It does seem to be a run-down neighborhood, but the neighbors were friendly when we saw them outside, and we never saw any late-night activity. The neighbors were quiet at night, but the train that passes through a few times during the night is a different story. We could hear it more from the front bedroom vs the back bedroom. We ended up buying small fans to run in the bedrooms at night to drown out some of the noise. I would recommend that the hostess have these available for this reason. Tania was a great hostess and was great at communicating with us. I would consider staying here again if I ever return to the area. Another diamond in the rough is the Fiesta Bakery that's fairly close by. Delicious cinnamon rolls!! Again, don't be fooled by the outside. Great staff and great food. Thanks for a great trip!"

All the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. There is a futon sofa bed in the pool house entertainment room, which is on the 1st floor. If needed, hosts are ready to set up additional air mattress.

- "My family and I booked this house to attend my cousins baby shower that was 15 mins away. Location was good and area had lots of restaurants and grocery stores not too far away. The house was like the pictures, though I wish the renovations inside were a bit more complete, because some things looked like they were bootlegged. There were plenty of pillows and blankets. The amenities were great being that we had kids and they really enjoyed the fire pit and games in the backyard. We weren’t able to experience the pool because the weather was a bit chilly at night. Parking was good with access to the garage. Wished the garage openers were working because that would have made it easier to get in and out. Response time was quick with owner and they were very accommodating with our request. Would book again with them in the future."

The Villa By The Riverwalk front office/'gift shop offers cold refreshments like sodas, fruit juices, fresh floral arrangements, gifts, jazz memorabilia, Texas souvenirs and vintage antiques from the United States, the United Kingdom and Portugal. If you are here on business and your spouse is looking for something to do that is fun and educational we have a floral school on the premises and can offer personal floral arranging classes while you’re on business.

La Villa by The Riverwalk's Veranda is where you can sip a glass of your favorite wine while waiting for your food order to arrive or while waiting for your LYFT, Uber or Taxicab drivers to pick you up.

La Villa By The Rivrewalk offers you four main rooms. The living room/office area which has a large 72 inch TV/Movie screen and includes a DVD/Blue Ray player and free access to Netflix and Pandora. Later under pavilion #2 you can enjoy a cool or warm dip in our Jacuzzi/Spa and relax alone or with that special someone. The spa area is decorated with colorful tropical fish and craps to give you a festive tropical feel. Or you can surprise that special someone for an anniversary or birthday present and let us set up a private concert where you can invite up to 15 of your close family members and personal friends. Personal concerts cost range depending on the musical artist you want us to obtain and the elaboration of setup required for each concert. We can acquire local, regional and even international Grammy and Emmy Award winning musical artists. We arrange all contracts and riders and we can also arrange for tables, chairs and catering if needed for your private concert.

A cute romantic villa includes four TV's with Blu-ray players, a complete kitchen including a gas stove, full cooking utensils, beer, margarita and wine glasses, a washer and dryer, a private courtyard including luscious gardens, an outdoor Bluetooth sound system, a private spa, a private fire-pit set in a romantic intimate area, a large barbecue grill for Texas style grillen, outdoor corn-hole, dart board, horseshoe and tic-tact-toe game sets available to our guests during their stay.

The property is overpriced due to the proximity to the River Walk. Too many items in the house made it hard to keep track of your own items." - "This was our first time booking with Verbo instead of our usual air b&b. My husband booked our stay for Tuesday through Friday for our anniversary. Check in is at 4pm, property manager showed up at 7 to unlock the property, he kept insisting that our stay was to start on Friday. We received a mold bottle of red wine for our inconvenience. Upon entering my husband stated that it looks like a party had occurred recently, the backyard was filled with trash & clutter, we had to wait for the manager to make the bed up, and his information about the property was insufficient. Returning to the property the first night after a late dinner we were surprised that the manager was still on the property, after a long day we were ready to get cleaned up and go to bed. Unfortunately, we discovered that the bathroom had not been cleaned that chore became our responsibility. Our major disappointment was realizing that the property manager was there the entire duration of our stay. We found this to be very creepy and I personally felt like we were being watched. A short list of disappointments: given a bundle of keys without labels, dirty property inside and out, a quarter of the jets worked in the jacuzzi, I had to locate a suitable cleaner for the porcelain tub. As you enter our property you will be surrounded by tall trees that offer a forest like feel and provide shade and privacy. The scenery will fill you with peace and harmony as you enjoy the fresh outdoor air and even spot some deer. In beginning of may 2024 we are adding a barrel sauna to boost your relaxation and make your trip feel even more like a vacation!

This is a spacious 5 bedroom home with a living room, a loft area and outdoor accommodations.

The house accommodates up to 20 guests.

The master bedroom with a king bed is on the first floor and has attached bathroom.

There is a second bedroom on the first floor with a queen bed. There is one fu bathroom next to this room. But not attached.

The third bedroom is upstairs and features a king bed. The full bathroom is next to it but not attached.

The fourth bedroom is upstairs features 2 bunk beds with full sized mattresses. This bedroom has an attached bathroom.

The fifth bedroom is upstairs, has 2 king beds and attached bathroom.

This beautiful home offers a large kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils.
If you love to cook there are pots and pans ready for you to showcase your Gordon Ramsay skills.

The outdoor patio has a large table that seats 12. You can enjoy a good meal on the barbecue or roast marshmallows by the fire pit or relax your mind by playing pin pong or other fun outdoor activities.

You can have a fun day at Six Flags which is only 20 minutes away or you can enjoy the beautiful city of Fredericksburg. This city is known for its juicy peaches and beautiful wineries. You can bring your family peach picking or wine tasting.
If it is too hot and you feel the need to cool off there is a town pool that only costs 5$ per admission.
