We had a nice 3 night stay with my wife, 94 y/o Father-in-law and our 2 pups :-) Great restaurants in town and close to Canon City for shopping and adventure. Visited the Abbey Winery in CC for a relaxing afternoon of wine-tasting and charcuterie! Jen is a great host - we couldn't have asked for a nicer getaway... We'll be back!"

The host, Amy, is fabulous. We had inquired about a blender (for breakfast smoothies), but when we arrived there was no blender. She went out and bought one and delivered it! Another special touch is that she has labeled the kitchen cabinets and drawers where everything is and goes back. Really makes the cooking more efficient and you don't see that in most vacation rentals. (Thanks Amy!)"

- "We enjoyed our stay at the property, it was clean, well decorated, and in an excellent location!!!!!" - "Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return. The apartment was very clean and well-appointed (for an older building) and the kitchen, TVs, couch and bed all did what they were supposed to. My only concern for a summer stay would be that there is one small window that barely opens, and no ventilator in the bedroom at all. There is a window AC unit, but I worry it would still get hot and stuffy. During check-in the info in the VRBO app had the wrong door code which was awkward (and could be unsafe at the wrong time) but management was quick to return my calls/texts with the correct info. Hopefully they update the check-in info. As far as location, you're a very short walk from the river path which is nice, and the Indian place across the street was great. Can't say the same for World's End Brewing which is a shame. I recommend staying here, especially for the very reasonable rate. There are no scenic views or a relaxing porch if that's something you require, but if you'd rather be walkable to downtown, this is the place."

- "Loved our stay here! The drive there was magical and it feels very secluded. It is a rustic accommodation, so helpful to keep that in mind as its more like camping in nature than having an actual cabin. However, we had everything we needed while there! We saw that people were cold, so brought extra blankets, but didn't end up needing them as the sheets/comforter was very warm. The cabin itself does get chilly in the evening, so make sure to bundle appropriately. Also, I very much so recommend a hiking backpack as it made our 7-10 minute walk to/from the car much easier! Overall, the hosts put a lot of thoughtful touches throughout and we would love to stay again sometime."

Apo is a newly updated Airstream at Desert Reef with modern amenities. Apo has a few quirks we want to let you know about. Apo is the smallest Airstream at Desert Reef, but still as gorgeous and cozy as the others. While fully functional, Apo has low water pressure, hence our lower price point on this Airstream. (All guests have access to our new bathhouse.) Apo is at the very end of our line of Airstreams, making it the most private and secluded.

This Airstream features a private bathroom with access to the new bathhouse with private showers, and queen bed that sleeps 2. All Airstreams have pour-over coffee stations. All Airstreams have heat and AC. This unit is not rent-able for towing. This property is not pet or smoke friendly.

A one-time cleaning fee of $45 will be added to all overnight stays.

Main Pool Access: Overnight guests will have main pool access during open pool hours between their check-in and check-out. On weekdays, guests can enjoy additional soaking time until 4pm on checkout day. On weekends, guests can enjoy additional soak until 1pm on checkout day.
