From mid-April to mid-September hummingbirds frequent my feeders, they are a pleasure to observe! Hence the name Hummingbird Casita! We often see deer in our back yard along with other wildlife so please enjoy this relaxing space!

OUTDOORS
Enjoy the outdoors with a relaxing 3/4 mile walk to Liberty Point and enjoy the view of the Pueblo Reservoir, drive a few miles and make use of the Park's hiking and bike trails or drop a line in and do some fishing. Deer and eagles are often seen while sitting on your private patio. We have available space for your camper or boat.

This charming American bungalow is centrally located in the historic district of Pueblo, making it a pleasant stay. You will be just minutes away from the Pueblo Riverwalk and many delightful and unique shops and restaurants.

The space
Room and private bath is the entirety of the half-story upstairs, separating it from other spaces. It has two twin beds or make into one king- size bed.

Our non smoking rustic cabin offers a mini fridge, composting toilet, kitchenette with basic amenities. There is no shower on site. This unique cabin is conveniently located in a quiet community near rock climbing, the Arkansas river and the Royal gorge as well as many other outdoor adventures.
Mindfulness meditation is available upon request with pre scheduling.

Other things to note
We have two friendly dogs named Schmutz and Lily. We do our best to keep them quiet and they can't access your space. However, on occasion they alert us to the presence of strangers and other wildlife, so you may hear them for a short time.

We also have a somewhat vocal cat named Sirius who we keep indoors at night, but who might object to that by meowing for a short period of time.

The Studio is an inviting space that is perfect for one person and workable for two. A pet is welcome (2 pets are possible, please inquire!) there is no designated outside space for them but leash- walking the pretty neighborhood is a treat. The studio has off-street or street parking. Just a 5-minute drive to downtown, the Riverwalk, and City Park which also has a dog park, and a 10-min drive to the Pueblo Reservoir. No pet fees, no cleaning fees.

The space
The studio sits at the end of the driveway and is one room with a day/trundle bed, table for eating/working, a full kitchen and small yet full bathroom. It is perfect for one person and a pet and is workable for two people. The beds are single-sized. See photos.

Located in Florence, the antique capital of Colorado, our little studio apartment has big personality. It's the perfect size for a couple or small family. You can warm breakfast in the kitchenette and enjoy eating outside on the private attached balcony. After a hard day of playing at our areas numerous attractions (hiking, mountain biking, white river rafting, Royal Gorge Tourist Train, and the Royal Gorge Bridge to name a few), a comfortable bed awaits you in a cozy home away from home.

The space
A wide variety of quality restaurants are located within a few minutes drive . There are numerous attractions to enjoy close to Florence like white water rafting, the Royal Gorge Train, the Nation's highest suspension bridge, mountain bike trails and antique stores. Please note- the studio apartment is not handicapped accessible. There are 2 flights of steps and a gravel walkway to get to the room.

There is a private entrance with self check in access. There are two flights of stairs (8 steps per landing) to reach the studio apartment. The room is not handicapped accessible due to its location. There is an attached balcony to the guest room with seating and a comfortable space provided for our guests to smoke outside.

There is an active train track across the street from us with about 3 short trains coming through per day.

We follow the Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol which involves through cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces.

No smoking or open flames of any type are allowed inside our studio apartment. This includes but not limited to cigarettes, vaping and marijuana. There are designated places outside to smoke.

Any type of illegal drugs are forbidden on the property. Any guests partaking of illegal substances on the property will be reported to the police, Airbnb and a poor review will be written.

While there is no cook top or oven in the kitchenette, there is a small coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave in the kitchenette with plenty of storage in the cabinets. Dishes, glasses, coffee cups and silverware are also provided.

There is a smart TV in the room that has Roku which has many great movies and TV shows. You can also sign into your personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. If you do sign into your personal account, please make sure you sign out of your account prior to check out. Please note, we do not have cable, satellite or local stations .

We do have a sofa bed in the studio apartment if needed. Please request in advance.

The loft cottage is a newly remodeled guest house, that used to be a garage. Enjoy outside spaces with lighting, seating and gas fire pit. The main living space has a small kitchen with cooking essentials provided, a breakfast seating area, coffee nook, full sized oven/stove and small fridge. A sofa, smart HDTV, and a few board games are available for your enjoyment. Full bathroom is available on the main level. Go upstairs to the loft bedroom for a good nights rest. Also available is a smaller smart tv in the bedroom and a reading corner to enjoy a book.

Loft is located behind the main house on a corner lot. Upon your arrival you will notice a sign indicating the property. Parking is available on side of the property in the driveway parking spot provided. Enter through a private gate which takes you around to the house entrance. A key pad will grant you access to our loft. A code will be sent to you before arrival. You will have access to entire guest house and small private yard.

Whether you're hiking mountain trails as a family or want a cozy retreat as a couple, the Loft is a great central hub for your stay. Completed in 2017, the Loft is conveniently located just off US 50 in Canon City, the heart of the Royal Gorge region. We are 45 miles south of Colorado Springs and 60 miles east of Salida.

The space
The Loft is located on the second story of our detached garage on our primary residence and has a private entrance. At almost 700 sq. ft., there is room for anyone from an independent adventurer to a family of 5. The full kitchen offers the tools to make your own meals. If you prefer to dine out there are many unique local places as well as chain restaurants nearby. After your adventures, come back to the Loft and enjoy the cozy fireplace and watch movies on the 48" 4k TV. The daybed offers a cozy place to curl up with a book. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR RESERVATION ONLY INCLUDES USE OF INDOOR SPACE. NO ACCESS TO OUTDOOR SPACES ARE PERMITTED (except parking). Also, there is no smoking/vaping of any kind allowed on the Loft property (including outdoor spaces).
