- "This is a recently developed set of suites located near the Homestead Heritage community near Waco TX. Our suite overlooked a beautiful pasture with grazing sheep and a beautiful deck. The suite is a few minutes walk from fantastic dining and craft shops including pottery, metal working, weaving, basketry and fine gift shops. The details of the suite were perfect, including a large copper tub, king sized beds and a loft with bunk beds. Skweeeky cleeeen and fresh! Likely, this was the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. I'm sure you will enjoy it too."

- "Beautiful, Clean, Quiet, Peaceful. Located inside Heritage… everything is within walking distance. The chocolate is fantastic, some of the best I’ve ever had. And I worked in a chocolate shop in the West Village in NYC. While a full Kitchen is in the suite no oils or spices are available. However there is a fantastic market within walking distance it’s like a super tiny Whole Foods. The Green Brisket Enchiladas @ the Cafe are delicious. Be sure to Grab some of the Tiger Butter it’s at most of the shops (you really only need a spoon but you could put it on toast.) I highly recommend visiting the Luxury Haven. It’s close enough to any thing in Waco you’d like to see or do. The host are kind, responsive, and have truly built a perfect getaway. If you happen to be there on a Saturday be sure to make it to the Heritage Market. The food and crafts are the best quality I’ve ever encountered at a market. This place overall is Absolutely Amazing!"

- "Our stay here was absolutely perfect! It’s a perfect stay for a family of 4! We loved the location, it’s peaceful, quiet and pretty! There’s so much to do around there too, we ate at Homestead Cafe (it’s literally across the street) for dinner one night and the food was delicious (try the spinach dip with chips), farmers market is on Saturdays, there’s a general store down the street, we ate at Waco waffle & co and that was so delicious too!! The house was very clean and had everything we needed! Did I mention you’ll be staying at a chocolate factory! Heritage Craft Chocolate factory and shoppe (It’s in the works right now but how cool!) they did leave us samples on the table and oh my! So delicious! You can buy some at Homestead Cafe or the General store! Communication with the host was great, if I had any questions Billy or Derick were quick to answer and were very friendly! They sure made our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this place!! We can’t wait to go back and stay again!!"

Aside from enjoying all that Waco had to offer, we spent a lot of time at Uptown Peach because it was perfect. These bright and colorful accommodations were immaculate and had everything you needed, and the common courtyard was delightful. There was a coffee/beer bar (Pinewood) just around the corner that was a treasure and a healthy restaurant (Harvest on 25th) up the street was delish.
