Built on a custom-made trailer, it boasts oak flooring, solid maple countertops, custom kitchen cabinets and handwoven Roman shades. The bathroom sports a full-size tile shower stall and a waterless toilet.

The insulated vinyl windows are all casement-style allowing for full ventilation even with their small size. The concealed fastener metal roof completes the outside of this spectacular tiny home and will last for decades.

A propane tankless hot water heater, minisplit air conditioner with heat pump, catalytic propane heater and washing machine hookups complete the utilities on this functional home. Kitchen appliances include a propane range/oven and an efficient electric refrigerator/freezer.

This loft overlooks an avenue in the heart of the city`s shopping and entertainment district so noise may be heard inside the living room. The bedroom is interior and very quiet with the door closed. A white noise machine is available in the unit, if needed. The Tuna Loft is a bit larger than my other one bedroom lofts, the Retro and Urban Cowboy however I do find that if 3 or 4 adults are sharing the room you might find the Retro or Urban Cowboy better suited due to noise considerations in the living area, especially Thursday- Saturday. Even so this is not terrible and people have not mentioned this. I am just being particular!

If more space is needed, consider the Magnolia Loft, 2/2 sleeps 6, or Bo Ho Loft, 2/2 sleeps 4 with privacy. The first floor Stained Glass Loft 3/2, sleeps 8.

Property is a one bedroom apartment on the lower level of owner occupied home with private access, contactless entry, and free covered parking. The large bedroom has a queen bed and an attached full bath with stand up shower and can be closed off from the living space. There is a wet bar with a mini frig and keurig. (I provide a few pods but you may want to pack your favorites). The living room has a dining table for 6, a big screen tv, recliner, small sofa that makes into a queen bed, full size washer and dryer, and a PING PONG table! There is a queen air mattress, hair dryer, iron/board, small ice chest, some toys for toddlers, a usb charger, plus a portable fan and space heater available for your use. Towels and mini shampoo/conditioner/body wash are also provided.

- "House was nice, clean, and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Didn’t use the bikes, kayaks, or fire pit due to weather, but they all looked to be in great condition and safety gear was on hand as well. Quality linens and bedding were provided and the shower is huge. Incredibly convenient location, very close to almost everything you’ll want to do in Waco. The fixtures, countertops, applicances, etc are all very nice. The bed and the couch are comfortable. Nice smart tvs in both rooms, free Wi-Fi, and remote controls for fans/ac. Large porch on the front with an area to sit. Nice blinds if you want to sleep in. All of the dishes/silverware are in great shape too. The listing euphemistically states that”the area is currently undergoing revitalization”. That’s a kind way of saying that the neighborhood isn’t great.(which is still being generous). The property sits up against what I assume is a mechanical shop. However the house is well renovated and we were not disturbed by any noise, from that or just street traffic. We still felt safe and secure due to the fence, gated parking, and cameras. I highly recommend this property and would book again if we return to the area."

The Waco Rose Loft is our newest loft at the Green Door Lofts. The loft is toward the back and slightly removed from the pool. Because of its location and lack of a wall mounted murphy bed I have priced this unit a bit lower than the other one bedroom lofts. It is still though extremely nice and very quiet.

The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed with high quality, pressed, triple-sheeted linens. Unlike our other 1-bedroom lofts, there is no Murphy bed in the living area. There is a sofa that converts into a day bed but at best can hold one small person or child. If more space is needed, consider our bigger 1-bedroom lofts (Tuna, Retro, or Urban Cowboy), the Magnolia Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), Bo Ho Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), or the Stained Glass Loft (4/3, sleeps 8).

Green Door Lofts gets its name from the famous green door that welcomes residents into the courtyard. The green door is also referred to locally as the Hobbit Door. Immediately next door to the Hippodrome theater, the door serves as a backdrop for visitors on the street stopping and posing for selfies. However, I do find that if 3 adults are sharing the room you might find the Retro or Urban Cowboy better suited due to noise considerations in the living area, especially Thursday- Saturday. Even so this is not terrible and people have not mentioned this. I am just being particular!

Please note this property is strictly a Non Smoking residence with no smoking, tobacco, vaping, or marijuana permitted inside the property. Any guest found not adhering to this rule will be issued a $500.00 fee without question, plus the cost of removing any smoke residue or damage to the property.

No Illicit Drugs or Activities:
Strictly no illicit drugs or activities permitted on the property.

Cleaning:
We simply ask that you respect our property as you would for a close friend or family member by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout your stay. If the property is left excessively dirty and it is clear there was no effort to straighten up and leave the property in a reasonable condition, extra cleaning charges may apply.

Infant & Children Supervision:
Be aware that the kitchen and bathroom cupboards contain cleaning products, such as antibacterial sprays, washing powder/singles, etc. and there are no child safety locks on these cupboards so supervision of children is essential.

