I had terrible communication problems. There are a few inaccuracies in the listing. The most important: 1. This is STUDENT housing. This isn't obvious from the photos. We got 2 bedrooms and the other two were blocked off. 2. Parking is NOT included. It's $80 per month across the street. Automated turn in of keys after the stay was not included. The phone number for the "host", which was not the same as the on-site property office, was an international UK number. I called anyway, because there was no WIFI instructions or parking instructions. The person who answered said that someone would come by and drop off "marketing material" with those details. That never happened. I never got a checkout procedure, yet, the on-site property rental office was kind enough to take the key from me. The "reply" button their emails led to a login-screen for Expedia, yet, after logging in, no obvious way to send a message. That literally the only reason I'm leaving a review. Overall, it met our needs and I would stay there again. "

The Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy railroad system recognized the potential of Havelock, establishing Havelock as a hub for travelers & shipping. This heritage finds its way into the decor of Havelock House, with train-inspired design that blends with modern upgrades to make the home a unique retreat.
You will be on the main floor in a private apartment, boasting 1,600 sq. ft. of comfort: 3 private bedrooms, a queen, king & full-size bed. For added flexibility, a couch offers extra sleeping space.
There are 2 entrances equipped with secure, keyless locks for convenience & safety. The same code will work for both doors, providing seamless entry. One is located on the north side, leading to the front yard and parking, while the other is on the east side of the house. The rear (east) entry door provides access to both the basement & main floor apartments. The basement is a private residence & once inside the house, separate coded entry doors ensure privacy for each apartment.
Enjoying the porch in the evenings is delightful, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the area. The front porch offers a perfect setting to appreciate Nebraska's charm. While the backyard is fully fenced with 2 gates, a concrete patio with an awning, a table with chairs, and free-standing swing. Additional features include a freestanding hammock, antique swing, chair tree swing under a Hackberry tree, a picnic table & compost bin.
No pets.
There is a garden in the backyard & herbs planted all about. Feel free to cut some herbs or pick some fresh vegetables when they are in season. A Bolo toss (ladder game) is available for use. If you're interested in other outdoor games, just let me know, & I’ll happily bring additional options to the house.
There are 4 cameras on the property. One on the front porch, facing the driveway. Another at the rear entry stairwell. The remaining 2 are positioned at the front & back of the garage, overseeing the parking areas.
There is ample parking available on the west side & to the south, near the alley. Please note that clearly marked spots are reserved for the basement tenants. Avoid parking in their designated spaces or obstructing their vehicles. If you plan to use the west gate of the fenced yard, you will need to unlatch it from the inside.
The sunporch houses a breakfast nook that can double as a spot for games or basking in the sunlight. A washer/dryer are located here for your use. Additionally, picnic supplies & outdoor dishes are on the shelf next to the games, making it easy to enjoy outdoor meals.
Children are welcome but the house is not childproof. As such, guests with children are encouraged to bring any necessary safety items or precautions to ensure a worry-free stay. The open layout & eclectic decorations may captivate young ones but could also present challenges without proper supervision.
There is no smoking or vaping in the home. You may sit on the porch or in the patio area & smoke. Clean up your butts! The patio features comfortable seating arrangements, perfect for unwinding with a book, engaging in conversation, or sipping a beverage.

Two-bedroom, one-bathroom loft apartment on a country estate, with a separate, full kitchen and living area, outside Ashland, Nebraska. Minutes to Lincoln and Omaha. Property is home to rescue animals, wildlife, and just minutes away from the Simmons wildlife safari, Mahoney and Platte River State Parks, SAC Air Museum, Gretna Outlet Malls, and a couple of miles from Ashland. Come spend a week with Kiwi the pig, turkeys, ducks, donkeys, goats, and other rescue animals on three acres in the country. Listen to coyotes howl at night, see stars you didn't know existed, and breathe the fresh air.

