You have absolute privacy but are not completely alone in the woods. This type of vacation is for those who want the most amazing view and privacy but don’t mind sharing the circle driveway, grill and swimming pool.

With three buildings on a private hill, we call this Our Hill Town. We loved visiting some of the beautiful hill towns of Italy and we feel as if we have discovered our own here in Dripping Springs.

We are surrounded by wineries, wedding venues and breweries. You will enjoy a 270 degree view of the hill country! The privacy and views will amaze you.

Bella Vista is on the second floor. It has steps to climb. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and the living room has a sofa sleeper. The tv in the living room has an added blueray/dvd player with various movies to watch. This unit is warm and inviting. A true private get-a-way!

The view is amazing. just how quiet it was. We had wonderful weather and were able to leave the sliding door in the bedroom open. But we absolutely loved how free from road noise this place was. We wanted to be close to the venue for the wedding but a way from the wedding party. Waking up and sitting on the deck in the morning is a great way to start off relaxed for the day. The hosts were extremely easy to communicate with. The details given by them on how to get to and access the property was perfect. The host also asked if we wanted to robes. And these robes were great for a cool morning on the deck. Great place for a nice getaway for a couple or perfect for a family event. This property is fantastic."

The Emma Villa includes a full-sized kitchen, living space with fold out sofa, TV, 1 queen bed, 1 twin trundle bed, sink, & stacking washer/dryer. - This is a smoke-free home, no smoking allowed inside the house.

- This is an allergy-free home, no pets allowed.

- Minimum age of primary renter: 25

- Maximum occupancy is 18 guests.

- A signed rental agreement is required to book this home.

- Photo ID may be required upon check-in.

- Violation of any house rules will result in additional fees and may result in immediate eviction.

- "Our son and his fiance were getting in Driftwood. While we live in Central Texas, we wanted to be closer to the rehearsal and wedding venues. This house was perfect for my husband and me along with four other couples. It was easy to get to all of the places we needed to be for the wedding festivities. The house was very clean, roomy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and we had plenty of room to sit down at the kitchen table. The views outside the back of the house are beautiful! We sat outside under the back porch and at the covered outdoor kitchen and were super comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a clean grill, sink and cooler. We didn't get to use it because we were so busy, but it would have been a lot of fun to hang outside. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub heated quickly. There is a tablet in the kitchen we were asked to use to control the pool and it was easy to follow. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had plenty of plush towels. We had one issue with a shower handle, but Stephanie was quick to respond to our concerns and take care of the issue. The water pressure was also really good. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and if my other children choose Driftwood or Dripping Springs to get married, I will definitely be staying here again."

It got down to 36 degrees so I bought a small electric space heater so we could stay warm. The TV was not working properly so we had to figure out how to get it back on line. All this should have been checked prior to any guest checking in! We were exhausted from hiking and wanted a warm place that we could just relax, this did not happen. The pool was dirty!!"

D6 is the perfect location for small gatherings, intimate weddings, & corporate/special events! Please note, this is for respectful and quiet gatherings only. No events with amplified music, yelling, or disruptive noise allowed. Our grounds are next to our sister retreat, which is a meditation style retreat. Any noise over normal speaking volume would disrupt those guests and is not allowed.

D6 Retreat is located next to a meditation community which offers community yoga classes (see below) and a quiet backdrop for relaxing group gatherings or small weddings (instrumentalists allowed, but amplified music prohibited). - We are a short term retreat and only allow for stays up to 7 days in a 30 day period at any of our managed properties.

If you'd like to book a private yoga, sound bowl or meditation time for your group (extra fee applies), please let us know and we'll help to coordinate with our amazing providers.

Have more than 31? There are glamping cabins at our neighboring retreat that can be rented during your stay as well! That retreat hosts up to an additional 38 guests in our glamping-style cabins.

Standard Features for D6 Villas:
All villas at D6 come standard with full-sized kitchens that include a stainless steel stove, full size refrigerator, stainless steel microwave & double sink. The kitchen is fully stocked for guests with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots & pans, blender, toaster, coffee maker with single serve cup or pot sized options. Guests love the charcoal grilling stations right outside their front doors.

Each villa also has a full sized bath with stand up shower & full sized washer/dryers. Each Villa is fully stocked with plush D6 towels, wash clothes, hand towels & beach towels. Laundry detergent, hair dryer, travel size bath soap, shampoo & conditioner are provided as well. There are extra pillows, throws & comforters as well as an iron & ironing board for guests to use during their stay. Baby beds with sheets & a booster chair are included for all of our guests traveling with families.

Guests can also enjoy boxed games, a deck of cards & vintage books during their stay.

High-speed AT&T internet is free for all guests & WI-FI is available. The TV has Amazon Fire Stick installed for access to your favorite streaming services. All cabins have a flat panel TV. There is cell phone reception coverage over 99% of D6 Retreat.

D6 shares land with it's sister retreat that offers meditation, a cafe, and gift market. 18 glamping cabins can also be added to your stay for additional guests.

Our retreat features a wet weather creek, primitive hiking trails, & a 10 acre private wildlife preserve with deer & beautiful birds of all kinds.

There is a jungle gym for kids & many guests love to grab s'mores bag from our cafe next door and head to the fire pit for a memorable nightly snack.

Our 12,000 gallon negative edge pool makes for a great escape during the hot summer days in Texas. Make a splash or lounge nearby in one of our lounge chairs or under the shade of our covered arbors. Hammocks & benches are also situated around the property to help guests relax & enjoy the views! In winter, cold plunges welcome if done responsibly and safely! We 100% support the benefits of the cold for healing and wellness!

There are outdoor park grills, jungle gym, fire pits & picnic tables in our community area as well.

Leashed pets are always welcome at D6! We have a pet station for guests to use that is located in our community area.

This listing is only for lodging. For events that will include outside vendors, rentals, or additional day guests, please contact us directly. These events are assigned to our event coordinator and quoted based on the details of each event. Upon booking, you'll be sent a full set of guidelines for your stay at the retreat. If you don't feel you'll able to adhere to these, we can arrange for a full refund if it's within 24 hours of you receiving those rental guidelines. A Full Retreat Agreement is required to be signed.

It's probably best to have a car, but Uber/Lyft come out here as well!

Retreat Peace Agreements:
In order to provide a relaxed space, we ask that all guests make the following agreements while on this peaceful retreat:

• I will honor the peace and quiet of this space.
• I will speak at a level that's respectful to the peace of those around me in the community during my time here.
• I will not play amplified music which could disrupt other guests.
• I will honor noble silence after 10PM until 8AM.
• I will be respectful to all staff, community, and guests.
• I will honor the sacred nature spaces on this land and leave the space better than I found it. I will help conserve the land. I will not litter nor remove/move any of our intentionally placed items from the sacred forest space.
• I will help the staff by replacing anything I rearranged during my stay such as furniture or outdoor chairs. I will not remove furniture from the common area for my own private use. This includes grills, chairs, and furniture.
• I will never leave fires unattended and will place them out completely. I will not burn fires if there is a burn ban in place for Hays County.
• I will use the common areas with respect to other guests and not leave my personal belongings in any common areas.
• Our entire property is a smoke-free space.
• All visitors must be registered with us prior to arrival. Check-in is at 3PM. Check-out is at 10AM.
