- "An amazing stay that matched all the reviews and provided what we needed - an unplugged, remote and relaxing stay! Pitch black at night, shaded during the day. Hot tub outside is accessible via a fully paved pathway. External sound system speakers are high quality. Having the vinyl turntable and listening to classic records was relaxing, but also being able to stream your personal music to the system was a great touch. HOT HOT water available! (And that outdoor tub is a very neat feature!) Overall a near perfect stay. My only awareness I'd put out there for anyone, if this is important to them (and is not an overall negative of any way): internal tub is higher so can be an issue for shorties (like us), internal lights create heat and are of the dimmer type - romantic yes, but a little impractical to stay cool and/or see things clearly for older eyes, no desk/small table besides what is in the kitchen, bring favorite DVD's to watch, consider grocery shopping on the way in - Brookshire's is the only grocery in town and its a traditional smaller style store - so selection is limited compared to what we've grown accustomed to in large Wal-Mart towns."

Yes, you read it correctly, there is a full size WIFFLEBALL FIELD, so come and play! Wiffleball bats and balls are provided as well. This is a 50+ year old farmhouse that has been renovated inside and out. However, it still has held onto its character along with some of the charms of its age (squeaky floors and small cracks due to foundation shifting over time).

★ FILTERED WATER PROVIDED ★
The water on the property is fine to drink but has a strong iron content. Filtered water (cold and instant hot) has been provided for your convenience.

★ MORE PROPERTY COMING ★
Your property access is 1.5 acres of the almost 11-acre estate and the barn on the property is not accessible to guests. This will change in the future as we continue to renovate (Game Barn and Glamping sites coming!).

★ EAST TEXAS FRIENDS ★
Although we spray the house inside and outside regularly, keep it cleaned, prepped, and maintained after each guest, please remember that this is a 50+ year old farmhouse out in the East Texas piney woods country. You may come across some of our East Texas friends (crickets, fire ants, etc.).

★ COVID-19 SANITIZATION ★
Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough and extensive cleaning process after each check-out.

★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. If you sneak in a pet, you will be charged an additional $300 and asked to leave.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for Oder Removal, Duct Cleaning, and Furniture Cleaning.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