Suite 1-B has a mini kitchen with a mini frig, coffee pot, microwave, dishes, etc....also a table and chairs are adjacent to the kitchen area. This is a very quaint and comfortable Suite! It can accommodate up to 2 guests with a comfortable queen bed! The home is located in the heart of The Historic College View Neighborhood @ 40th & Prescott Avenue. This buzzing area offers shopping, The Mill Coffee House, a bakery, salons, bike paths, a Farmers Market on Sundays and more... Sisley Inn is the perfect getaway destination!

*The Outdoor areas include a large patio with a table and chairs, plantings and a spacious yard. The House also has a wonderful covered front porch that overlooks the vast College View campus and the bustling activity of the local shoppers, students and merchants. Suite 1-B has an attached small deck with a table and chairs for two, plantings and also the same view as previously described. The house is secluded and "tucked back" off of the main street of 48th and it is also sheltered by quiet merchants next door. It feels very private in a very comfortable setting!

Located in the historic Clark-Leonard House (circa 1887), in the Near South Neighborhood, 7 blocks from the Capitol and a mile from downtown Lincoln, this delightful 2nd floor apartment offers a comfortable stay for guests. There are other apartments on the property and in the house, however this is the only short-term rental. The main room has a queen bed, and the sunroom has a 2nd queen size bed. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination, and amenities - hairdryer, shampoo, and other toiletries. The unit has a new mini-split A/C heat pump in the main room and smaller a/c heat pump in the second room, Wi-Fi, Roku smart TV, a small kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, a hot plate, glasses, cups, dishes and flatware. A washing machine & dryer are available just outside the unit on the same level. There is a pool table on the first floor where you enter, and you are welcome to play pool. The yard is available to you, with tables, chairs, flowers, and a fountain to enjoy. Pets need to be on a leash at all times. We could work something out with the dog area. Welcome to Salt Creek Atelier, the spacious, light filled loft perched above Salt Creek Mercantile in historic downtown Ashland, Ne. Designed with a mix of new, upscale furnishings, antique furniture and accessories, and art-lined walls, S.C. Atelier is sure to provide you and your guests with a luxuriously cozy small town stay.

The space features high ceilings, over a dozen large windows, original century-old wood floors and a completely open concept design. Our French cottage inspired kitchen features an Ilve range, a vintage style refrigerator, an antique farm sink, a large prep island, and all the smaller appliances, cookware and serveware you need to stay in and host. A large farm table capable of seating 8 sits between the kitchen and living room.

The Atelier features a primary suite with queen bed, and a large en suite marble bathroom featuring a custom walk-in shower, clawfoot tub, double sinks, and complementary robes to use during your stay.

In addition to our primary suite, two other bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other with two twins, all feature European linen bedding, plenty of pillows, antique dressers, and ceiling fans to stay cool while you slumber. Each room also has a luggage holder for quick stays and low light sound machines to help you fall asleep to soothing sounds.

Just inside the entryway is a second full bathroom and a washer dryer closet with all the needed supplies, including iron and ironing board if needed.

The living room features ample cozy seating with two long leather couches and accent chairs, perfect for watching movies and relaxing, a round vintage game table stocked with classic games and seating for 4 people, a record player, and an office space just around the corner, perfect for getting a bit of work in during your stay.

Just outside is shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and a selection of bars, ranging from wineries to breweries, making this location a perfect spot to meet up with friends or family, or to simply have a staycation and relax.

The Atelier is located on the second floor and there is tall flight of stairs to get to it. There is an elevator for the property, but we ask that it only be used for those unable to use the stairs. Guests must message us before their stay to request access to the keys. *The elevator door opens to 32” wide and may not be compatible with all wheelchairs.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
-There is no smoking allowed in the Atelier. -No guests 18 or under may be left alone without an adult present. -The correct amount of overnight guests must be selected during booking. Our cleaning fee is a base rate for 2 GUESTS ONLY. There is a small fee per night for additional guests to accommodate the additional cleaning requirements/time after checkout. The shopkeepers of Salt Creek Mercantile are also the cleaning crew for the Atelier and given our small staff, typically only one of us is assigned to clean the entire space after checkout. We are extremely detail oriented and keep the space immaculate for our guests, but please understand this takes time, even for a two person stay. For this reason, unregistered guests are strictly prohibited. Thank you for your understanding!

