We love the tropical vibe, and you will definitely see many tropical plants in the gardens that you will feel as if you are in the tropics somewhere!

Not only is our location very conveniently located to tourist attractions, but we also have a very stylist home and a welcoming feel.

The guest house comfortably sleeps two people, sharing a bed. If you are traveling with a third person, or simply need extra sleeping space, we have a twin-sized air mattress available for you to borrow, or a pac'n'play for a little one.

There is a kitchenette work essentially for light meals. Including a microwave, sink, freezer/fridge

Check-in time is 3pm or later. Access is through a keyless lock for which you'll be provided a code prior to arrival, so late night check-ins are not a problem. Check-out time is 11am

The guest house is roughly 300 square feet, and features:

Quiet, ground floor studio apartment in a gorgeous historic neighborhood close to downtown and we are pet friendly!

The space
Our dog Rosy will greet you at the door of this quiet guest space. (She lives in our house but loves to run out and gently greet people). It is a 500 square foot ground floor studio apartment with a full bath and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove /oven, toaster, microwave and full size fridge. There are dishes , silverware and pots and pans-we leave you coffee and breakfast foods for the morning ( and a few other things!) We have a 40 inch TV with Apple TV where you can access Hulu and Netflix and other channels. There is a Temperpedic queen size bed with a fresh duvet cover . Feel free to bring your pets to hang with Rosy! We live in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and parks- only 1 mile from Magnolia Street where there are many restaurants and bars.

ANIMALS

Service animals & pets are welcome. However, they must be housebroken. Pet weight limit 20 lbs. They are welcome in your front yard. Please keep them on a leash as there are neighbor dogs that roam around and come to visit and I have a 12-year-old Dog named Dorothy, Crazy Chica (Chihuahua) and a Cat, Rainbow Kitty that are outside, inside animals and they may come to visit too. Please pick up after your animals. Bag and store poo in the silver trash can with the lid provided outside until trash day.

While we are pet friendly the cabin is not large enough for multiple guest and multiple dogs. Let’s keep it simple the cabin is large enough for 2 adults and 2 small guests either (dogs or children). (NO MORE THAN 4 SOULS IN THE CABIN, NO EXCEPTIONS) You also agree to be responsible for any damages or extra cleaning needed. There is a one-time $100 pet fee for each pet. You must list on the reservation number of guest and number of pets.

Our garage studio is located in our backyard, completely separate from our main house. The entire studio is yours, and yours alone.

Before you book, please note:

(1) Our entire property is 100% smoke free. We do not accommodate smokers. Smokers will be turned away without refund. No exceptions.

(2) We have an extensive backyard pool construction project ongoing from Oct to early May 2024. The entire backyard is being dug up and redone. We limit noise during the morning / evening and are happy to accommodate requests. If you have any specific concerns or questions, please get in touch. You are our priority.

(3) There is a spiral staircase to get to the AirBnB. It can be a bit tight with full size luggage. We are more than happy to help!

(4) We have a very friendly and very well-behaved dog (50lb vizsla) that absolutely adores our guests and is allowed to roam the backyard. If you're not a dog person, please let us know so we can keep him inside as much as possible. He doesn't jump, but he loves greeting our guests.
