Our house is only steps away from the edge of beautiful Belton Lake and a marina where boats, paddleboards, kayaks, and more are available for rental (reservations are recommended) and only one block from a boat ramp if you bring your own.

Our unique property is near the lake, centrally located to downtown Belton for food and restaurants along Nolan Creek, University of Mary Hardin Baylor, Bell County Expo Center, Temple Baylor Scott and White hospital, Ft. Hood, and Killeen. Also there are several wineries located nearby in Salado and Georgetown, and only 40 min. to Magnolia Silos in Waco.

Multiple walking/hiking trails are located nearby. We can offer our guests a pass to nearby parks for picnicking, swimming.and other water activities for a great family adventure.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and backyard. The garage is locked and is off-limits to guests, as the owner uses the garage for personal storage.
Parking
The driveway is large enough to accommodate 4 vehicles. All vehicles must park in the driveway. There is absolutely no parking on the street in front of the house, as the sprinklers run along the street and the heads can be easily damaged.

Your stay will allow you to escape from city into the country, but have access to city amenities. Watch large screen streaming TV on the Pavilion or in entertaining area of the Casita. On request, we will make available, Traeger smoker, gas grill, or two burner Induction stove. Inside your room, there is small refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. We want your visit with us to be an opportunity to escape the city (like we have) and enjoy the country. We have installed a 14" gel and foam queen size mattress on an adjustable bed so that you can sleep like you are in heaven. The family room sofa offers a pull out gel mattress, but we offer a queen size memory foam tri-fold mattress that greatly improves the comfort level.

There is a rough trail from our property to the bottom of lake. We are told there is great fishing, but since we don't fish I can only relay what we've been told from guides. During your stay, you are likely to see deer grazing on the property as you enter or leave. There are many varieties of birds including a lot of Cardinals as Belinda puts out bird seed almost every day. She keeps seed down in the pavilion so that you can put some out while you sip your morning coffee. You might even see the roadrunners running along the driveway or near the trail in search of their mate or food.

Walking through the front door will put you in the entertaining room where the sofa will pullout to a queen size bed. You'll walk through a doorway that can be closed with barn doors to the bedroom. Our vintage grain silo is so unique and cozy that you will be back for years to come. Upstairs in the loft you will find a glorious queen bed to rest your head as well as a cute and comfy reading nook. Downstairs is a queen murphy bed that is very comfy and unique. There is a coffee nook with several ways to get your caffeine. The bathroom comes complete with a towel warmer and all the toiletries you need. The silo is very unique with all of its stained-glass windows and vintage Egyptian front door. It also boasts custom handmade coffee cups and stained-glass succulents throughout. There is no television available in the silo, but Wi-Fi is. Our other listings have TV, but we are trying something different here. Spend your time outside counting stars and making wishes.

The lake is meant to provide flood risk management, supply water and offer recreational opportunities to the Salado/Belton area, and to offer some of the best fishing, camping and boating in Central Texas.

- "This house is on a large ranch, and if you are looking to get away from the city, this place fits the bill. Lots of deer and cows and wide open space. No WiFi, but AT&T cell service was good enough to stream video. Master plus two other sleep rooms, we split between the boys and the girls. Front porch is good area to watch the deer. House is well equipped with all the "stuff" you need to cook. There is an HEB in town, with lots of outdoor activities including Colorado Bend and Inks Lake State Park, the Hancock Springs Pool (cold water, nice reprieve from the central Texas heat) and the San Saba Nature Area. Host was responsive. Several AC window units kept up with 100 degree days. We had a good time."
