- "We stayed here for Memorial weekend with several teenage boys ranging from 11 to 16 years old. The kids and adults were blown away from the moment we set foot on the property. Martha, the owner, was kind enough to check in on us before we even arrived. The view from the pool and hot tub at sunset was jaw dropping. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and had plenty of room for all the groceries to feed the group. We made pizza in the pizza oven one night which was super fun and delicious. The bedroom units each had their own air conditioner unit which was perfect to keep each room cool. The bathrooms and bedrooms were all updated and in great condition. One day we went to Canyon Lake and another to Schliterbanh. I loved the specialty grocery store, Stahlman’s at Bear Creek, with fresh farmers’ market fruit and vegetables and the sandwich shop. * the pool heater is run by technology and occasionally there is a glitch. If the pool fails to heat because of technology, don't worry, we won't charge you for that day, we will manually turn on the heater, and comp you for the remainder of the day heating the pool
* the maximum pool temperature is 80 degrees, 15-20 degrees above the air temperature, or 20 degrees above the starting water temperature, whichever is less.
* Under normal circumstances the water will increase by 2 degrees per hour, and on cold days it will be less, so on cold days it could take most of the day to reach the maximum temperature. If you are worried about the final temperature the pool might reach based on cold weather and starting water temperature, we are happy to cancel a full day of heating if you notify us before 8pm. We cannot make any refunds once the heating process has started unless technology fails to start the heater as described above.

**Parties and Events** We love a good time, but have strict rules against disruptive parties. However, we understand that groups traveling together are often celebrating a special occasion like a wedding, birthday, or reunion. Please notify us in advance if this is the case. We simply ask you to respect the property and return it to us in the condition in which you received it. When decorating, please do not use tacks, nails, tape or other adhesives. **Rustic Grounds** Please be aware that our property is situated in a rustic natural setting, featuring amazing wildlife; including deer, fox and more. You can expect to find insects as well so we recommend guests to bring repellent.
Supervise children closely near the creek and be mindful of your surroundings to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

**Patio and Trash** Please straighten up patio chairs and throw out any trash before checking out.

**Please clean BBQ grill or Smoker after use.

**Towels and Laundry** We appreciate your cooperation in placing all used towels in the laundry room.

**Dishwasher** Please load and start the dishwasher before departing.

**Personal Belongings** Ensure that you remove all personal belongings before you leave. If you find that you've left anything behind, please contact us right away. We will hold lost items for **72 hours** and can arrange to send them at your expense via mail.
