The Cabin sits on the North bank of the Salado Creek in the heart of Salado. Located next to Pace Park, you will share deck space with guests staying at The Lodge, the sister to The Cabin. While you will share a multi-level deck space, there is plenty of room for all. You have your own firepit, and can share the creek frontage with fellow guests. This one room, one bathroom space has a kitchenette style space with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, dishes and a fully tiled step in shower.
The space
The Salado Sawmill provided some amazing accents for this space including a waterfall, live edge bathroom vanity, live edge kitchenette counter and live edge shelving. A unique burl piece finds a home on the wall as well. The back door to this one room space opens out onto the deck, which has multi-levels and spaces giving plenty of options for seating and access to the creek and firepit area. Deck and creek frontage are shared spaces, but the Cabin and the Lodge both have their own firepits. You can rent just The Cabin or The Lodge, or if your group is large, rent both spaces. Guest access
You will have two parking spaces out front. Salado has beautiful new sidewalks with lights, so one can walk to most of the local venues. Salado is also golf cart friendly so one can rent a cart from a local vendor. Call early if you want to reserve a cart.
Other things to note
The Cabin and The Lodge are side by side and share deck spaces and the creek side access. The Cabin has its own fire pit and firewood stack, located just off the deck on the left if facing Salado Creek. The deck is multi-level with plenty of room for all guests. The property stretches to the creek edge and there is lots of room under the creek side trees where the big rocks are.
Feel free to take folding chairs to the creek side, just be sure to bring back up each day.

Our vintage grain silo is so unique and cozy that you will be back for years to come. Come enjoy this country secret for a girl's weekend, share some wine from the 2 local wineries or hike any of the 3 nearby state parks. There is also mountain biking nearby at Spider Mountain. Upstairs in the loft you will find a glorious queen bed to rest your head as well as a cute and comfy reading nook. Downstairs is a queen murphy bed that is very comfy and unique. There is a coffee nook with several ways to get your caffeine. The bathroom comes complete with a towel warmer and all the toiletries you need. The silo is very unique with all of its stained-glass windows and vintage Egyptian front door. It also boasts custom handmade coffee cups and stained-glass succulents throughout. There is no television available in the silo, but Wi-Fi is. Our other listings have TV, but we are trying something different here. Spend your time outside counting stars and making wishes.

The view was really nice and we were happy with the quality of the rooms and the cleanliness of the entire property. The super friendly cat was a nice surprise and entertained the kids as well. Two large primary suites on separate wings feature luxurious king beds for a restful night`s sleep. One suite has a sofa and chair.

Versatile Upstairs Layout:
West Wing: Two cozy rooms, each with a queen bed and a full futon bed in one of the rooms.
East Wing: A king bed, a full bunk with a twin on top, and an additional futon for extra flexibility.

Game Room Basement: Equipped with foosball, air hockey, and a card table. Includes a full futon and plenty of floor space.

Comfort for All:
Ample seating, including reclining couches and chairs in the living room, ensures everyone has a cozy spot to relax.

- "This house is on a large ranch, and if you are looking to get away from the city, this place fits the bill. Lots of deer and cows and wide open space. No WiFi, but AT&T cell service was good enough to stream video. Master plus two other sleep rooms, we split between the boys and the girls. Front porch is good area to watch the deer. House is well equipped with all the "stuff" you need to cook. There is an HEB in town, with lots of outdoor activities including Colorado Bend and Inks Lake State Park, the Hancock Springs Pool (cold water, nice reprieve from the central Texas heat) and the San Saba Nature Area. Host was responsive. Several AC window units kept up with 100 degree days. We had a good time."

A sliding door facing West offers hill country views that can be enjoyed from both indoors and outdoors, whichever you prefer. The futton in the tiny living room can be made into a bed if desired. Reese Creek is a 5 minute walk away down the hill.

- "Nice gal, wasn’t as stated! Not a tiny house, twenty year old camper had soft spots I. The floors from water damage, strange Oder I couldn’t put my finger on, also the shower way to small, the bed was small and the bedroom windows were gross."
