- "Place had everything we needed. Ten mins to anywhere in Shreveport/Bossier area! Would stay here again." - "Perfect for that traveler on business. Perfect for single or couple. The unit is a garage apartment located in a quiet neighborhood. It does back up to the interstate so there is some traffic noise. There is a white noise machine to drown it out but I did not find the traffic at all disturbing. The unit is stocked as expected. Bed and bedding was extremely comfortable and cozy. Towels were fluffy. It’s tastefully decorated with a New Orleans theme. Overall great stay and great host! Will stay again when I’m the area."

This is a second floor unit of a duplex. Home furnishings and decor are brand new. The centralized location and large windows overlooking one of Shreveport's most charming areas are a couple of the many things we love about this cozy apartment. Just minutes away from shopping, arts, local hangouts, Oschners hospital, the college and downtown Shreveport--this is the ideal location for any traveler!
- "Great place , our go to spot while visiting SHV. Catherine and her retro place never disappoints. Will be back! Thanks again Catherine!!" - "My family & I stayed here for 5 nights during Thanksgiving 2022. It is located in a safe neighborhood, close to everything. The host was great with communication and assistance when we needed to add an extra night. Unit is clean & comfortable. We look forward to staying here again when in town!" - "My sister and I stayed several nights and loved the place. 2 nice sized bedrooms and the living/dining area was perfect when our other (3) sisters dropped by. Location was just what we wanted - close to Highland and South Highlands. And our hostess (and her patient husband) got me out of the mess I created with the TV cable service!"

Enjoy being close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. 2 bedrooms with a King and Queen bed, 1 big bathroom, large comfy sofa, private covered and screened outside patio, coffee station and more. You can even bring 1 small pet. Casinos are approximately 11 minutes away and major stores are 2 to 8 minutes away. Additionally, the best part is it is on the Mardi Gra parade route. Perfect for long-term stays.
- "The stay was great. I felt right at home. The host was very fast with responding and whenever I called she answered and was very nice. A few changes could be made. More cooking ware, a storage rack in the bathroom for soaps and body wash is needed ; I didn’t like reaching out the tub for soap or anything I needed. The oven wasn’t working properly I had to use the broil setting to bake me a pizza. Other than the things I stated I really loved my stay. Thank You for having me."

- "Clean, cute, perfect little get away spot." - "This place is great and so cozy. So comfortable and peaceful." - "This was a lovely over garage apartment. The hosts provided a variety of comforts including the sun-filled bathroom with its skylight, the warm, comfy bed, and a thermostat control. The hosts were very friendly and great to work with as they were prompt to respond to any questions I had. The location is great if you're going to explore the area as it's centrally located in the Bossier/Shreveport area. Basics are also easily picked up from very close grocery, convince, and drugstore locations. As an added bonus, I was able to meet the owner's large but friendly dog. Wasn't the same as my own dog, but it did help my mood to get and give a bit of doggie lovin'. I would definitely consider this location again in the future. Low-key, relaxed, and comfortable stay."

- "I was in town for two weeks on business and this was far better than getting a hotel for that time period. Great little spot that was cared for by owners who were quick to answer and help resolve any questions I had." - "This is a nice 1 bedroom apartment and everything looks like it does in the pictures. There is a note on the washer stating it is permanently out of order. Considering that its shown prominently in the listing pictures with no note, I feel it's a bit misleading. As others have stated, the driveway is extremely steep. My suv is fairly high off the ground and it drug bottom a bit coming out of the driveway every time. Still a nice place for the price, and host is quick to respond."

- "This was a perfect place for my husband and I to get away for a few days. It was right across the road from the lake which was perfectly fine with us because it kept the bugs away. We could easily cross the road and enjoy sunrises and sunsets just the same. The space was perfect just for us and it was so quiet and peaceful during the night. Every time I reached out to the owner, they were very quick to respond. The little town it is located in was also really fun to explore and very accommodating for some meals. If you are thinking about some time spent in the cedars, this would be a great place to stay. I know we will be back."

- "This upstairs unit in a quadruplex is a quaint 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. It was very clean and well maintained. It was very suitable for what we needed - a comfortable plash to crash after a long day at a convention. The owner was very communicative and responded quickly. There are only 2 minor drawbacks - the parking is weird and the fact that is a very well lit area. If you aren't used to sleeping with light coming in the window at all hours, then you may need a sleep mask. "
