Smelled old in the home. Wall fixtures that should have been on wall stuffed in laundry room. Felt afraid to leave vehicle parked out front but could walk out of master and look straight out front door large window to see and if someone had been on the porch they could have looked right back at me with no problem. The home was very neat, the shower was beautiful in the master, but this home was not clean, attention to detail was not enforced, and communication during the stay with owners was a struggle. I called the number on the email to let them know that we don’t smoke, none of those items belonged to us, and there was no mirror like that in our unit. Spoke to “Jen” who said she couldn’t help me and that I needed to respond to the email. 3 emails and 2 phone calls later, still no response. I finally called the credit card company to make a formal dispute. This company can not be trusted. "

The apartment looked remodeled and was cleanly looking (except for the bed bugs or fleas). the utensils were dollar store quality and they did not even have 1 real knife only butter knives. only provided 1 extra garbage bag for a 4 night stay?? i am not a complainer so the trip was a success in my eyes, i did not want a back and forth battle."

- "The house was impressive on the outside when we arrived. Once inside, the initial impression was good. As we checked things out, though, we found some things that we were not happy with. The fan in Master bedroom did not work. The remote control had corroded batteries in it. I did find a new battery in a drawer and tried to make it work, but it never did. The floor in Bath 2 was very soft and sunken right in front of the bathtub and there was a gap between the bathtub and the floor. We did not feel safe using that bathtub. We had 5 people and there were only 6 towels left and no washcloths. I did reach out and was told they would be brought the next morning. They were not. We went out to purchase some for our stay. There were no dish towels. One of the requirements was for us to wash the dishes but we had to use paper towels to do so. The couch kept separating and was missing a back cushion. For a house that could sleep 12, there should have been more comfy seating for more people. It was cramped for 5 people to sit on the couch especially when we had to keep pushing the two pieces back together. We did like the security of the locked gate. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The place is decorated very cute! Very spacious, we never did feel cramped while we were there. Overall it was a good stay. None of these things were earth shattering and could be rectified but they were just a bit annoying at the time. "

** Complementary items policy

We'll provide complimentary items during your stay including, but not limited to:

Wifi access, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, coffee filters, cooking oil, spices, paper napkins, paper towels, shampoo, hair conditioner, fan, heater, blankets, extra linens, and extra pillows.

All these items are considered complementary, do not have an extra cost for you, and are subject to availability.

If a listing runs out of one of the items on the list, please let us know about it. In the interim time, you might get your favorite brand from the nearby convenience store. We'll try to refill the product as soon as possible, but this does not guarantee that the complementary item will be restocked during your stay.


** Essential amenities policy

Airbnb requires all hosts to provide essential amenities to each listing. These are the basic items that a guest expects in order to have a comfortable stay.

These include:
Toilet paper, soap (for hands and body), one towel per guest, one pillow per guest, and linens for each guest bed.

All these items will be available in your listing, and if you run out of them you'll be able to get more from the storage closet at the house.


** Refund policy

We strongly believe that no one should stay in a place where they are not completely satisfied.

If you feel that our listing is not what you are looking for, we encourage you to cancel your reservation and we will refund the payment Airbnb has made to us according to our Satisfaction Guarantee.

If you do not cancel the reservation and decide to continue staying at the listing, you do it at your own risk and you understand and accept that there won't be any refund other than the ones listed under Airbnb's Guest Refund Policy, please refer to the Refund policy included in the House Rules.

Our apartment offers easy access to San Antonio’s most popular attractions; The Alamo, River Walk, go to a concert at the Alamodome, attend Sea World or discover local dining and shopping—all just a short drive away.

You’ll have the unit to yourself, including a dedicated parking spot right on the property. The shared laundry area is also available for your convenience. We also offer longer term stays at a discount. But we do require a once a month cleaning if staying longer than a month.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. It has everything you need to live comfortably while transitioning into your new chapter in life. Newly remodeled and ready for your new adventures in San Antonio. The room is located on the second floor. This is a really great location if you are a traveling nurse or professional. Please ask questions if needed. I do have laundry facilities located in the first floor as well a a main kitchen. Both are common areas.

Guest access
You will be the only one that has access to your room. You may come and go as you please. At the moment I’m not accepting pets. Room is brand new. I have pets but I have no trouble moving to my other home downtown if they are a bother.

The space
Complete remodel/restoration/modernization of a classic apartment building with 4single bedroom units, each with its own separate bathroom, living area, laundry, and kitchen. All modern appliances, tankless water heater, air conditioning and heating units, TVs, are new.

Each unit has internet and Wifi connectivity for your convenience.

Guest access
Each separate apartment is self contained with complete access to all living areas. The upstairs units have a small balcony/deck area.

Each unit has a front and rear entrance. The rear entrances are individual and are easily accessed by the covered parking in the back. Each unit has 1 assigned parking space. The front of the building has a single entrance leading to the individual front entrances to each unit.

Other things to note
Apartments are close to downtown and river-walk area and attractions. 5-8 minutes, depending on traffic.

To get to the apartments from Downtown San Antonio, take I 37 south approximately 1 mile and take I 10 east to Houston. Take the first exit (Pine) and turn right. Schley is 6 or 7 blocks down, turn left on Schley. The apartment building is on the left about a block and a half down. Take the drive at the side of the building to the back to the covered parking area and pull in to the spot assigned to your apartment number. The apartments are easily accessed from the back.

All utilities are included as well as internet (wifi) and trash service too!!! If you want to stay long-term, this is a great deal!

Welcome to your private studio apartment (Apartment 5). This is the newly painted house beside the gate. To enter the apartment, walk your way inside the main gate. On your right, there is a yellow door with the number 5 on it.

Parking space is available inside. Don't park beside the house, this area should be clear all the time to give way to the car from going in and out of the carport. Strictly one car per reservation only.

It’s just like when you check in at a hotel and give your ID and security deposit to the front desk, except our front desk is online! It's super easy to complete on your phone (no app needed)! We use a web-based system called Happy Guest to complete our special, local compliance rental agreement, ID verification, and your choice between a $39 damage waiver (for stays up to 10 nights + $2 for each additional night) or a $1000 security hold (which is not a security deposit).
