We've even put in laundry machines for your convenience. Hardwood flooring goes throughout the whole home with the exception of the bathroom, and there's plenty of natural light that pours through the windows.

And the best part? You'll be staying at the Dreamland grounds! Dreamland is a outdoor entertainment and arts venue that features 16 dedicated Pickleball courses (4 covered, 12 uncovered), exciting terrain based miniature golf and disc golf courses, and one state of the art music stage. Dreamland is also an incredible art experience, with large scale sculptures, murals, & mosaics commissioned by some of the world’s top artists. There's a bar and outdoor family beer garden, and a children's splash pad & playground, stage for live music, and large picnic tables to relax and enjoy a livestream of your favorite games on our large flat screen TVs. You can park up to 3 vehicles in the driveway located in front of the cabin. Please note that the driveway has a partial gravel section; low-clearance vehicles, such as a Corvette, may have difficulty and could bottom out. Additionally, please do not park on the grass areas.

With plenty of room to gather or to find that quiet time, the Casitas have massive, covered porches, most with fireplaces. The Casitas offer premium mattresses and linens on imported wooden beds. They are carefully designed with stained concrete floors, 12 foot walls, vaulted ceilings, quartz countertops, kitchens with fridge/freezer and cooktop, and custom baths with double vanities and dual showerheads. All Casitas have high speed Wi-Fi. It’s high style in the Hill Country!

There are two 2 Bedroom/2 Bath Casitas that sleep 8 (1 king, 2 double, 1 queen sleeper), four 1 Bedroom Casitas that sleep 4 (1 king, 1 queen sleeper), four Studio Casitas that sleep 2 (1 king), and The Retreat (2 queen beds). Combined, the 11 Casitas sleep 44. For extra capacity, the queen air bed package can be added to the 4 Studios to sleep another 8 people. The Casitas are dog friendly ($35/night/dog) and must be pre-registered. Additionally, the Ranch House, just down the street can be added on to sleep an extra 7 for an additional fee.

The grounds along Deadman’s Creek (wet weather creek) include the pool and hot tub, hiking trails, a Texas-sized fire pit, corn hole and a Pavilion and Chapel, called La Capilla, with views down the Pedernales River Valley, as well as The Grotto, a shaded park area. The Pavilion is perfect for formal dining up to 50 and events up to 60 people-additional fee and contract required. The Pavilion has a chef's kitchen with a 5 burner cook top, double oven, microwave, full size refrigerator, double sink and dishwasher. There is also a large propane grill for guests use.

DOG FRIENDLY: tell owner when making reservation that you wish to bring a dog(s). Dog fee= $35/dog/night.

FOR MEETINGS: The Retreat, an indoor, climate-controlled, high end meeting space is now available. Additional fee possible.

Out of all the VRBO rentals I've stayed at, from the East Coast to the West Coast this was my absolute favorite. There is NOTHING I would change about it...construction and decor is clean and modern, every casita is positioned for privacy, hiking trails, common area pavilion, SO much more! Every night we sat on the beautiful porch of our casita, fire burning in the outdoor fireplace...and stargazed...I saw seven shooting stars in one night! The combination of high elevation and no competing lights make the stars an amazing sight! Close to multiple distilleries, several small quaint towns, not too far from Austin...the perfect location! You'll have everything you need to whip up a great meal.

There is a separate living area with a smart TV and the entire cabin is connected to high speed WiFi. There's a washer and dryer in the unit, and a covered, furnished front porch with a BBQ grill.

Plus, you'll be located in Dreamland, an entertainment venue offering loads of family-friendly things to do. There are multiple spaces to enjoy all types of live music, and the stage lawn features one of the largest LED screens in the Texas Hill Country. Large performances take place at the lawn stage, which also has lawn games and seating available. The more intimate beer garden is complete with a playground for the kiddos to run around while you sip on your favorite cocktail and enjoy live music, weekly trivia, and daily fun for the whole family. The bar & beer garden features over 50 local favorite and classic beers & ciders as well as a full bar offering all your favorites as well as signature cocktails found only at Dreamland.

Dreamland is home to 16 dedicated pickleball courts (4 of which are covered and located right by our awesome beer garden), dedicated to beginners and professionals alike. Offering open play, lessons, clinics, leagues, and tournaments, each customizable for your specific level and interest. There is a 18-hole Disc Golf Course located on the “back 40”, which is roughly a two mile walk from start to finish through the beautiful Texas hill country. Kids will love the spalsh-zone water playground to cool off from the Texas sunshine. Dreamland also has a gallery of repurposed rainwater collection tanks have been painted by artists from all across the globe. Enjoy a beautiful walk through the Sculpture Garden, displayed throughout both of the mini golf courses (one course is designed with various skill set levels in mind, while the other is more younger-child friendly). Kids under 5 play for free, and look out for happy hour discounts on disc golf and mini golf for the rest of the family.

Dreamland:
Dreamland offers a number of pay-to-play amenities, including mini golf, pickleball, disc golf, a splash pad, a bar, and a kitchen.
Dreamland is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm (until midnight on Friday and Saturday). The kitchen is open from 11 am to 10 pm.

Parking:
You can park up to 2 vehicles in the driveway located in front of the cabin. Please note that the driveway has a partial gravel section; low-clearance vehicles, such as a Corvette, may have difficulty and could bottom out. Additionally, please do not park on the grass areas.

The Neighborhood:
Dreamland is an outdoor entertainment and arts venue that features 16 dedicated Pickleball courses (4 covered, 12 uncovered), two exciting terrain based miniature golf courses, and one state of the art music stage. Dreamland is also an incredible art experience, with large scale sculptures, murals, & mosaics commissioned by some of the world’s top artists. The bar and outdoor family beer garden provide visitors with all around family fun, complete with a children's splash pad & playground, stage for live music, & large picnic tables to relax and enjoy a livestream of your favorite games on our large flatscreen tvs. The full bar features one of the largest 50 self-pour tap walls located in the Texas Hill Country including local beers, ciders, & cocktails.

Getting Around:
Dripping Springs (Drippin’ to the locals) has also become known for unique wineries, breweries and distilleries dotting the beautiful Hill Country, located just 25 minutes west of Austin.

The owners reside on-site in the owner's suite in the main home. At times they will be present on property.

HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please note that this is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. Rural areas like ours may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services, so we recommend enabling ‘WiFi calling’ on your device.

As you may know, it's currently bug season here, and our location is known for its small inhabitants. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage this, and it shouldn't pose a problem during your stay.

We are a short term retreat and only allow for stays up to 7 days in a 30 day period. Extended stays are not available.
