The space
Yes, she's a classic, and we've lovingly decorated her for comfort and joy. Imagine laughter echoing in the sprawling living areas, perfect for those heart-to-heart chats, or sharing joyful meals and memories around two dining spots. Four cozy bedrooms promise sweet dreams: one features a King bed, two have queen beds, and the fourth includes two bunk beds. Need more space? The living room sofa pulls out into a full-size bed. You'll find two full bathrooms and two convenient half baths to comfortably accommodate everyone.

The spacious kitchen awaits your culinary adventures! It's equipped with a large main refrigerator perfect for big families (the smaller one is retired), and while she has two sinks, one is happily on duty and has always been plenty for a crowd (you'll see a little note on the one taking a rest).

We believe in honest charm, so you should know a couple of things: our sunroom is currently taking a little beauty rest (closed for repairs).

This unique site is listed on the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, providing habitat for 317 species of resident and neo-tropical migrant birds. The American Bird Conservancy designated the Baytown Nature Center as a nationally important bird area. Birding blinds are spread throughout the BNC as well as benches great for sitting and spotting your favorite feathered friends.

There are miles of walkways for stretching your legs and taking in the great outdoors. Whether you are looking for wooded gravel pathways or paved waterside trails, the BNC has you covered. Once a month take in the BNC at night during the Full Moon Hikes which coincide with the Saturday closest to the full moon each month.

There was no hot water… not sure if the water heater did not work or if the breaker was off but the cold side was the same temperature as the hot side. Paid for 7 days left after 6 …. SMOKE FREE PROPERTY
Our house & property is smoke free, our children have asthma so we try to keep it hypoallergenic. We also find our guests love our property because of this. If a guest does smoke, there is a fee ($300.00). If we have to cancel our next guest reservation, the loss of reservation is also charged to the reservation that smoked.

Compact & Efficient Layout: The apartment is cozy and accurately represented in photos. Furnishings are practical - beds are standard size and the couch is firm.

Sleeping Arrangements: The unit includes a full-size bed in the bedroom (sleeps 2 adults), a twin-size daybed in the living room (sleeps 1), a sofa that converts to a bed (sleeps 1), and a small futon suitable for a young child.

Clean & Maintained: The unit is professionally cleaned. Any issues are addressed promptly - guests are encouraged to reach out during their stay.

Train Proximity: Because of its proximity to the Baytown ExxonMobil industrial complex, a nearby train crossing may be audible at night. Light sleepers may prefer earplugs or a white noise app.

Non-Smoking Unit: Smoking is not permitted inside. If you or anyone in your party smokes, please do so outside. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
