Home is 98 years old remodeled. Original hardwoods throughout. Listed pics of upstairs apt. Large spacious rooms. The neighborhood is very safe and established with 100+ year old homes and beautiful oak trees. Awesome restaurant's walking distance from the property.

- "Place had everything we needed. Ten mins to anywhere in Shreveport/Bossier area! Would stay here again." - "Perfect for that traveler on business. Perfect for single or couple. The unit is a garage apartment located in a quiet neighborhood. It does back up to the interstate so there is some traffic noise. There is a white noise machine to drown it out but I did not find the traffic at all disturbing. The unit is stocked as expected. Bed and bedding was extremely comfortable and cozy. Towels were fluffy. It’s tastefully decorated with a New Orleans theme. Overall great stay and great host! Will stay again when I’m the area."

This is a second floor unit of a duplex. Home furnishings and decor are brand new. The centralized location and large windows overlooking one of Shreveport's most charming areas are a couple of the many things we love about this cozy apartment. Just minutes away from shopping, arts, local hangouts, Oschners hospital, the college and downtown Shreveport--this is the ideal location for any traveler!

More cooking ware, a storage rack in the bathroom for soaps and body wash is needed ; I didn’t like reaching out the tub for soap or anything I needed. Get cozy and comfortable on Creswell. This spacious 2 bedroom apartment is full of character and is centrally located in the historical area of Shreveport. It is near everything great shopping, good restaurants and more. There is a king bed, queen bed and futon for sleeping. All the amenities you need to feel at home are right at your fingertips and it has a great backyard space for lounging.

The location is great if you're going to explore the area as it's centrally located in the Bossier/Shreveport area. Basics are also easily picked up from very close grocery, convince, and drugstore locations. As an added bonus, I was able to meet the owner's large but friendly dog. Wasn't the same as my own dog, but it did help my mood to get and give a bit of doggie lovin'. I would definitely consider this location again in the future. Low-key, relaxed, and comfortable stay."

- "This was a perfect place for my husband and I to get away for a few days. It was right across the road from the lake which was perfectly fine with us because it kept the bugs away. We could easily cross the road and enjoy sunrises and sunsets just the same. The space was perfect just for us and it was so quiet and peaceful during the night. Every time I reached out to the owner, they were very quick to respond. The little town it is located in was also really fun to explore and very accommodating for some meals. If you are thinking about some time spent in the cedars, this would be a great place to stay. I know we will be back."

- "Was not very clean and everything was old also the pics are very old " - "The property sits at the end of an average older neighborhood with some nice, decent and run down homes. The driveway is extremely steep with step running between the concrete so you can park on the street and walk up if you don't want to risk damage to your car. The yards surrounding the vrbo are overgrown and not maintained so you'll feel like you're in a poor part of town. The unit itself in downstairs from another rental on top. This is an old building so you hear EVERYTHING upstairs, which was the worst thing about our stay. Even though the folks upstairs weren't jumping around, the floor creaks like crazy and is really annoying especially when trying to sleep. For the most part, the unit was clean but there were lots of gnats flying around the lights and cluttered at the top of the windows probably from the door being left open prior to our stay. The bathroom is very small with a corner sink so if you're a larger person, it's something to consider. The unit is tight quarters but has a roomy kitchen and front room with one couch to watch tv. The A/C works very well! The shower has great pressure! The beds are comfortable enough once you find the right spot. The sheets on my bed were well past there prime but upon requesting another set, the manager gave me the code to the linen closet so I could get a brand new set. If you're on a tight budget with modest expectations, its probably okay. I wouldn't stay here again as I've found better vrbo's in the same price range."

Other things to note
There is one king-sized bed in the guest suite and one twin-sized bed. The twin bed is 36” off the floor and has a step stool. It’s in a very small room off the main room. There is a small futon (a couch that folds down) for an additional guest. The futon is the width of a twin bed and a few inches shorter. We have included two high-quality twin sized air mattresses w/linens in the suite for those "additional guests" who would prefer the airmattress over the futon since the futon is a bit shorter than the average twin-sized bed. There is a cushioned mattress cover, sheets, a pillow, and blanket. **For a party of four, two will sleep luxuriously on the amazing foam mattress on the king bed, one will have a super comfy twin bed, and the other will have just a basic place to sleep. For entertainment, there is a Roku device for signing into streaming services and a DVD player. *There is no cable or satellite TV service. Luxury robes, towels, toiletries, snacks and drinks included for all of course!
