The concierge contacted us to confirm our reservation as opposed to a computer generated email. I let him know this was a milestone birthday for my husband and when we returned to the room our second night we found a bottle of champagne, a real bday card signed by several staff members and a delicious piece of chocolate cake. Room service that we had set up the day called to let us know they would be late (but only by ten minutes; this was Jan1st and the hotel was pretty full. Every staff member very respectful. - "I chose this location as it has free parking and a pool. Not all places I was looking at had these. Although this location was not right at the restaurant/ bar part of the Riverwalk, I found it was still convenient. You can walk about two blocks down Cesar Chavez to the Riverwalk. It’s a beautiful walk and it goes on and on. Although I had a car, there are razor scooters all around that I used a lot. There was always one near the hotel. I walked a lot but had choice of scooter if I wanted. You can get off them & leave them wherever you want. A grocery store/gas station is across the street. The marketplace is a few blocks away with restaurants/bakery and shopping. Bill Miller BBQ has a cafeteria across the street. The pool was great too!"

Had the softest hotel towels ever! Lovely breakfast included with hot and cold offerings. Evening “snacks” were more akin to a buffet! Again providing hot and cold options. Really enjoyed and appreciated the included 2 meals/day so that we only needed to look elsewhere for lunch options unless we wanted something from the little mini market on site. Staff were so very friendly, professional, punctual and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again."
