It was a 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen and offered 2 queen beds, plus a pull-out queen sofa bed, and had 2 full bathrooms and 2 closets. It was very spacious for the 4 of us. We made breakfast every morning and the kitchen had an array of basic cooking items, pots, pans, single serve coffee maker (coffee packet pods provided) baking Pyrex dishes, cooking utensils, and of course plates, cups, coffee mugs, and eating utensils. There was a full fridge, gas oven with stove, and microwave. Our overhead kitchen light was burned out and maintenance was very quick to respond to fix it. Staff was very friendly and helpful and check-in was very quick despite how busy it was. We loved the shuttle to and from Wurstfest, which was included in our stay. There were snacks, muffins, granola bars, Nutrigrain bars, and fresh fruit every morning in the resort office. Our only regret is we didn’t bring swimsuits to enjoy the pools because their website made it sound like the pools were closed for the season. The grounds are beautifully maintained and it was a very relaxing and serene environment to enjoy after a day at the festival. Definitely would recommend The Resort at Schlitterbahn! It’s a great location and a quick drive to great dining, shopping and sightseeing. Make sure you bring some ice as there are no ice machines on property, but you can buy some in their gift shop."
