It is with in driving distance to must see sites in the area such as Pikes Peak, The Dinosaur Museum, Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, Santa's Workshop, Garden of The Gods, Cliff Dwellings, Cave of The Winds, Manitou Springs, Olympic Training Center, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and much more! Breckenridge is a beautiful 1 & 1/2 hour drive. Outside the Farmhouse are sidewalks for walking, riding bikes and absorbing the views of Pikes Peak. Memorial Park is 2 blocks away and is a small paradise with unforgettable views of Pikes Peak!

Once you arrive, you can park your car and walk to downtown where you will find shopping and dining. You can also walk to the Casino pick up area where you can catch the bus to Cripple Creek for some gambling or to catch a local theater show.

Full kitchenette with washer and dryer included. 15 mins to downtown Woodland Park, 2 blocks to BLM land for a walk, ATV, UTV and dirt/mountain bike riding. , 2hrs to Breckinridge. Relax and watch the wildlife walk by. About 5 miles from Charis. Be aware the staircase to the bed is steep. We are pet friendly but please make sure you enter your pets in the booking and pay pet cleaning fee. The cabin is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, a 6qt instant pot, some condiments, sugar, coffee, coffee creamers and seasonings. Driveway can fit 2 cars and one in addition in front of the gates going into the yard. Please do not block the service road as the neighbor does use that. We recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter months.

Built by a gold prospector sometime before 1930, the cabin is one of three located on 40 acres 1-½ miles back inside the Pike National Forest. Quiet and secluded, surrounded by wildlife, the cabin was renovated in 1996 and recently updated.

The space
At 8200 feet a few miles north of Woodland Park, summers are warm in the daytime and cool at night. Far from any city lights, the view of the stars at night is amazing. Wildflowers are abundant in the surrounding forest. The annual Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory count will document over 30 species of birds in 24 hours in June just north of the cabin. Hummingbirds are regular visitors along with chipmunks, rabbits, the resident red fox, the occasional deer and elk in the spring and a black bear in late summer and fall. The cabin's water source is pumped from a stone well fed by a pure mountain spring just above the cabin. The old prospector also operated a still! Electricity is provided by the IREA. Remarkably the cabin roof and ceilings are unique; crafted from 1931 and 1932 Colorado license plates!

The old road into the property crosses Trout Creek on an old bridge that is soon to be replaced. It is safe; just proceed cautiously. Four wheel drive is recommended but not necessary during dry weather. There are several trails accessible from the cabin-find the map on the wall inside the dining room!

Other things to note
The USDA Forest Service post fire conditions at several locations between Woodland and the property. Please do not use the fireplace, outdoor fire pit, or outdoor cooker when danger of fire is above moderate. No shooting is allowed in this part of the forest. Off-road vehicles are prohibited.

Please pay the 35.00 pet fee for the entire stay at the time of Booking. If you bring a pet and don't pay the pet fee we reverse the right to double the fee or turn the cabin into a NON Pet rental.

The cabin is cute and cozy and located just off Main Street in Woodland Park Colorado. Walk to Farmer's market, Donut Mill, Coffee House, City Park, Movie Theatre, Restaurants, and Nightlife. The city of Woodland park is a great little Mountain Town. It has many activities throughout the year. October fest, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Christmas Parade, Fall Colors, 4th of July celebration, and many more.

Relax and get away from it all here! We are about 10 minutes from Woodland Park and are about 9,000 FT elevation. Charis Bible College is about 15 minutes away! Rita the Rock Planter is in Victor, and about 30 minutes, Colorado Springs is 45 minutes, and Cripple Creek is 40 minutes away. Mueller State Park is just 15 minutes away. The property is full of wildlife and really offers all that mountain living has to offer.

The space
Relax above the clouds in this peaceful mountain getaway. The room offers incredible views and has a private deck IDEAL for watching all the wildlife the area has to offer. Most of the wildlife is very friendly and not afraid of you. Please lock your vehicle,as bears are very curious to peek inside for snacks! There are numerous trails nearby as well as Rampart Reservoir for hiking, kayaking/SUP, and fishing. Please take a look at the guidebook on here or just ask for recommendations!

The journey to the room doesn't come without adventure. The road to get up here is primarily dirt and can be dusty, muddy, icy, or snowy, depending on the season.

*Note* If booking in winter months(November-May), please inquire first about the dates you want to book. 4x4 vehicles may be required.

*Note* There are dogs on property, but they are NEVER out without one of us. They are often out "sunning" on the upper deck and will bark when you arrive. Please don't be alarmed, they're just saying "hi" and letting us know you've arrived! They may also bark during your stay at a delivery driver, etc. We do our best to keep the barking to a minimum. However, they are dogs!

The room has a private entrance that is located at the back of the house. There are arrows to follow to the end of the driveway down the stairs to the backyard. There is also a private bathroom area. No space is shared. There is a private deck and small kitchenette that includes a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and keurig.

We do have dogs in the house and they will bark when you arrive and occasionally when Amazon makes a delivery. We do our best to keep them quiet but they're dogs and will bark. Please park ONLY in the designated spot. There are bears in the area, lock your vehicle or they will get into the vehicle.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher as well as all the essentials you need to prepare great meals. + Cabin is Showing Some Age: we think it's still beautiful and love staying there but please be aware that the deck has some weathered wear and tear and the stairway carpet has some traffic marks that don't come up from our professional cleaning. The driveway is shared with the basement Airbnb. The top portion of the driveway [by the garage] is for this Bnb, and the lower parking area [marked with a sign] is for the basement guests. ONLY the driveway is shared with the basement guests. You will have the ENTIRE UPSTAIRS for you and your listed guests; the Hot Tub and backyard is NOT SHARED with the basement guests.