Trash:
A 13-gal rubbish bin is provided in each unit as well as rubbish bags under the kitchen sink. Large garbage bins are found in the parking lot to dispose of trash. Trash valet will pick up garbage from outside the apartment door Sunday - Thursday starting at 8:00 PM. 13-Gal trash bag must be tied and left inside trash bin. If more than 1 bag, it must be tied and place on top of trash bin. Flatten any boxes before placing outside. Trash may be placed outside the apartment door between 6:00PM - 7:50 PM. Trash bin must be brought back into apartment no later than 9:00AM. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in a $50.00 charge per infraction.

Broken or Stolen Property:
Guests will be responsible for any damaged or stolen property, as well as any loss incurred during the term of your occupancy. These are to be reported as soon as it occurs and replaced and/or paid for.

Inspections:
The host can make an inspection of the premises upon demand.

Lost & Forgotten Items:
Before checking out, please do a thorough sweep of the property to ensure you are not leaving any personal items behind. Host is not responsible for and cannot guarantee any items left in the property will be found and returned to you.

Freshly renovated in 2021, I purchased this home to be MY HOME and to home my Airbnb Guests. Currently, I own 3 duplexs that I Airbnb or rent traditionally.
My neighborhood is diverse and I have good neighbors who know I do Airbnb at my home. Quiet neighborhood! I am centrally located to all the sights of Waco. It is less than 10 minutes from Extracto Event Center and only 10 minutes to the Silos, Magnolia Table, Zoo, Baylor, Austin Street, etc.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils and pans, dishes, and silverware for preparing and cooking meals on an electric stovetop. There is NOT a dishwasher. There is a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, and microwave to make yourself a quick meal. The dining area seats four. Since Covid, I followed the social distancing and provided self-check-in. I also follow sanitizing recommendations by Airbnb.

This Airbnb unit rental is a one-bedroom, one-bath home for up to two adults. The bedroom has a designated clothes rack, box fan, and plenty of room to move around; the bedroom has a lock on the door for privacy.

Your bathroom is in the hall and adjacent to the full laundry space.

There is a one-car parking spot and additional guest parking in the street. The front door will have a keypad and code for keyless entry. On the day of your booking, I will send you your code.

There is Wi-Fi, and YouTube TV, and a desk in the bedroom for private a working area as needed.

There is a front unit attached to the house with its own separate entrance. Again you have a private space; no shared spaces. The front unit and yard are for our other Airbnb guests in unit A.

The home has a Nest AC thermostat. The thermostat is programmed to stay at 70 degrees or above. There are fans available in each room.

Our building was constructed in 1963 and has been "fixed up" with all new paint (inside and out) new flooring and vintage and modern decor. Very Waco. Enjoy the eclectic, private space from which you can easily enjoy all that Waco has to offer. Magnolia Silos and downtown Waco are 1.5 miles, Harp Designs is only a block away Baylor is 2.1 miles from the apartment. Magnolia Table is 2.1 miles. Enjoy your visit!

Welcome to Waco. Waco is truly a fixer up town. It’s not rare to see a home totally renovated next to one that may need “lots of love.” However don’t let that sway you. The whole city is on its way to becoming a really cool and renovated town. As with most of Texas, it’s safe and you’ll have your privacy.

We are in the country so it’s also not rare to see or hear chickens, roosters, cats or dogs. My neighbor has dogs that have barked at squirrels. Sometimes they are loud but we have sound machines in the room. That’s what makes it a truly special place. We’re in the country y’all!

We do have central AC in the house that we keep AC set to 72 degrees to make sure the system does not malfunction. Please only book if you are ok with this.

Please also note that there are train tracks near by that goes through all of waco.

PLEASE NOTE: Bathrooms are in the bedrooms and you can hear some noise from neighbors during the day before quiet hours. If this will negatively affect your stay, please book elsewhere.

Other things to note
For your safety and peace of mind there are cameras outside the building and in the hallways. Also, since your downtown there will be some street noise and light at night. There is also a train the runs through Waco so if you are a really light sleeper this might not be your best spot. It didn't bother my wife and I when we lived here but we always want to be transparent about things that could detract from your stay.

The space
The Bagby is an apartment inside of our small gated community, centrally located right near everything you want to do in a safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Keep in mind this is not the typical university-neighborhood. Baylor students are very friendly also, very respectful and quiet during the day or at night. What makes the Baylor Bubble safe is the Baylor Police and Waco Police driving around the neighborhood at all times.

The Bagby is a wonderful place to explore Waco from and, to relax and rest your head from those exciting activities you experienced during the day. Also, our 24/7 outdoor security cameras give you comfort during your stay.

Directly across the street, we have Council Acres Park with a playground and a basketball court. Our neighborhood has plenty of options for dining within walking distance. Or, for coffee, the local cafe called Common Grounds (Baylor student's favorite spot) is about 15-minute walk.

Two blocks from our place we have Freight Bar Waco, a great place to enjoy a beer or drinks also, this is a family-friendly bar
