This space is a charming 2- story with the only bathroom downstairs - separate from large airy upstairs bedroom.

We are within a mile or 2 of several restaurants…. Downtown sports a brewery restaurant an Italian restaurant and a bakery
Nice upscale restaurants are in the same vicinity for night-time dining

HOUSE RULES
Please– no vaping/smoking/using a bong or a hooka indoors. If you choose to smoke/vape outside, safely remove all cigarette butts.
Please be aware of our Quiet Time between 10pm to 7 am. We are more than comfortable with social hangouts at the cabin, but please no events or situations that would cause alarm or a need for calling the authorities.

PET INFO
This is a pet friendly cabin (apologies, but it is not pet allegen friendly as we have a high frequency of pets stay with us). We do not charge pet fees to keep costs at a minimum so we kindly ask that you not allow pets on furniture (unless approved by owner with certain exceptions).
Please do not lay supplied bedding (sheets, throws, blankets, towels) in the cabin for your pets. Feel free to bring your own bedding for them!

PARKING
Park anywhere you like by the cabin area or on the side street. Please refrain from parking on the main driveway. Plenty of parking for a large moving van.

BEVERAGES
Water bottles in the fridge are complimentary. Coffee is available at the coffee bar.

PLUMBING
The cabin plumbing is delicate. Please refrain from flushing sanitary napkins, wipes or any other non organic matter other than TP down the toilet.

SUPPLIES
Should you need any more supplies such as trash bags, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. let me know and I will gladly re-stock the cabin. 

ROKU
The TV has local channels through an HD antennae and a ROKU. You may log in to any of your personal subscription streaming accounts. Remember to log your accounts out before you check out!

BREAKER BOX
Breaker Box is behind the coffee bar if needed. The cabin has limited amperage so the breaker does trip on occasion if too many appliances & space heaters are in use. Resetting the breaker will solve the issue.

PROPERTY
Our property lines are mostly defined by the tree and fence lines. Feel free to explore woods or neighborhood walks at your own risk. We will not be responsible for any injuries due to your own negligence during your stay.

The Pablo Picasso room is located two blocks away from main house at “The Gallery Property ” each room is decorated in the theme of one of three Artist. The Picasso room is a corner room that has a light and airy ambiance with a queen size bed with a private bathroom and walk in shower. This room also has access to a lovely common area with complimentary water & ice machine. Airbnb guests receive a discount for our 2 course gourmet breakfast of 15.95 per person (Reg 22.95)

A spacious, 1st floor guest room with 13' celings. featurings one queen bed, oriental rugs, and a private bath with walk in shower. The room is decorated in a Victorian theme with American walnut antiques, period lighting and accessories.

Beautiful grounds with sitting areas, swings, fire pit and walking paths surround the house for your enjoyment. The Carriage House is perfect for friends traveling together.

The main house "Evergreen" was built in 1892 by Margaret Godfrey, a school teacher. The home passed through a few families and in 1991, Doug and Phillis Eastham purchased the home. The Eastham's have attempted to restore the house to its original condition removing many of the additions and partitions constructed during the early part of this century.


Doug and Phillis have been married for 59 years and live in the main Evergreen house. The Eastham's moved from Houston where they had a hardware and lumbar business for 30 years. After making the decision to retire, the Eastham's settled on Jefferson Texas wanting to restore an old home. They say their favorite thing about Jefferson is the people and unique community. We hope you have a great time in our home and Jefferson!
