- "This was a beautiful place to stay. Rooms were like a home away from home. There was a full size kitchen and dining area. In the living area was a pull out couch and a flat screen t.v. Each of the bedrooms upstairs had their own bathroom and closets. The showers were all glass. Lots of space to move around in bedrooms. The one down fall would be the steps to get to the rooms but they may have other rooms that don't require steps. The grounds were gorgeous. The shuttle serviceman was friendly and willing to go out of his way to show us around town. The property is only a few minutes from lots of shops and art galleries that can entertain you for days. I also left my camera in the back of the vehicle and the gentleman that drove us around made sure it was waiting at the front desk for us the next morning, whew! We will definitely bring our family back and recommend to friends."

For us the highlight of our stay was definitely the idyllic backyard. It was a serene escape with an atmospheric sitting area that offered privacy with the surrounding desert plants and the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee. There was a delightful harmony to the way the environment flowed, extending beyond the sitting area to an assortment of chickens milling around in their coop. The walk from the parking area to the casita is down a very short, rocky hill that could be difficult for those with mobility or balance issues. Catalina's Casita is a brand new addition to our offerings. Spacious, light-filled and comfy. This beautiful new space offers a kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping and dining areas. Close to downtown, beautiful walks, and scenic vistas. We cannot accept pets. If pets are found in the rental, a mandatory $250 fee will be charged.

The location is good - probably a 5 minute drive from Santa' Fe's Central Plaza, and within walking distance of the bike and walking trail that follows the Santa Fe River into town (and out of town, for pleasant and relaxing walks or rides). A great food co-op is just a mile or so away on West Alameda, the main road into central Santa Fe. The "casita" itself was totally comfortable and super pleasant - there was a generous bedroom with a great queen bed, good lighting, and an adjoining bath and shower. The kitchen was fully equipped (a pleasant surprise among the sort of two-person rentals we usually seek out), clean and modern. The delightful hostess, Maria Belen, stopped by when we arrived, made sure we had everything we needed, and shared some spices with us for trying out New Mexican recipes (tried a few, but not nearly enough). Importantly in summer, when we were there, the "casita" had excellent air conditioning and was perfectly comfortable the whole time. We slept like rocks in the quiet, enjoyed having the kitchen for both meal preparation and for working on kitchen table using the good internet, and appreciated the resident family's welcoming hospitality. It was a good stay, and we hope to return when we come back to Santa Fe."

The studio has a large glass door that raises, opening up the living space to the outdoor patio. The studio is attached to the main house, but has completely separate parking, entrance and very private space. The two walls connecting to the main house are insulated and solid concrete for privacy.

From our property you will see first-hand the seductive, elegant and legendary light of the high desert, which emphasizes and harmonizes the natural landscape. In the evening, discover the night sky filled with the Milky Way that invites you to linger as you gaze upon the starry veil overhead.

The living area consists of 1 chair and a loveseat, 2 end tables w/charging ports, a coffee table that raises to create an eating surface or an additional work space. Amenities include T.V, FM radio, and WiFi.

The bedroom is separate from the living room. The double bed has four built in drawers and there is a large double closet with a full length mirror also a tall cabinet for additional storage.

The apartment has a full kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, perc coffee pot, tea pot and Keurig coffee maker with stainless steel reusable K- Cup.

My efficiency apartment is self contained with a private entrance, a kitchenette, a private bathroom and a super comfy trundle bed. We are close to the new Rail Runner Zia Station, 3 miles to the plaza and Museum hill, 2 miles to I-25, close to grocery stores, restaurants and the local hospital. Our neighborhood is quiet and close to several great trails with wonderful vistas.
I will only be accepting 30 day bookings. One small dog is welcome.

The space
The apartment is light-filled from a large window facing South and overlooking a brick terrace. There are Saltilla tiles throughout the apartment. The kitchen has a small under counter refrigerator, a sink, a profressional hot plate and a microwave. It is stocked with plates, glasses, bowls, silverware, pots and pans, some spices, and salt and pepper.
There is a large walk in closet with dresser, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, luggage rack, duvets and extra pillows, and a small heater.
The bathroom has a separate room for the toilet and shower and the bathroom sink is just outside the bathroom. I am always adding to the supplies in the apartment and always happy for suggestions.

There is a brick terrace in front of the apartment where guests are welcome to lounge and soak up the sun or enjoy the wonderful sunsets. There is a spectaular view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace.

My apartment is rented only for 30 day minimum with the long term cancellation policy.
Due to Covid-19 I will make linens and cleaning supplies available but cleaning staff will not be cleaning while you are renting the apartment. The apartment is cleaned very thoroughly between guests.
