-My 4 dogs share the yard with you. It can be arranged ahead of time, and I can try to keep them out of the yard, when you're there, but you may still come across them. They are friendly, but may bark when they first meet you.

Must like dogs, since my 4 friendly dogs share the yard. Deer do roam the property. No service animals due to shared yard with my dogs. You may hear them barking, but it would be brief.
It is a basement space of our house and we are up at 530am, but we do try to be quiet as possible. We are conscious about keeping the noise down, but like a hotel, you will hear some noise above you. I have a noise machine available, if needed.
There is a not separate temperature control, only heat/air vents. I have a separate portable heater, electric fireplace and fan. The utility room is in the space, so you will hear some noise. It stays cool from the summer heat.
The entrance is accessed thru the back of the house via a short sidewalk, the deck and 10 outside stairs. It may be snowy in between shoveling. I do my best to keep it clear.

Welcome to our cozy retreat in the small town with a big heart, Parker, CO. Our safe & spacious walkout basement offers added privacy with a separate entrance to the unit, and provides all the comforts of a home including full kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, making it ideal for extended stays or weekend getaways.
We are only a 10-minute drive to Downtown Parker and I-25.
Various restaurants, grocery stores, parks, hikes, etc. are only a few minutes drive away.
Use the side-door to take 10 stairs down to the garden-level walkout basement with private entry.
As you enter the unit, to your left you will notice the kitchen with brand new full-size dishwasher, 5-burner electric range w/ oven and microwave, and fridge. We also provide pots and pans, plates and bowls, utensils and cutlery to prepare and enjoy your meals at the dining table to your right.
The living room next to the dining area offers comfortable seating for conversations and viewing your favorite shows on the 55in Smart TV. The living room windows open to the west with a garden-view, bringing in ample daylight.
Next to the living room is one of the two inviting bedrooms, with a memory-form queen bed, soft and clean sheets and pillows, dedicated workspace with office chair and monitor for productive working sessions, and a closet to store your personal belongings.
Down the hall from the private entry is the second bedroom, also equipped with a cozy and clean queen bed, second dedicated workspace, and a walk-in closet.
Next to the bedroom is a well-lit bathroom with vanity, making getting ready for the day a breeze. We provide hairdryer and basic toiletries in the bathroom; if you need anything else, just ask. Fresh set of towels are provided in each bedroom for your convenience.
In the hallway, the laundry room has brand new washer and dryer, for your use, for free. No need to haul your dirty laundry to the laundromat and fumble with coins! The water heater room and the storage room in the hallway are locked.
Small space heater and tower fan are provided in each bedroom for your comfort. A/C and heat are shared with the main house, and cannot be controlled from this space.
The staircase in the hallway leads to the door to the main house. This door is locked at all times. The staircase is blocked with a baby gate, and should remain engaged at all times. This ensures safety and privacy for the guests in this space, as well as for the owners living in the main house.
Outside, the peaceful backyard awaits you! Enjoy the crisp Colorado air while sipping your coffee or your favorite glass of wine. With direct access to the backyard, you have ample space to unwind. Backyard is a shared space with the owner's family. We are mindful of your space and privacy.
The walkout basement has private entry with a keypad lock, accessed via stairs through the side-door. The keypad code will be shared on the day of check-in.
Parking is on the street in front of the house. There is room for 2 cars.
The backyard is shared. Access to the outdoor deck is not provided.
At no point during the stay would a guest need to access the main house and the outdoor deck, or the owner need to access the basement (other than for maintenance, for which a 24-hour notice will be provided and permission will be requested).
We will be available to communicate with you about any questions that you may have about the unit/stay, any additional accommodations that you may need and ultimately any emergencies that may come up during your stay. The best way to reach us is through VRBO messages.
We maintain the thermostat at 70F in the winter, and 75F in the summer as it's connected to the main house, with the thermostat located upstairs. The air vents can be adjusted to regulate the air flow. If you prefer warmer/cooler temperatures, we provide portable heaters and fans in the unit. Additionally, we offer a humidifier to ensure a pleasant atmosphere during your stay.
The smart TV is connected to high-speed internet. You may login to your preferred content providers such as Netflix and YouTube to enjoy your favorite shows.
My wife, Monika, and I (Kunal) are working professionals and live in the main house upstairs. We may have friends and family visit us occasionally for evening drinks & food, or for an extended period. Please note, as much as we try to keep the place quiet and relaxing, occasional noise from upstairs may occur.
Security cameras are placed throughout the exterior of the property including the backyard, for safety. Absolutely no cameras inside!

