The location can't be beat for those traveling. The rate for rooms here is a bit too high though given the negatives of this hotel: Lots of contractors living there. Several homeless families live here. Abandoned RV's and cars all around. Even an abandoned boat on a trailer in front of the property, on the street. I didn't see any roaches there. No bad smells anywhere in my room or in the hotel. There was no pot smells. And no bed bugs. I would stay here again if I was in a pinch for a place to stay a day or two. "

We proudly and directly manage a 5 star cleaning team that has been thoroughly coached in disinfection and sanitation. All touch points, surfaces, kitchenware and linens, including upholstery, are being disinfected and sanitized on a routine basis. Our guests' health and safety are our top priority.

Your space is located in the lower level of our beautiful home in the historic Old North End of Colorado Springs. The unit is spacious, comfortable clean and modern. The unit has a private entrance. The common room has a kitchen, dining table with seating for 5, sofa bed, comfortable furniture and 55" smart TV. The newly renovated kitchen offers a full refrigerator, convection micro, stove top, blender, dishwasher, garbage disposal and just about all the tools you'll need to make a nice meal. The space has 2 full bathrooms, 3 cozy bedrooms and even a massage chair, perfect for relaxing after a long day of adventuring! The master bedroom has its own TV as well. Enjoy the hot tub just outside the sliding glass door or stretch out in the hammock located in the large, shaded backyard where there is also a charcoal grill/smoker, picnic table and a gas fire pit. Direct gated access from the back yard to Monument Valley Park Path.

The space
Nearby sleepy mountain town Green Mountain Falls features charming restaurants (the Pantry is famous for breakfast and the Blue Moose is a favorite beer and pizza/wings stop for after the days adventures), a gazebo on a lake, playground, hiking to waterfalls, and seasonal art installations. You'll be a quick 10-15 or so minute drive Woodland Park or Colorado Springs for provisions, night life, and more, but you might not ever make it there!

The interior is cozy as it started a a one room Cabin over 100 years ago; it has been added on to since. Now up to date with modern appliances and such, more importantly new beds for a great night of sleep. We sit directly above HW-24 for easy access to all the area has to offer. We have shaded decks with outdoor dining, a gas grill, and many water features, but it's the big Mountain Views that our Guests like the most!

There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. The open floor plan provides a comfortable space for dining and relaxing after a long day of adventuring. The back yard has a gas grill, outdoor fireplace and hot tub.

The TV is capable of streaming Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, Youtube and more! Local channels are not connected.

Guest access
You have access to the entire indoor guest space and yard. The friendly host lives on site in a separate part of the home. As you can see in the photographs of the front of the house there are a series of stairs to get to the entrance of the home.

Other things to note
The space is most suitable for ages 4 and over due to a lot of western memorabilia and decor that may not be the safest for little curious hands, and a lack of railing on the outside decks.

The yard is fully fenced and has water features seasonally that make it a pleasant place to spend time.

This is bear country. Please do not leave any food outdoors or in your car.

Pets are allowed in Winter months only between October-March. This is due to the wildlife in the area.

Keyless lock on front door. Relaxing front and back patio is 4-20 friendly.

The master bedroom is equipped with a King bed, Remote work desk station for telework, 52 inch tv which includes a roku, double sinks, sitting tub, standing shower, walk in closet and free high speed internet Wi-Fi throughout the house.

The other 3 bed rooms all include queen beds, closet, tv and roku with high speed Internet. They do share a fully finished bathroom.

The kitchen area has nice granite counter tops with stainless steel appliances like the dish washer and fridge.

It's also fully stocked with all the essentials: a refrigerator, electric stove, dish washer, microwave oven, coffee maker, plates and dishes, utensils, blender, and all the essential housewares.

The living and dining room is very eloquent with a very accommodating finish. The floors are also hardwood in kitchen and living room areas contain carpet. You also have the ability to park 2 cars inside the garage as well as washer/dryer use.

+ Please make sure you have an All-Wheel-Drive vehicle to travel to the property. This is especially important in winter months.

+This property is a 1970's A-frame with some steep staircases. Small children that are crawling or unsteady on their feet are not the best fit for this cabin.

+This home offers seclusion and breath-taking views. That said their are natural hazards such as wildlife and rugged terrain. Pets and children should not be left unsupervised outside.