-Our guests are allowed to host up to 8 people in the space total (including the registered guests) but non-registered guests must leave by 10:00pm. No exceptions.
-In certain circumstances, we can accommodate up to 8 overnight total guests. These reservations must be done manually, so please send us a message if interested.
-There is no dishwasher in the Atelier. We like to think the best conversations happen while washing up!

-The Atelier is a shoes-free space. Please leave footwear in the entryway.

-We kindly ask that all meals and foods that could stain (think red wine, tomato sauce etc) be enjoyed at the dining table. We want you to enjoy your stay though, so please enjoy light snacks and drinks anywhere else in the space!

When you walk in you are in the dinning room, living room and kitchen with lots of natural light. There is a powder room on the main floor. Upstairs is the lofted bedroom with a king bed, den with a full bed and 2nd bedroom with a full bed. Two full bathrooms and laundry are located upstairs.

We are located in the heart of Lincoln with a quick 10-15 minute drive to downtown. We are also close to the country club golf course and South Pointe Shopping district.

Getting Around:
Please park on the right side of the driveway. Our driveway can fit 2 vehicles on the right side and if there are additional vehicles, there is off-street parking.

Other Things to Note:
This is the basement of the house, so we can’t guarantee completely silence from the guests above. You will probably hear steps and people talking. So, please be aware of it before you book the place. If you think this could be an issue please check our other listings.

The Space:

This apartment has a queen size bed in two of the bedrooms and a full size bed in the other two. There is no parking included with this stay, but there is limited metered parking in the area, as well as several different paid parking lots close by.

As a heads up, the building sits close to a few busy roads, so it's possible that you may hear some sounds from vehicle traffic during your stay. Our property is also home to local University of Nebraska students, and our Husker neighbors can sometimes get excited during game days and other special events. We don't expect this to be an issue during your stay but always want to set proper expectations for our guests!

Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. We do not provide any tv cable or streaming services. However, we do offer Smart TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to log into the apps with your own log in and enjoy!

A note about dogs ($75 fee, only dogs are allowed): We welcome your furry friend to join you during your stay, as long as the following rules are followed. Failure to abide by these will result in additional fees and possible eviction without refund: Breed Restrictions: No Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Chows, German Shepherds, or mixes of these breeds. Weight Restriction: No dogs over 50 lbs. Age Restriction: Minimum 6 months old. Other Restrictions: Must be on a leash at all times, no exceptions. If left alone in the apartment, they must be in a kennel/cage at all times. Please be a good neighbor and pick up after your furry friend at all times.

The pool and gym are available to our guests but you may not invite anyone other than those staying with you to use them. Since we do not control these parts of the building, no refunds or credits will be made to reservations if these amenities are not available; whether for routine maintenance, closure for the season, or any other issue. You can access the building anytime after 4pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. This suite is situated near the historic Haymarket Square and West Campus. This location provides walkability to most major academic and entertainment areas. Lincoln is home to a wealth of museums and cultural attractions like The University of Nebraska State Museum, The Sunken Gardens, and The Museum of American Speed, plus so much more. The city has an active and vibrant atmosphere. Are you into sports? Memorial Stadium is a short walk away. Is food your thing? Hit local favorites like The Green Gateau, Vincenzo’s Ristorante, Lazlo’s Brewery and Grill - just a few of the many eateries to choose from during your stay. There will be no shortage of things to do while you make your way through Lincoln, Nebraska.

Getting Around:
StarTran is the mass transit system in Lincoln. Buses provide transportation to destinations throughout the city and the outlying area as well. Your best bet for getting around is by car. Having your own car gives you the freedom to travel where you want and when you want. BikeLNK is Lincoln's bike share program, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to rent a bike or a pedal-assist electric bike to travel throughout the city. Bike rentals are also available from the UNL Outdoor Adventures Bike Shop on a daily, weekend, weekly and semester long basis. Choose from single speed bikes, mountain bikes, and touring road bikes. Whether you prefer to use the Bus, rideshare through Lyft or Uber or rent a bike to get around town, you'll get to where you need to be.

