- "The property was dirty, very strong cigarette smoking smell. The fire alarm was chirping always. Disconnected it so we could sleep. The bathrooms had not be cleaned and the rugs and carpets were filthy. The host wondered why we did not contact him at 2:00 am in the morning after a international flight so he could remedy the situation. Was not able to remedy anything. Checked out early after one night.VRBO could not do anything." - "Our experience with this host and property was by far the worst we've ever had with any rental property. We have used Vrbo many times, but will not be returning customers. There was clearly no vetting to this host or property. Some of our issues included: -Lockbox information to get into property was not correct, causing delayed entry late at night. -Does not sleep 6 as advertised -Smoke alarm chirped non-stop -No toilet paper in the entire residence -No hot water -Kitchen sink did not drain -Floors were dirty and carpet was stained -Exposed screws in flooring -Linens were not clean We booked a 2 night stay and ended up making other arrangements. So far, the host has refused a refund and Vrbo claims they cannot issue the refund without the host's consent. This property is not fit for rentals."

- "I was looking forward to this stay in Garland, TX, but unfortunately was disappointed in my stay. The check-in process is ideal and efficient for all travelers, but especially if arriving late. The first problem arose with the parking, which by no fault of the owner, but limited parking spaces due to repaving areas of the parking lots. I’m positive the parking will be on point since the repaving will be done. The first night stay went good besides the smell on the sheets. She had some food in the cupboard for use (muffin mix, noodles, etc), some items available if you needed to use the washer and dryer, and had the place looking presentable. The glass table had streaks, and the stovetop was a little concerning. The rest of the stay proved disappointing. Upon returning from the second day’s adventures, there was a strong overbearing odor by the bathroom and bedrooms. I had to turn off the A/C unit since it seemed and did stop the odor from entering the apartment. After notifying the owner, she reported that it could be from the renovations being done around the unit. Hmmm I would think the owner would have been told about renovations ahead of time, but ok. Next day’s return from Louisiana, a HUGE cockroach with wings was on the hallway wall of the bathroom. Not certain where it came from and wasn’t waiting to find out either. That made the decision to leave the apartment. This is the first time EVER since using VRBO/HomeAway for over six years that I had to leave a place and had a disappointing stay. I am hopeful the owner would take some things into consideration as the place has stellar potential."

The resort style pool the tanning deck is to die for! You'll find that the area very safe ,quiet and perfect for a midnight stroll to Krogers or the bowling alley all with you less than a mile!
