We're good will people and we paid alot of money fur this accommodation and sadly the bad offset the good...suggest the you but solid king bed for the master ensuite and a solid queen for the 2nd bedroom... oh one more thing"

Missing in the Don Diego room was any surface on which one could perch a laptop or use as a desk. The gas fireplace was a lovely touch but the thermostat to control it was located on the wall behind the fireplace, so controlling the heat was a bit of a challenge as the warm air didn't seem to reach the thermostat. It felt like the thermostat had a mind of its own, although we tried to set it for our comfort. Still, it did its job. The gourmet breakfast is pricey, unique and delicious. GLBT aka 'everyone friendly' friendly Scaramanga Ranch is an ultra-view 25-acre film property with 360 surreal views, a private canyon, epic sunrise/sunsets, nebula-gazing, and diverse elevations. Minerals, artifacts, & fossils are everywhere. Dogs, cats, horses are OK. Feel isolated in wilderness, yet just a 5-min walk to artisan shops, restaurants, and bars. Netflix, Amazon, Disney & Universal film here- why not you? Ample room to navigate and pull-through so campers and RV's are welcome.

1. 'Catchment Latrine'; waste evacuates into bio-waste bags which guests are responsible for disposing off property (i.e. pack it out). As seen in photos, latrine private and uber-clean. Bio-bags, bathroom tissue, nature-friendly shower soap, and towels are provided.

2. Upon reservation you'll be sent a link to your guest guide. Only use the directions within the guide because all GPS app maps are wrong, and you will end up in a VERY narrow dead end or lost.

3. The short mountain road up to us is quite bumpy, but navigable by regular cars, you just have to take it slow. Those with exotic and very low profile vehicles should seek an alternative AirBnb, or park in Madrid and walk to us.

Not only do you have everything that Santa Fe has to offer blocks away, but inside has everything to offer too--cooking and laundry arrangements, a bathroom on each level of the home, board games, music and television options, reading material, a barbecue, live plants, and everything else that you'd like in a home, because this is my home!

Please note that there IS parking on site, but that the upper driveway on Alto St is not mine. Follow Closson St down the hill toward the river where there's a footbridge with a mural of La Virgen, then turn left (only direction you can go) and mine is the first unit in the white building with the large windows. If this is too tricky and you'd prefer to enter from Alto St up top, just park along the street, and you'll get a better idea of the space once you see it!

*Also, a note about air conditioning: here in New Mexico, we have (sometimes) quite hot sunny days and cool breezy nights. While there is an air conditioning unit on the lower floor of the home, if you run hot, please do take care to close windows and window shades/curtains in the daytime. In the evening, opening up the windows and even doors (all are screened, and all courtyard doors are locking) works like a charm to cool things down most of the time. However, if you are looking for refrigerated air vented throughout the home specifically, please do not book this property!

Casa de Cicuye is an eco-friendly compound that also operates as a Spiritual retreat center.. Just 20 mins SE of Santa Fe, it is surrounded by nature and overlooks the Pecos valley. The home is colorful & clean with many plants, tapestries, artwork, textiles & crystals from around the world. The room comes with a fully stocked kitchenette (no sink or stove) & private bathroom. Close to hiking trails, the Pecos river & The Pecos National Monument.. This is a great place to relax and recharge!

The space
I call this the "Quartz" room.. It has a very zen like feeling with ambient lighting, a desk, a large closet with shelving & baskets, imported Turkish rugs & the bed spread is from India . The floor is luxury vinyl wood flooring & the walls are venetian plaster. It is quite cozy.. The bed is super comfy with white linens & a down comforter in the winter.

The room also comes with a private bathroom and shower with white cotton towels, shampoo, conditioner & soap.

In addition, there’s also a fully stocked kitchenette (no sink or stove) in the greenhouse that other guests may share. At the most, you may share with 1 or 2 other guests. This sweet, relaxing space comes with a small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, tea, filtered water, cutting boards, dishes and silverware and a dining table for eating or doing computer work. There is also a desk for computer work. This is also a great room for meditation, doing yoga or just hanging out in.