The Space:
This 1 bedroom and 1 bath apartment has everything you & your guests need to enjoy your stay in Lincoln! In the kitchen, you'll find beautiful appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and basic cookware to cook simple meals for a cozy night in! A washer and dryer are also available inside the apartment for your convenience. There's free WiFi!

Our studio and 1 bedroom stays come standard with 3 towels and washcloths and our 2 bedroom stays come with 4 each.

There is no parking included with this stay, but there is limited metered parking in the area, as well as several different paid parking lots close by.

As a heads up, the building sits close to a few busy roads, so it's possible that you may hear some sounds from vehicle traffic during your stay. Our property is also home to local University of Nebraska students, and our Husker neighbors can sometimes get excited during game days and other special events. We don't expect this to be an issue during your stay but always want to set proper expectations for our guests!

Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. We do not provide any tv cable or streaming services. However, we do offer Smart TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to log into the apps with your own log in and enjoy!

A note about dogs ($75 fee, only dogs are allowed): We welcome your furry friend to join you during your stay, as long as the following rules are followed. Failure to abide by these will result in additional fees and possible eviction without refund: Breed Restrictions: No Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Chows, German Shepherds, or mixes of these breeds. Weight Restriction: No dogs over 50 lbs. Age Restriction: Minimum 6 months old. Other Restrictions: Must be on a leash at all times, no exceptions. If left alone in the apartment, they must be in a kennel/cage at all times. Please be a good neighbor and pick up after your furry friend at all times.

The pool and gym are available to our guests but you may not invite anyone other than those staying with you to use them. Since we do not control these parts of the building, no refunds or credits will be made to reservations if these amenities are not available; whether for routine maintenance, closure for the season, or any other issue. Abusing these privileges may result in eviction from the property. Please feel free to reach out to us before your stay if you have questions about availability.

Getting Around:
StarTran is the mass transit system in Lincoln. Buses provide transportation to destinations throughout the city and the outlying area as well. Your best bet for getting around is by car. Having your own car gives you the freedom to travel where you want and when you want. BikeLNK is Lincoln's bike share program, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to rent a bike or a pedal-assist electric bike to travel throughout the city. Bike rentals are also available from the UNL Outdoor Adventures Bike Shop on a daily, weekend, weekly and semester long basis. Choose from single speed bikes, mountain bikes, and touring road bikes. Whether you prefer to use the Bus, rideshare through Lyft or Uber or rent a bike to get around town, you'll get to where you need to be.

The space
We always want our space to be cozy and convenient! The living room area includes a Roku Smart TV (you can log in to your Netflix or Hulu account). There are toys, a Lego table, and books for children. There is also an air-hockey table and a futon that folds down into a bed.

The bedroom includes a full-size bed with pillows and blankets that have been described by many guests as comfy and cozy. There are closets and drawers to place your clothing if you'll be staying a while, a diffuser for essential oils, and a little workspace where you can write or work on your laptop.

The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary water. There is also a microwave, hot plate, skillet, coffee machine with coffee, creamer, and sweetener, as well as complimentary oatmeal packets. Silverware and cooking utensils are also included. There is not a sink in the space, but a bin to place used kitchen items that you can request the host to clean if needed during longer stays.

There is a washer and dryer available for your use with laundry detergent. There is also a 3/4 bath fully stocked with towels and any toiletries you may have forgotten!

Finally, there is access to the backyard through the garage. There is a hammock, outdoor dining table, a small play-set and sand box, and a grill with grilling utensils available for your use during warmer weather. There are also patio lights and a fire pit available-perfect for a relaxing night outside!

With this homes location in the Near South Neighborhood you will find it easy to get anywhere in town. This unique home has hardwood floors throughout. The spacious living room has builtin bookshelves and a large Roku TV. There is an attractive (non-functioning) fireplace.

