Welcome to the Rocky Mountains, where beauty, adventure and convenience collide. Enjoy your stay at Peak View Chalet while overlooking one of the most beautiful views of Pikes Peak. This panorama stretches out before you as you step out the door.

The 28 acre estate is located in a gated community. You will have private access to a full size apartment which is attached to our family residence. The inside space features a bedroom with a comfy king size bed and walk-in closet. The full kitchen is well stocked so you can prepare family meals and enjoy eating together inside or out. You can watch movies on our large screen TV while lounging on our queen size pull out couch. If you are traveling with children, they are welcome to share our children's trampoline or explore new trails. There is friendly dog that also resides with us and she will make you part of her family very quickly.

You will feel like you're in your own world, yet driving down the mountain road, you go less than 5 miles to access Walmart, Woodland Aquatic Center,, the Dinosaur Resource Center, and many local restaurants. Heading down Ute Pass you quickly come to the Gazebo and pond in Green Mountain Falls, Pikes Peak Toll Road and the North Pole Amusement Park. For those who love to shop, you travel 12 miles down beautiful Ute Pass to enjoy the unique boutique shops of Manitou Springs and a little further is Old Colorado City. In 30 minutes you are in the middle of Colorado Springs and can visit the Cheyanne Mountain Zoo, Garden of the God’s or the Air Force Academy . If the ski slopes are your goal, the drive to Breckenridge is less than 100 miles over well maintained roads. A 1.5 hour drive to the The Royal Gorge is a fun way to spend the day or re-route to white water rafting in Buena Vista. Cripple Creek gambling is 30 miles away over picturesque, winding mountain roads.

For outdoor enthusiasts, you can hike from our home up to Rampart Range Road and on to Rampart Reservoir or the Northfield Reservoir. This hike is not for the fainthearted but it is beautiful. If this hike isn’t for you we have other hiking and biking trails close to our home and a short drive to Green Mountain Falls. Rock Climbing is a 20 min drive away or you can drive just outside of Woodland Park to go off-roading.

Come and enjoy some time away in the mountains at Peak View Chalet, where seclusion is attainable with the conveniences of the city.

The other reviews aren't exaggerating how beautiful the space is - we had our coffee out on the patio looking at Pike's Peak every morning. I would recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up to the house, and if you use Apple Maps, it might take you a bit further than the house. For some reason, our GPS took us to a property further up the mountain, and since we were getting in after dark, we surprised the neighbors. The check in process was very easy once we found it, though! They were very responsive and had great hiking recommendations. We will definitely be back!"

This is an ideal retreat for a maximum of two guests although a friendly pet or two may be allowed if they get along well with other dogs. Horse boarding is available with extra fee and proper paperwork, and a garage space awaits your vehicle.

This space is an entire lower level of the home with a private entrance, one bedroom, a relaxing separate living room, a private hot tub for guests, and a luxurious bathroom with indoor sauna. The front porch has beautiful views of Pike's Peak. We are minutes from downtown Woodland Park with cute local restaurants, parks and shops. We can't wait to share our favorite city with you!
Safety Note: Must be able to manipulate steps without railing

Your space is the entire lower floor of the home, and is separate from the living area upstairs. Since the upstairs is a separate rental, you will probably be able to hear moving about upstairs, but we do ask all our guests to try their best not to be overly noisy and follow all quiet hours. You will have your own bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, living room with a queen pull out couch, kitchenette, an outdoor hot tub, indoor sauna and the bathroom. The kitchenette does not have a full oven, but we did provide a hot plate and large toaster oven. There is no thermostat in the unit but the home stays set between 68-70 degrees. If you are too hot please feel free to open the windows or use the floor fan provided. If you are too cold please enjoy the cozy gas fireplace to warm up!

The space has a Roku device that you can use to sign in to your favorite streaming services (Hulu, Netflix, etc).

There are eight steps without railing up to the unit's door that may get sketchy in the snow.

We would ask that all smoking be done outdoors and away from the house.

Guests are provided with their own parking area where two cars can park side by side. You'll walk from your car halfway up the drive to the railroad ties that are the steps to the unit. You'll have to carry luggage up the steps as the rollers won't work well. Once you get to the top of the stairs you will approach a gated area where the hot tub and door is located. To unlock the door you will need to enter the access code provided upon booking followed by the check mark symbol.

We are happy to provide recommendations or help if you need it. We love Woodland Park, and we want you to love it too!

Our neighborhood is quiet and very close to several cute shops and restaurants in downtown Woodland Park. We really enjoy Cafe Leo Coffee Shop, Judges, and Memorial Park. We are located 12 miles from the entrance of Pikes Peak, 17 miles from Garden of the Gods, and 19 miles from downtown Colorado Springs.

Uber's and Lyft's are very limited in Woodland Park. It's easy to get a ride to the Airbnb, however getting a ride from the property can be difficult.

4WD is highly recommend in the winter months. The driveway is a little steep, and although the driveway gets plowed (typically done in the mornings) when we experience snow it can be difficult to drive up especially when we receive snow after plowing has been completed. Please account for snow being present in the winter months (November-May)

The Cleaning Fee is set by the Cleaning Pro that we contract with. They are trained, experienced, and go through the AirBnb 5 Step enhanced cleaning process which includes disinfecting high traffic/touch areas (remote controls, light switches, rails, etc.)

Please note that we offer two options to protect both you and the property, ensuring it remains in excellent condition for you and future guests: a non-refundable Damage Waiver for a small fee $50, or a refundable Safety Deposit hold on your card of $1000, which covers potential damages during your stay. If you are bringing a pet, please know there will be a pet fee of $10 per pet. These options will be presented to you after booking via our Guest App.

Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. We stand by our firm by our cancelation policy and getting travel insurance is your best option for protecting your trip from the unexpected.

Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft operate in the area, especially around Woodland Park and into nearby Colorado Springs. While public transportation options are limited in this mountain town, most visitors find a personal vehicle or rental car to be the most convenient way to explore the area at their own pace.

▶ To avoid insects and mold, please keep all windows and doors closed. Leaving them open while the AC is on could result in a fee up to $500. For your comfort, we recommend setting the AC between 72-83°F.

▶This tiny house is privately owned and does not include maid service or daily cleanings. The cleaning fee covers a final cleaning (after your checkout).

▶ Unregistered guests are not permitted.

▶ We are happy to accommodate small to medium-sized pets (20–50 lbs, 15–20 inches tall). This guideline helps us maintain cleanliness and protect the condition of the property. A non-refundable pet fee of $125 per pet per stay applies only if noted at booking. If not, we’ll request the fee manually. Pets outside the size range or undeclared may incur a $250 fine.

▶ No parties. Significant noise or playing loud music after 9:00 pm will result in you being asked to leave without a refund for the remaining time of your reservation.

▶ No smoking of any substance is permitted in the unit. Evidence of any type of smoking will result in a $250 fee, and you will be asked to leave without a refund for the remaining time of your reservation.

▶ Check-in is at/after 4 pm and check-out time is no later than 11 am. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability. Late check-out without prior approval will result in a fee of $100 per hour for each hour after 11 am.

▶ During check-in, you will find towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toilet paper provided for your convenience. Please note that we do not provide additional supplies during your stay, so we recommend planning accordingly.

▶ Please note that moving the furniture in the tiny house is not permitted. Violation of this rule can result in a penalty in the amount of $250.

▶ TRASH: Please place trash in the two containers located near the park entrance. Be sure to seal all trash bags properly before disposal. Kindly bring the trash to the designated spot at the park entrance on the scheduled collection days as noted at the property.

▶ Do not flush paper towels, wipes, trash, or feminine products down the toilet. Please use the bins instead. If it is found that something has been flushed and clogged the septic system, you could be charged damages.

▶ Our properties are professionally cleaned and treated regularly for pests. Due to the local climate, occasional insects may enter the home despite our best efforts. Please let us know if you experience any issues, and we’ll address them immediately.

Summary:
Relax with the whole family in this peaceful two bedroom tiny home. Sleeping up to six people, this tiny home offers a Queen-size bed, a twin, full bed, and a Queen-size pull-out sofa. Enjoy a bathroom with tub and shower and large TV and DVD player for those nights in. The kitchen is fully equipped and all linens are provided.

The Space:
This cozy little cabin sleeps 4 people. With one queen sized bed in one bedroom and a bunk bed with a full sized on the bottom and twin sized on top and a queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room. There is one bathroom. Please note cabins have heating only. It has a kitchenette with microwave and undercounter refrigerator. It is close to our lobby, laundry room, and communal firepit.

We are just one mile from downtown Woodland Park where you can enjoy many restaurants, bars, and shops. Don't want to go out? Our local pizza spots will deliver right to your cabin. We are located just 30min from Colorado Springs and just 20 min from Garden of the God's.

Most everything you need is within walking distance. There is a cab service right up the street, as well as uber and lift available as needed.

Child Friendly

This space is an entire lower level of the home with a private entrance, one bedroom, a relaxing separate living room, a private hot tub for guests, and a luxurious bathroom with indoor sauna. The front porch has beautiful views of Pike's Peak. We are minutes from downtown Woodland Park with cute local restaurants, parks and shops. We can't wait to share our favorite city with you!

The space
Your space is the entire lower floor of the home, and is separate from the living area upstairs. Since the upstairs is a seperate rental, you will probably be able to hear moving about upstairs, but we do ask all our guests to try their best not to be overly noisy and follow all quiet hours. You will have your own bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, living room with a queen pull out couch, kitchenette, an outdoor hot tub, and the bathroom. The kitchenette does not have a full oven, but we did provide a hot plate and large toaster oven. There is no thermostat in the unit but the home stays set between 68-70 degrees. If you are too hot please feel free to open the windows or use the floor fan provided. If you are too cold please enjoy the cozy gas fireplace to warm up!

The space has a Roku device that you can use to sign in to your favorite streaming services (Hulu, Netflix, etc).

There are eight steps without railing up to the unit's door that may get sketchy in the snow.

We would ask that all smoking be done outdoors and away from the house.

Guest access
Guests are provided with their own parking area where two cars can park side by side. You'll walk from your car halfway up the drive to the railroad ties that are the steps to the unit. You'll have to carry luggage up the steps as the rollers won't work well. Once you get to the top of the stairs you will approach a gated area where the hot tub and airbnb door is located. To unlock the door you will need to enter the access code provided upon booking followed by the check mark symbol.

Other things to note
The Cleaning Fee is set by the Cleaning Pro that we contract with. They are trained, experienced, and go through the AirBnb 5 Step enhanced cleaning process which includes disinfecting high traffic/touch areas (remote controls, light switches, rails, etc.)

Please note that we offer two options to protect both you and the property, ensuring it remains in excellent condition for you and future guests: a non-refundable Damage Waiver for a small fee $50, or a refundable Safety Deposit hold on your card of $1000, which covers potential damages during your stay. If you are bringing a pet, please know there will be a pet fee of $10 per pet. These options will be presented to you after booking via our Guest App.

Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. We stand by our firm by our cancelation policy and getting travel insurance is your best option for protecting your trip from the unexpected.

***For stays longer than 30 nights we do require a lease agreement, background check, copy of drivers license, and a one time insurance fee to be paid before your arrival.
