After a hard day's fishing, what better place to relax than in convenient, comfortable surroundings in this fishing village. Located in a well-maintained, safe neighborhood, this apartment is inside the boat barn which makes for quiet, restful sleeping conditions. The bedroom has accommodations for four with a twin over full bunk and a full over full bunk (4 beds). The bathroom has a huge shower and is stocked with soaps and paper products. There is a big screen TV where you can catch all of the latest Houston sports games and news and basic programming. Complimentary WiFi in addition to DirectTV Stream are provided. ROKU remote.
There is a covered carport, propane grill, and yard furniture for relaxing outside when not fishing. Security cameras are not armed during your stay protecting your privacy. An electric extension cord is available for charging your boat.
Please , park on the 45' X 29 ' wide rock drive between the Barnacle and the street. The cement driveway is for guests in the other two rentals on this property. Contact owner if you want to see if this space on the cement drive is available during your stay.

We do ask that you do not clean fish/ducks on the premises. Also, absolutely do not throw entrails in the trash bins. The stench permeates the neighborhood for a week.

We love pets, but we ask that you do not leave your pet alone all day while you are gone without kenneling it.. There is a $50/pet fee in the booking process if not deducted at booking, it will be deducted from the damage deposit after your departure.

- "This house was everything we had hoped for. First and foremost, very clean! The living room was a comfortable room to relax in, with a view of the water outside with ducks and cranes. With two full bathrooms, there was never a wait, and the beds were firm and very welcomed after a day on the water. Highly recommend bringing groceries with you as there are a limited shopping options nearby. The dining options in town are limited as well, but our favorite was Loco Gringo Barbecue. Loved that we were able to bring our lab along with us. She loved being out and about. We enjoyed a walk on the beach at King Fisher Beach. We will be back!"

The Reel 'em Inn @ POC has been in our family for a few years now and has been through a lot. Countless card game nights, barbeque and seafood feasts in the back yard, s'mores on the fire pit and plenty of laughs by the pool and fishing stories! Come on down and stay a spell. We are close to King Fisher Beach on Matagorda Bay and near boat ramps to launch your boat. Pet friendly with doggie door and fenced yard. Swimming pool with deck and outside bathroom. The bedroom has accommodations for four with a twin over full bunk and a full over full bunk (4 beds). The bathroom has a huge shower and is stocked with soaps and paper products. There is a big screen TV where you can catch all of the latest Houston sports games and news and basic programming. Complimentary WiFi in addition to DirectTV Stream are provided. ROKU remote.
There is a covered carport, propane grill, and yard furniture for relaxing outside when not fishing. Security cameras are not armed during your stay protecting your privacy. An electric extension cord is available for charging your batteries.

Please, park on the rock drive between the Barnacle and the street. The cement driveway accommodates guests in the other two rentals on this property. Contact owner to see if the cement drive is available for your parking.

We do ask that you do not clean fish/ducks on the premises. Also, absolutely do not throw entrails in the trash bins. The stench permeates the neighborhood for a week.

We love pets, but we ask that you do not leave your pet alone all day while you are gone without kenneling it.. There is a $30/pet fee in the booking process

We have named our house POC Magic, because our family thinks it is a special place for making memories. The cottage is great for fishermen and hunters, but it's also a great place for couples and families. The house is only 4 blocks from Kingfisher Beach and the POC fishing pier. With 4 beds and 2 futons, the house easily sleeps 8. The breezeway and tiki bar offer a great place to gather outside. And to boot, there is a BBQ pit with offset smoker for your use.

The space
There are 2 entrances to the house. The front entrance has both a ramp and a stairway for access. The other entrance is under the breezeway and enters into the primary bedroom.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and a futon. The ensuite bath has a tub/shower combination. The secondary bedroom has a queen bed and two twins. The living room has another futon. The hall bath has a stand-up shower. The bathrooms are all stocked with towels, soap, shampoo and rinse, and toilet paper.

There are smart televisions in the bedrooms and the living room as well as T-Mobile Wi-Fi internet.

The house is on 2 lots, so there is plenty of parking for both vehicles and boats. And right in the front corner of the yard, there is an area to flush your boat motor and wash off your boat.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes, flatware, pots & pans. cooking utensils., paper towels, as well as various spices. There is a coffee pot and coffee is provided. The utility room is furnished with a washer/dryer stacked unit and laundry supplies.

You will have access to the main house and the breezeway. There is an owner's cabin on the left side of the property, but there will be nobody there when a guest is booked into the house.

The space
This newly remodeled, 2023-24, 3/2 house is centrally located providing great access to everything in Port O’Connor! Restaurants like Sharkey’s and Kathy’s and the Oasis are just minutes away. Groceries and supplies are available at Speedystop, just up the street. Come visit and charter a fishing trip or bring your own boat! Concrete driveway with water and electricity for charging those boat batteries available. There are golf cart rentals in town and kayak rentals as well. Kingfisher beach is beautiful and an easy ten minute walk away! The back yard of this home has room for kids to play and a great place for a fish fry or doing some grilling on the gas/charcoal grill. In addition there is a fire pit and firewood provided for your stay as well. Come check this place out and enjoy remodeled accommodations and a spacious fun yard! See you soon!