The space
It's a quiet, safe neighborhood, and you have the whole place to yourselves. You have a separate entrance to the second-floor apartment, with a keycode lock, so you can come and go as you please.

There are two locked doors to the apartment: the main front door to the house, and then your stout, solid wood apartment door. From there, you come up the stairs to the hallway. There, you can go upstairs to the attic loft, or to one of the bedrooms, or the living/dining room, or the bathroom.

The kitchen is a charming, very cute space tucked behind the large, usable living room/dining room/extra sleeping room.

The cute kitchen is also a full kitchen, and has all the cookware, utensils, and equipment you need to make large meals. The dining room table seats 6 comfortably, and you could even seat a few extra people on the couch.

The bedrooms are private and cozy, with a secure feel. Each one has a queen bed with space on either side. Also, each one has its own new 32" TV and remote, as well as a closet and a dresser, with bright windows to let in morning light or look out on the trees.

The loft has fresh carpet and a nice clean feel. There are three comfy chairs up there and a big new 42" TV. There is also a little desk up there in the dormer alcove, with a nice view. The desk area has two separate lights to use for work or study.

It's a good fast Wi-Fi that reaches the whole apartment, and all the TVs stream various services, including Netflix, Prime, and more.

The temperature up in the loft is as you like it, with its own, brand-new heat pump to heat or cool. We've talked to former residents of the house who used that loft as a bedroom, but there is no second egress out, except out the dormer window then off the front porch roof, which you'd have to be slightly athletic and somewhat clear-headed to pull off easily, so we have not put a couch or a bed up there, and do not recommend you use as a sleeping area for that reason. Still, makes a super great place to study, work, or to hang out and watch TV.

This unit was made into an apartment in 1941, and we have just finished making a ton of improvements and renovations, including plumbing and electrical, to make it a clean, comfortable, convenient, and secure place for long-term stays. We are usually downstairs or close at hand if you need anything. About 1150 square feet of room up there total.

We are experienced hosts. We've been doing Aribnb hosting since 2018, and are almost always awarded the Super Host status. We enjoy hosting guests.

TOWER BEDROOM has gorgeous tall windows and high ceilings, perched up amid the trees of our beautiful neighborhood. It features a beautiful queen-sized bed with a standard mattress and box springs. Very comfortable! Includes a small maple desk for working or make-up application, and a solid oak chair. Also has a direct door to the bathroom.

LIVING ROOM has two more gorgeous arched windows overlooking the neighborhood. A vintage, Mid-Century Naugahyde convertible couch, with a 4” memory foam mattress that solves the bar problem these couches had. It is quite comfortable to sleep on. 3 comfortable, period chairs can all be put in front of the 42” Toshiba television, with Netflix, Prime, a digital antenna for broadcast TV, and a huge number of internet channels. You can pull in some dining room chairs if you have more TV viewers.

Welcome to your home away from home! This new Villa style apartment furnished & equipped for short/long-term stays. The space will comfortably accommodate a couple or up to 4 people/friends looking for a place to while visiting beautiful Lincoln, Nebraska. You are just minutes away from the Airport, Downtown, the fabulous Fallbrook Area and just across the street from one of many of Lincolns bike paths.

The space
The entire apartment is yours to enjoy! You will have full kitchen, living room, two bedroom, each with their own bathroom, laundry room, balcony and 1 stall garage to utilize while you are here.

Bedrooms:

In our Thomas Floorplan, there are two bedrooms, one equipped with a King size bed, the other with a Full size bed. Each bedroom has closet space and hangers provided to hang up your clothes in case you want to unpack.

Kitchen:

You will find a fully stocked kitchen with a large island equipped for light cooking. Including a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig machine along with creamers, sugars and assortment of flavored coffee. If you plan to cook a large meal, ask ahead for any certain kitchen utensils that you might need!


Living Area:

Couch, coffee table and TV (for your streaming services).

Bathroom:

This bathroom is fully stocked for your convenience with plush bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. One bathroom has a stand up shower and the other is a shower/bathtub combo.

