This newly remodeled suite is located downstairs in the two-level Carriage House, just behind the main house. Parking is right by your suite and you have a private sandstone patio/garden area. This spacious suite features a Texas-size river rock walk-in shower, plus a deep whirlpool tub for two.

Our house is extremely large and open! We have a formal living room and a lounge area. We have tv's in every room, a karaoke machine, a shuffleboard and some games in the lounge, a full kitchen, a formal dining area and breakfast table. We have an incredible outside oasis with comfortable outside seating areas, fireplaces and a sparkling pool! We love the tropical vibe, and you will definitely see many tropical plants in the gardens that you will feel as if you are in the tropics somewhere!

Guests love how we are very close to downtown Fort Worth, Six Flags, DFW airport, AT&T Stadium, downtown Dallas and lots more. Workout gym, the mall and local eateries are in close proximity. Not only is our location very conveniently located to tourist attractions, but we also have a very stylist home and a welcoming feel.

It's a 2-5 minute drive to some great restaurants. Stockyards (a 2-5 minute drive) is renown for it's unique restaurants and shops.

The space
The guest house comfortably sleeps two people, sharing a bed. If you are traveling with a third person, or simply need extra sleeping space, we have a twin-sized air mattress available for you to borrow, or a pac'n'play for a little one.
(Please ask for this in your reservation request if you need it).

There is a kitchenette work essentially for light meals. Including a microwave, sink, freezer/fridge

Check-in time is 3pm or later. Access is through a keyless lock for which you'll be provided a code prior to arrival, so late night check-ins are not a problem. Check-out time is 11am

The guest house is roughly 300 square feet, and features:

We keep the place well stocked with all of the basics, as well as extra towels and blankets.

Quiet, ground floor studio apartment in a gorgeous historic neighborhood close to downtown and we are pet friendly!

The space
Our dog Rosy will greet you at the door of this quiet guest space. (She lives in our house but loves to run out and gently greet people). It is a 500 square foot ground floor studio apartment with a full bath and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove /oven, toaster, microwave and full size fridge. There are dishes , silverware and pots and pans-we leave you coffee and breakfast foods for the morning ( and a few other things!) We have a 40 inch TV with Apple TV where you can access Hulu and Netflix and other channels. There is a Temperpedic queen size bed with a fresh duvet cover . Feel free to bring your pets to hang with Rosy! We live in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and parks- only 1 mile from Magnolia Street where there are many restaurants and bars.

Clean up spills, take care not to stain the furniture, use appliances carefully, etc. If this is not something you'd like to consider during your trip, our place may not be a good fit. (I realize this seems like a silly request, but you would be surprised... ;))

PETS: Dogs are allowed with prior consent from host. Please reach out to me before booking to discuss breed and temperament. Please note, we are surrounded on 3 sides by homes with dogs. So if your dog is agitated easily by other dogs, our place may not be a good fit. We also do not have a full yard- just a small dog run next to the guest home.

A reasonable pet fee will apply for approved dogs. Fee is per dog, with approval from host based on breed, size, and temperament. Additional fee may apply based on length of stay to cover additional cleaning needed. Damage from dogs will be charged to guests' damage deposit.
