The place is a cute old house, but certainly has been rode hard without much in the attempt to fix issues (serious wall damage, sloped floors, broken hardware in the bathroom etc.). I do not like that they send an external requests from Expedia (via email) for ID & CC info, when Expedia specifically states for you not to do that. If you don’t though, you’ll be stuck standing on the front porch unable to get in cause your door code won’t be “activated.” They might also want to spray more often for bugs, quite a few in the kitchen area when we arrived. The neighborhood is convenient for what we needed and we had no safety issues or concerns while we were there. "

Could view inside home with no secure feeling, no blind or cover up. Very neat appearance when entering, however could tell this was a very old home that was dolled up a little. Hardwood floors felt they would cave in at any moment, not clean, grouty and dirty. Could see foot print stains of shoe bottoms in the glare of the floor. Master bedroom sink leaked, knobs loose, curtains with stains, light fixtures not working appropriately. Owner lied about sending someone to do a repair, never showed up, no response back. Smelled old in the home. Wall fixtures that should have been on wall stuffed in laundry room. Felt afraid to leave vehicle parked out front but could walk out of master and look straight out front door large window to see and if someone had been on the porch they could have looked right back at me with no problem. The home was very neat, the shower was beautiful in the master, but this home was not clean, attention to detail was not enforced, and communication during the stay with owners was a struggle. It was less than 30 min from base so it was not a far drive. Don't let the rough-looking neighborhood deter you. The inside of the house was very cute, clean, and updated. Beds were comfortable.I fell in love with the huge walk in closet in the master bedroom! Even though the neighborhood looked questionable, I never felt unsafe. It does seem to be a run-down neighborhood, but the neighbors were friendly when we saw them outside, and we never saw any late-night activity. The neighbors were quiet at night, but the train that passes through a few times during the night is a different story. We could hear it more from the front bedroom vs the back bedroom. We ended up buying small fans to run in the bedrooms at night to drown out some of the noise. I would recommend that the hostess have these available for this reason. Tania was a great hostess and was great at communicating with us. I would consider staying here again if I ever return to the area. Another diamond in the rough is the Fiesta Bakery that's fairly close by. Delicious cinnamon rolls!! Again, don't be fooled by the outside. Great staff and great food. Thanks for a great trip!"

We made due after a long day at theme parks just to find out 3 days later that we were being charged $100 for a minor stain on a bed sheet that we don’t even know if it was there to begin with! They know it is not because when you get your confirmation email it clearly says 1 bedroom. i called and asked and the rep assured it was a 2 bedroom. there is 1 bedroom with a full bed and a twin bunk bed in the hallway. it is not a 2nd bed room. not 1 dresser drawer for clothes we had to live out our suitcases. also the beds have fleas or something because they were biting me all night. I did not complain about this or report while i was there because it would have spoiled my trip to be arguing over the phone. The apartment looked remodeled and was cleanly looking (except for the bed bugs or fleas). the utensils were dollar store quality and they did not even have 1 real knife only butter knives. only provided 1 extra garbage bag for a 4 night stay?? i am not a complainer so the trip was a success in my eyes, i did not want a back and forth battle."

- "The apartment looked to be very clean. There were some cosmetic flaws (especially the uneven/lumpy floors). Some of the conversions/repairs could definitely be done better but overall looked nice. The beds were not good. Only 1 twin bed was comfortable & quiet. The queen (or full…can’t remember for sure) bed & the bunk bed felt extremely flimsy and made a lot of noise with every movement. This was especially true with the bunk bed & one person gave up the bottom bunk for the couch because of the noise & shaking of the bed. We did like having the driveway & back entrance. Neighborhood looked a little scary coming in at night especially but we had no incidents & didn’t hear any loud noises during our stay."
