Summary:
Fully private suite with private entrance. With a king bed in the bedroom and a queen futon in the living area it will sleep up to four guests. There is a microwave, under-counter refrigerator, coffee maker and small dining table. We have supplies for making coffee and dishes stocked. Beautiful, luxurious and completely renovated Victorian mansion perched high on a hill directly above the city of Cripple Creek. The striking design of the Gold Strike Inn is just the first of many distinctive features that will please you. The space
With four rooms (bedroom, full bathroom, living room, and kitchen) as well as private fenced backyard and private driveway, this tiny cottage is a private home of your own with everything you would expect. Built in the early 1900's it has been renovated with stucco siding, new kitchen cabinets, counters, carpeting (living room and bedroom), bathroom, windows, and outside doors. Please note, the Cottage is located in an urban area with mixed commercial/residential use. You are likely to hear some traffic, people walking and talking along the street, kids out playing. Our location in the city puts us very close to city fun. With that said, we are only minutes to the mountains, forest, and trails. It’s a sweet spot for both here on the west side of Colorado Springs!

The place is a perfect size for a a single traveler or a couple since it has one bedroom/queen bed. The Home2Roam Cottage has a kitchen with microwave, toaster oven, full sized refrigerator, coffee maker, electric teapot, sink, all dishes and cooking utensils. It is everything you would expect with a kitchen except please note there is no full-sized oven. There is a gas grill right out the back. The Home2Roam Cottage is a great base camp for your adventures.

Guest access
Access to the Home2Roam cottage is by keyless lock and private entry. Since the tiny cottage has it’s own separate yard, driveway, and entry, guests can come and go as they please. It's truly a little home of your own. The cottage is accessed through an alley, so the front door view is a typical driveway and alley. Your private backyard allows you lots of privacy, southern sun, and a peek through the trees of the Front Range/Pikes Peak. For outdoor space, the backyard is where it's at!

+Backyard: There are two gates in the cottage backyard, one leads to our backyard and one to the driveway/alley. There are chairs to lounge in as the patio is south facing and gets good sun in the afternoon all year long. There is also a small gas grill if you’d like to grill.


+Bathroom: The bathroom is a full bathroom and has a bathtub and shower, toilet and sink. Fresh, clean towels and linens are part of your stay and there are easily accessible extras so you can "refresh" as you need. The bathroom includes a heat lamp for quick “warm-ups” on cold mornings. The window to the bathroom is a beautiful glass tile feature. Did you forget shampoo, lotion, body wash, hair dryer, or toothpaste? We have back-ups in the cabinet for you!


+Bedroom: The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, topped with a three inch memory foam cover. The bedroom is located on the side of the house opposite the alley and farthest from the street, it is quiet and when the sun comes up, can be made as dark (or as light) as you would like with room darkening window treatments.

+Living Room: The living room and bedroom are carpeted. There is a small expandable table that can double as a work station or eating table in the living room. There is no separate dining room. There is a 50 inch Smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player for you to connect to. If you have a Firestick or other device or subscriptions, you can easily connect. Our Wifi is hardwired, dependable, and fast. We also leave a couple old school video games for your to enjoy if you choose.


+Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and basic cooking gear/pantry items, if you need it and don’t see it, we would likely have it to lend to you. Please note** There is no dishwasher and does not have a full sized stove.** The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric teapot, and Cuisinart coffee maker (honey, cream, sugar included). Colorado Springs tap water is great, but we do have a Brita filter for you to use if you choose. We do not have a washer/dryer in the cottage but can suggest a local/close laundromat upon request. To augment cooking options, there is a gas grill right out on your kitchen patio.

The Home2Roam cottage is heated by a modern natural gas stove in the living room. The stove is thermostat controlled in the winter so you can set the temp and leave it. We also have a space heater for quick warm-ups on summer mornings if you need it. Colorado is dry and very pleasant in the summer. The Cottage also has a wall mounted mini-split unit best for A/C in the summer. We also have a couple fans. Humidity in Colorado is usually extremely low. The A/C unit will help you help Mother Nature cool the space down when the sun goes down.


+Storage: Places to put your things is ample in the Home2Roam cottage! There is a closet with hangers and several cabinets and drawers for you to use if you prefer not to live out of your suitcase during your stay.

The space
Welcome to our newly renovated 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, with a fully stocked kitchen, wifi, and living room. At this quaint haven you will find comfort, entertainment, and privacy in the center of Colorado Springs. You will have your own free parking space and private entry. We do live in the main house on the property, so we’ll be close by for your needs.

LIVING ROOM:

Enjoy this welcoming and charming space with a relaxing sofa, coffee table, smart projector and screen. Here you will also find a quaint table and barstools for dinner time and game night.

KITCHEN:

Stock the large refrigerator and freezer with all your favorite ingredients and craft yummy meals on the stove or in the oven. Here you will also have your own microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, and cooking/eating utensils. Although this unit does not come equipped with a dishwasher, we provide everything you may need to keep the dishes clean and ready for the next meal.


BEDROOM:

Comfortable Queen bed, night stand, closet, and AC Unit.


BATHROOM:

This full bathroom is a tight squeeze but serves all your needs with a toilet, sink, shower, and shelves for storage.

You will have your own parking space in front of the unit. Please message us if you need additional parking spaces and we can accommodate. You will have a unique code to the unit for your stay which will be messaged to you the morning of your stay.

