I don't know if I would have heard it if I wasn't already awake, though it's certainly not "off in the distance". (look at a map) I didn't hear one on Friday between midnight and 0800. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, closet, and refrigerator. Everything was "modern" and well-kept; no worn furniture, stains anywhere, etc, that could have made it seem in need of upkeep. The space
Small guest house located on same property as my Tulsa Getaway listing. This unit sits just behind the other.

Close to i49 & i20. Minutes from downtown, great food, shopping and the casinos and only 1.5 miles from Oschners LSU medical center.

I still have some yard work and landscaping to do so the yard isn’t pretty but there is lots of shade to park under during the hot Louisiana summers and a fire pit if you want to sit outside and enjoy it on the chilly winter nights.

Access for the Tulsa hideaway is on the left side of the driveway. This location is a guest house that sits just behind another house.

To park, please pull all the way back on the left side of the drive. If you prefer, you can close the inner gates behind you if you want to let your pet run around safely.

Other things to note
When you arrive you may pull up through the double gate on the left side and park in the back, however if you have a large vehicle it is a tight fit so please be careful.

The surrounding neighborhood is not necessarily the prettiest in Shreveport, but it is safe and we have never experienced any negative incidents after many years.

Shreveport city water is not very nice to drink - please help yourself to the bottled water in the fridge

The space
Poolside Guesthouse: 300 sq f studio with kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Fenced in yard with pool is for your enjoyment. Pool is a shared pool with my family and occasional friends. We love summer and fun and always welcome our guests to join. We naturally respect the privacy of our guests, so please let us know what kind of ecperience you are looking for, so that we can better serve you. If you prefer privacy at the pool you can request private times.

There is a private, small fenced in yard on the opposite side of the guesthouse (especially great for guests with dog) as well with a small table and chairs. “We” are a family team and have 3 dogs of our own. Occasionally guests see them, but we try to keep them in their dogpen or the house. If you are travelling with your pet, they are so welcome. We would like to meet them as well. If our dogs get along they can have an experience of their own and play in the dogpen!

Parking on site for one car available. Best way to get around is by car. Poolhouse is close to shopping, hospitals and airforce space.

Other things to note
The pool guesthouse is in the back of the main house surrounded by garden and pool. The pool and garden are shared with the hostfamily. Private hours at the pool can be requested. We love to honor our guests wishes what comes to privacy by the pool and garden. We ask our guests to let us know their wishes so that we can best serve them.

Pool guesthouse has two entrances. The main entrance is by the pool. The other entrance is private more humble entrance. If you would like, bring a seed and plant something there! I ll provide the dirt and the shovel!

The yard is not completely fenced so pets will need to be on leash.

The driveway is very narrow - but some trucks/4runners/etc do fit - but you should be comfortable with maneuvering in a tight space, don’t forget, you will have to back out too! 🧐 Depending on occupancy, you may not have the space to turn around. Absolutely no parking in driveway.

Street parking is normal in the area, so it is nice to have parking in back of property. I’m sorry but we cannot accommodate trailers or campers.
