The concierge contacted us to confirm our reservation as opposed to a computer generated email. I let him know this was a milestone birthday for my husband and when we returned to the room our second night we found a bottle of champagne, a real bday card signed by several staff members and a delicious piece of chocolate cake. Room service that we had set up the day called to let us know they would be late (but only by ten minutes; this was Jan1st and the hotel was pretty full. Every staff member very respectful. Loved our two nights here."