The space
The private Bungalow is located in the rear of the main house. There is a private dirt road that circles the property to gain access. The upstairs has the kitchen and general living space. The couch upstairs folds out to a queen bed. The downstairs is an open area with full size bed or bunkbeds (If Requested) and private bathroom.

Welcome to the Love Nest; a couple’s retreat at the foot of Pikes Peak!

This cute & cozy cottage is the perfect place to relax & reset. Enjoy a glass of wine on the private deck or soak in the Jacuzzi. Slip into a fuzzy robe & slippers (or something more comfortable) & lounge by the fireplace. Minutes from hiking trials by foot, minutes from Manitou & Colorado Springs by car.

The space
The Love Nest is located in the mountains west of Colorado Springs. We like to think of the Love Nest as a cozy, couple’s retreat. And don’t be fooled by it’s tiny footprint, the Love Nest has everything you need for a romantic getaway. There is ample parking, although the driveway can be an issue for vehicle without 4-wheel drive. A wrap around deck offers spectacular Mountain views. Lounge in the hammock, soak in the jacuzzi, or simply sit back and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the natural beauty that surrounds you.

Step inside, and you’ll find a well-appointed apartment boasting curated décor and luxury amenities. The king-size bed is perfect for a good night’s sleep or a great night’s play. The wall mounted fireplace sets the mood and can provide radiant heat in the winter. The unit also has a split unit heater/AC, so you can be comfy no matter the weather.

The kitchenette features a mini-fridge with a separate freezer compartment, ice maker, coffee machine, electric kettle, dishes, glassware, utensils, and bar set. The unit also features a Keurig coffee machine along with a selection of coffees and sweeteners. You will find a first aid kit and cleaning supplies under the sink, should you need them.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, finished in soothing cerulean tile, and a toilet with a heated seat and bidet, (for the truly brave.) Feel free to use the provided bathrobes and slippers (washed and disinfected between each stay.

There is also a smart TV, some quirky reading material, and a few games and puzzles.

This is a small space, so storage is limited, but there is some space in the blue bench at the end of the bed.

Just so you know: There is a second rental unit at this address. The Love Nest is about 100ft away from the other house, and has no windows or doors that face it. The hot tub is obscured by wildflowers in the Summer and Fall, there is also a row of Cyprus trees that acts as a privacy screen in the Winter and Spring.

We do our best to keep the unit fully stocked and the listing up to date, but we are not perfect. If something isn't as it should be, please let us know and we'll do our best to make it right before your stay concludes.

You have access to the cottage, deck, and hot tub. Please do not enter the storage space beneath the cottage or the other house on the property.

Other things to note
The other house on the property is also an Airbnb. You may see or be seen by guests staying at the other house while you are on the rear deck. We ask that everyone try and be respectful of each other's privacy. If other guests are making you uncomfortable, please let us know and we will address the situation.

Fort Carson is nearby!! Cute, remodeled, 1 bedroom guesthouse is conveniently located near Ft Carson, and just minutes to downtown Colorado Springs. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby and just 3 minutes from I-25, the gateway to the Rockies. Hike Cheyenne Canyon, Helen Hunt Falls, or Garden of the Gods. Visit the 5 Star Broadmoor Resort, or gamble in Cripple Creek (1 hr). So much to see and do!

The space
This 1 bedroom guesthouse is BEHIND the main house on a privately fenced property. This cute 750 sq ft bungalow has a full Kitchen equipped with everything you’ll need!
Coffee pot, coffee, and tea too! Bedroom has a comfy King bed. A twin roll away bed with memory foam mattress is there as well. The double doors in bedroom opens to the back yard. A private, covered patio with grill and a small fire pit. Also available: Queen air mattress (on legs) available upon request. Pack & Play available should you need it. Please ask, so we may place in the house before you arrive.
Smoking is only permitted outside of the house. Pets ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Guesthouse is BEHIND the main house. Access it through the side gate at the back of the attached carport. Guests may use this covered single car spot and all of the driveway in front of it. All self check in instructions will be sent prior to your arrival.

Other things to note
There is a larger home in front of this guesthouse. The larger home is also an Airbnb and may or may not be occupied during your stay. (We’ll let you know). Both backyards are behind the same fenced area. Your guesthouse has it's own private covered patio, firepit and gas grill, and is not shared by the guests in the front house. Book both homes for large family gatherings!

Cabin is located on 62 acre historic homestead, with 360 degree views of Pikes Peak, open fields and surrounding mountain ranges. Main house, barn and most buildings on the property were built in the 1800s and are recorded on the National Register of Historic Places. The cabin has been restored offering modern charm and conveniences to make for a cozy stay.

Due to the small space the hot water heater is 20 gallons. You can get a good 7 minute shower. If you run it empty, it will take an hour to recover. :-/

Fully private suite with private entrance. With a king bed in the bedroom and a queen futon in the living area it will sleep up to four guests. There is a microwave, under-counter refrigerator, coffee maker and small dining table. We have supplies for making coffee and dishes stocked. It is just a short walk to the main lobby where we serve our complimentary waffle breakfast each morning.

This cozy little cabin sleeps 4 people. With one queen sized bed and one queen sized sofa sleeper. There is one bathroom. Please note cabins have heating only. It has a kitchenette with microwave and undercounter refrigerator. It is close to our lobby, laundry room, and communal firepit.

With over 300 days of sunshine, enjoy our 35 ft heated pool, in a tropical pool house open all year round! The pool house offers WiFi, a 4K Smart TV, pool toys, lounge chairs, a shallow end for little ones and a 6.5 ft deep end for the adults!