For guests staying longer than a 7 days, the main kitchen is available for cooking your own meals with prior notice. Please let me know ahead of time if this is something you'll be needing so I can make accommodations.

I'm sorry I do not allow pets in this room and the space is not set up for children.

Guest access
Guests will have their own parking space and their own private entrance through the greenhouse/kitchenette which leads to the bedrooms. You are welcome to enjoy the den/library area for reading or doing yoga as well. You will have access to come & go as you please through the greenhouse/kitchenette. The doors to the greenhouse/kitchenette usually remain unlocked during the day. I recommend locking it at night.

Guests staying more than 7 days will have access to use the main kitchen for cooking and with prior notice. Otherwise, please do not enter the main living room and kitchen area unless you are staying more than a week. Since this is the area where my dogs sleep, you will need to be introduced to them if you will be using the main kitchen. They are sweet and not aggressive or dangerous but the little one will bark at strangers upon first meeting someone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation :)

During your stay
I try to be available to greet guests and say hello when my busy schedule allows.. Mornings after 8 am are usually the best time to catch me. During the day I'm usually around the property doing chores. If you need to reach me, please text. I'm generally quick to respond, except when I work in Santa Fe evenings from 3 pm to 10 pm. During these hours my phone will be off but I will respond as soon as I'm able.

Other things to note
My home is an eco friendly community space & spiritual retreat center. I host many events here for yoga, meditation, ceremonies, house concerts, weddings & anything involving spiritual growth, healing & consciousness.. I’m also a Shamanic practitioner & sometimes available for private healing sessions, relationship coaching, spiritual counseling & private journey sessions. Separate fees apply.

Guests are asked to remove shoes upon entering.

I ask that you come with respect for my home & my land & treat this space as a sanctuary. Please no drugs or heavy drinking. Smoking is allowed outside but please do not throw butts on the ground. Cannabis is also allowed outside.

Please note that the walls between the Quartz room and the Amethyst room are very thin. I ask that guests use soft voices inside as other guests may be working, meditating or sleeping. Please do not slam doors. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

The kitchen is available for cooking to guests who are staying more than 7 days & with prior permission. Please read the "kitchen rules" sign above the sink when using the kitchen. However, I also offer delicious, organic, vegetarian meals for $20/person/per meal when my schedule allows & with a little notice.

We are on a private well with a whole house filtration system and the water is good to drink! We also have a septic system that requires we only use biodegradable soaps, shampoos & detergents.

Laundry service is available to guests staying more than 5 days. The cost is $10 per load. This includes washing, detergent, drying and folding.

There's a massage therapists on the property for an extra fee. Mia's contact info will be available on the Welcome Letter when you check in.

* I apologize in advance but we are currently finishing up some construction projects around the Air B&B entrance and still working on putting in some new flower gardens, grass, and areas for guests to hang outside. Please be patient with us! However, there are camping chairs available if you want to sit outside :)

In the winter time, AWD or good snow tires are recommended to get up the little hill to the driveway.

Run of location, including canyon, with exceptions to set construction and private estate areas. Scaramanga Ranch is primarily a movie and tv film site. Between productions we make the site available to overnight guests.

'Catchment Latrine'; waste dispenses into bio-waste bags which guest is responsible for disposing off property. As seen in photos, latrine private and uber-clean. Bio-bags, bathroom tissue, nature-friendly shower soap, and towels are provided.

All guests must be double vaccinated. Thanks. My house is located 17 miles SE of Santa Fe in Eldorado. Room is adjacent to my greenhouse and has many windows. There is one bed and a lovely vanity and even a small refrigerator. Large house, 5000 sq ft, with 4 bedrooms. Perfect for yoginis, yogis, vegans, vegetarians, athletes. I serve meals from my organic gardens for a reasonable amount. I have 4 greenhouses and grow organic food year round. Late check in is 7 pm unless approved.