Laundry Room:
If you find yourself needing to do a load of laundry, have no fear! We’ve provided full size washer and dryer in the bathroom along with laundry detergent.

Guest access
Guests have the entire Apartment style Villa plus an attached garage. Guests also have access to the Fitness Room and Outdoor Pool (not open year round) located at the Clubhouse.

The space
The apartment is in the basement with large egress windows in each room. Fully furnished with queen size bed in bedroom and trifolding memory foam full size mattress for additional guests (located in storage room off kitchen). Flatscreen Samsung TV in living room with Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Apple TV, Disney+, Max, Peacock, and Paramount+ pre-installed. Another flatscreen Samsung TV with Netflix and Prime pre-installed, and Apple TV 4K (1st gen.), in bedroom. Kitchen with full size appliances including oven and microwave. Also Keurig coffee maker with K-cups are provided. Bathroom has step-in shower. Towels, wash cloths, wash rags, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion are provided.

You will access the apartment via a separate entrance from the main house. The door is down a few steps on the west side of the house. The lock is coded and is changed for each guest. The inside door separating the main house from the apartment is also locked and coded.

Other things to note
We take pride in the cleanliness of the unit. Every piece of linen and towels are washed after each visitor, kitchen and bathroom are scrubbed clean, all surfaces are disinfected, flooring is swept and mopped, and rugs are vacuumed. But there is no such thing as perfection, so if you are offended by a piece of lint or a random hair, this may not be the place for you. We also have dogs that despite our best efforts believe other humans and animals should not exist. They particularly don’t like delivery-type people, lawn maintenance/snow removal crews, and garbage/recycling haulers. Therefore you will hear some occasional barking. We do allow your dogs to stay as well, but sorry, NO CATS. If you need complete silence all day, this is probably not the place for you. For summertime guests, when we run the A/C in the main house at 71F, the unit gets a bit cold, about 65-66 F. To help summertime guests that get too cold from the A/C running in the main house, there is an electric fireplace/TV stand in the bedroom, and this fireplace will heat up the entire unit. We also place an extra space heater in the unit, and of course, there are extra blankets. We will not bother you during your stay but are happy to assist with anything you think we can - like burned-out light bulbs, batteries for the remote, etc. - so please don’t wait to complain about such things until after your stay. Speaking of remotes, if the battery in the remote for the Apple TV 4K in the bedroom gets low, you can charge it with the white USB cable found in the TV stand. There’s a USB port on the side of the loveseat in the living room. If all that does not scare you away, then welcome to our AirBnB!

Enjoy historic charm close to UNL and downtown. This garden-level apartment with its own entrance is walking distance to delightful coffee shops and cafes. Modern kitchenette with stovetop, microwave, and air fryer oven will allow you to prepare quick meals. Entire apartment has been remodeled in 2023 and is clean and fresh.
The space is a little tight for four grown adults, but it’s great for a family with kids. Sofa pulls out to a full-sized bed, perfect for kids or teens.

The space
A few steps down from street level, you’ll use our coded entrance and find a living room with a sofa, two recliners, and a television. Please enjoy the snack and chocolates!

The sofa pulls into a full-size bed with gel mattress and bedding available. The sofa bed is a good size for one adult or two children. We do have a queen-sized air mattress available to you as well.

The bedroom with a queen sized bed and two side tables is down a short hallway. Another recliner is in the bedroom and you’ll also find the coffee bar in the bedroom, equipped with a Keurig and a French press coffee pot.

Bathroom has a stall shower and is equipped with body wash, shampoo & conditioner, and plenty of towels.

Kitchen has a two-burner stove and small sink, refrigerator, freezer, air fryer and toaster oven, and microwave. We provide you with tea, coffee, hot cocoa and chai mix as well as basic spices and olive oil.

We live in the main section of the house, and are happy to allow you access to our patio and large front porch. We do have one dog and you might hear her-especially when the mail or packages are delivered.

Guest access
The entire apartment is for your private use. In addition, you are welcome to enjoy our large front porch and patio, which has a fire pit and gas grill.
