut and ready for your stay.

The cabin is located 10-20 minutes from local attractions such as Spicewood Vineyards, Stonehouse Vineyard, as well as Hamilton Pool, Krausse Springs, Reimers Ranch, and many more. We're minutes away from Lake Travis and the Pedernales River.

Other things to note
There is also a friendly Frenchie named Olive who may greet you.

- The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, including everything from pots pans and dishes to our favorite spices so you can cook up whatever comfort food your hearts and belly desires.

- Throughout the rest of the home and detached living area, you’ll notice lots of local art and decorative pieces picked up over the years from Daniela’s favorite vintage fairs.

- In addition to the detached bedroom and bathroom, you’ll also have an additional living room stocked with games,, a sofa bed and washer and dryer. Giving you enough room for two families of four to enjoy a relaxing weekend together.

- Between the main cabin and detached living area, you’ll find a breezeway that leads you out back for yet another opportunity to lounge and take in the calming sounds of nature. Fire up the grill, gather around the fire pit or jump in the hammock under the stars.

Guest access
- You will have access to the entire property (main cabin and guest cabin). This makes for the perfect place for two couples or a family vacation. The main cabin consists of two bedrooms and one full bath. The guest cabin has another bedroom and full bathroom, in addition to it's own living room.

- You will also have access to three community pools, pickleball & tennis courts, covered communal built-in bbq grills and our own marina on the lake (pending water levels)

- Briarcliff Marina is less than 20 minutes away and the perfect place to rent a boat or drop your own boat in on their ramp. Whether you are fishing, water skiing or cruising via pontoon, they've got it all.

- If you’re feeling adventurous, make sure to check out the animals at Exotic Resort Zoo, rent an ATX at Hidden Falls Adventure Park or zipline through the canopy of old-growth cypress trees at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours.

- We're also conveniently located so guests can get to Austin for live music or the Hill Country Galleria for shopping. Venture a little further West to experience the local vineyards. There's plenty to do and see or just take a load off and relax.

- Pizzeria Sorellina is a community favorite. Pizza, wine, beer, music and a playground for the kiddos! Kick back and relax with friends, family and full bellies.

- Mule Shoe Bend Recreation Park is HUGE and close by and a great place for hiking along Lake Travis, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, and picnics. Bluebonnet season March to May is a real sight to see! Visit local popular attractions including breathtaking Krause Springs (as tropical as Texas gets).

- Spicewood Airport is located in the neighborhood so you can literally fly in or just enjoy watching the planes fly the clear skies above. You’ll be able to see a variety of planes including historic war planes, aerobatic planes, and small jets.

After booking and before you arrive, you'll receive both a unique gate and door code. Keys to all the community amenities and guest cabin can be found in the cabin, on the key hook when you enter.