You may NOT leave your dogs in the apartment while you are gone, as I have had issues with dogs barking for hours on end when left alone.
If you're looking to book for an extended stay, bear in mind that the apartment does NOT have a full kitchen, though you are welcome to use the main house kitchen. If you require a kitchen and don't want to share mine, please do NOT book this location.

The space
This is a private suite on the lower level of a large home on two acres in a residential rural area. It includes a separate entrance and keypad entry. There is plenty of parking at the top of the driveway with steps down to the large deck and patio entry. The deck and patio include chairs and table settings with access to a BBQ grill. Access to the private pickleball court on the property is available upon request. If you don't have your own paddles, just ask and we'll provide them for you!
This property is unique because it has the rural feel of the area but with quick and easy access to I-25 and E470. There are a lot of shopping and dining options nearby, including Park Meadows Mall just 12 minutes away. Downtown Denver and DIA are about 30 minutes away and Colorado Springs is 55 minutes to the south.

After going through the outside door, your ENTRANCE DOOR IS ON THE RIGHT with a keypad lock. A door code will be provided to you before your arrival.
Inside the unit, you will have access to the adjacent laundry room with a washer & dryer. There is a furnace room that can be used for additional storage. There is a locked owner's storage room that is not accessible to guests.

This is a safe and quiet place, so please respect other guests or family who may be using the deck, patio, or backyard.

We frequently host guests visiting Denver, Colorado Springs, and the acclaimed IVF facility in nearby Lone Tree. Guests find this a very desirable property.
The space
The roomy suite includes 10 ft. ceilings with an expansive living room area and two large bedrooms - both with king-size beds. In the main living area is a 55" flat-screen TV, gas fireplace, and a full kitchen set up with a full-size refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, microwave oven, countertop convection oven, two-burner hotplate, and dishwasher. (It does not include a full-sized stove/oven.) A washer/dryer adjacent to the unit is available upon request. There is a porch and a large deck with tables and seating to enjoy beautiful sunsets and quiet evenings looking toward the Rocky Mountains. The onsite pickleball court and gazebo are available upon request. We also have pickleball paddles and balls available.
Guest access
You'll enjoy your own entrance and keypad access to your executive suite on the garden level of this large home. Parking is available for at least two vehicles at the top of the driveway with a walkway down to the large deck and entry to the unit. The key code for entry will be provided to you before your arrival.
Other things to note
The onsite pickleball court and gazebo are available for use upon request. Pickleball paddles and balls are also available. A washer & dryer adjacent to the unit are available upon request at no cost. Laundromats are located within three miles and dry cleaning within one mile. The closest grocery store, King Soopers, is about a mile away and there is a Super Target and Walmart, as well as many restaurants and other stores not far away.

Our modern Victorian house is located 10 minutes from downtown Parker. The apartment is in our walk-out basement with amazing views looking out over 40 acres of grassland and ponderosa pines. It is a peaceful property where you can spot deer, coyotes, and fox. You can see and hear owls and many other varieties of birds, and my favorite, the hummingbirds. The patio in the evenings is a wonderful place to end the day while watching beautiful sunsets, or play some frisbee golf or cornhole.
Other things to note
You will need to walk down a slight hill in the grass to get to the entrance. If it is winter, that could be snow instead of grass. The snow will be plowed, but could be packed.