Please note that we offer two options to protect both you and the property, ensuring it remains in excellent condition for you and future guests: a non-refundable Damage Waiver for a small fee $50, or a refundable Safety Deposit hold on your card of $1000, which covers potential damages during your stay. Other things to note
The driveway is quite steep, therefore we encourage you to park up above the cabin in a designated parking spot. In the summer months (when there is no snow), any car is fine to use on the driveway. In the winter months, we recommend four or all wheel drive or at least good tires. There is good Starlink Wifi. The cabin has all the essentials other than a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The hot water heater is small and lasts about 10 minutes before needing to reheat.
Be weary of wildlife including deer and bears.

The Lil Lincoln sits at an elevation of 9,560ft. and was originally built on the Western Slope of Colorado in the 50’s and was moved in 1965 to it’s current location near Woodland Park.
The story behind the move was that a doctor moved his practice in 1959 to Woodland Park. He wanted his nurse to join him, she said she'd move if he moved her cabin. Well he did, and so did she.

This cabin is best enjoyed by couples and families. The SOLITARY BATHROOM is located INSIDE the Master Bedroom.

It is located in a cul-de-sac within a quiet neighborhood with retired neighbors on either side.

Because we maintain good relationships with neighbors, we strictly enforce quiet hours from 9pm to 8am and are a NON-SMOKING property.

The entire cabin is less than 900 square feet. The cozy (read small) bedrooms include a master with a king size memory foam bed and a bunk room more suited to two adolescents. We do have a pack-in-play as well for littles.

The couch pulls out to a full-size bed with a 4” memory foam mattress which proves quite comfortable for most.

We have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to brew a fabulous cup of local Story coffee or fairly-traded Darjeeling green tea, as well as cook up a gourmet meal (or reheat take-out if that’s your style). There is a small four-seater table and a two-seater bar for dining.

Our laundry room is handy for drying out snow clothes or keeping your wardrobe fresh.

The fenced aspen-filled yard is a beautiful space for kids to play in, or for vacationers to sunbathe on the provided loungers while steaks are sizzling on the grill.

The hot tub seats four and is a wonderful way to relax after an adventure packed day. Guests do need to be aware that they utilize the hot tub, and wood burning stove at their own risk. We ask that you be extra considerate when enjoying these amenities. NOTE: Firewood is not provided, if you would like to have a fire in the wood burning stove be sure to pick some up on the way in.

While it is possible to Uber here for $40ish, you’ll likely want your own car to make the most of the area.

This cabin is off the main road, about 20 mins. to town. 45 mins to Cripple Creek. Main airport is in Colorado Springs and about 45 mins. to the cabin.
This cabin has a BBQ and a great view. This cabin is pet friendly and can rent out for the winter up to 6 months at a lower price. This cozy log cabin is away from it all, but not to far to get into town. Has large rooms and bath room is large also. Great views and a place to set out side and relax. A great park down the road for hiking.

The space
This one bedroom Log Cabin set on a mountain with a lot of trees and wildlife. The rooms are large and the views are great. The wildlife is know to come right up to the front door of this cabin. This cabin is good for handicap large rooms for wheelchairs. The sleeper sofa are great for kids not great for adults.

The quests have the whole cabin. We do not have AC at this cabin, there are ceiling fan. We have a portable window fan and portable heater.

You are away from it all, but still not far from town.
I do not charge a cleaning fee. So please read the note book at the cabin for check out. All that is ask is to take the sheets off the beds that are used, dishes put away and to call the number on the refrigerator to check out. If there is and excessive then normal cleaning it may come out of the deposit. I'm not asking you to clean bathrooms, just pick up inside and outside after your self. We do have a house keeper come and clean after every check out.

This suite has windows to let in plenty of natural lighting, tile wood plank flooring, a kitchenette with a sink, fridge, & gas range, walk-in shower and generous storage. The shower and toilet share a sink with the kitchen. The cabin was built in the '50s and remodeled recently.

Keep trash inside trash cans to avoid bears. There’s plenty of wildlife including Bear, Deer, Elk, Turkey, Geese, Squirrel, Hummingbirds, Steller Jays, Mountain Lion, Red Fox and Coyote.

I live in home upstairs with Gracie, Louis and Abby (mini schnauzers)

Washer and dryer are available for use in suite.

Fire Ban Stage 2 prohibits grilling, campfires smoking and use of combustible engines!

You may use the gas grill on back deck unless it’s a fire ban!

Other things to note
For those visiting in late May/early June and during the adult-only weeks in September, pack additional layers for the colder evenings – including light gloves and a winter hat.

We are an In-Town property in Woodland Park
allows easy access to shops, business and restaurants.
All the Colorado adventures are close by to enjoy hiking, fishing, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods. This cabin home has been fully renovated and is fully stocked. Relax and enjoy time in the hot tub, around the fire pit, and BBQ all while taking in the majestic Pikes Peak views!

Up a quiet road in peaceful Green Mountain Falls, this family-friendly, spacious cabin located on a wooded 1/2 acre is the ideal restful spot for any mountain vacation. A flowing creek runs year-round and the trailhead to waterfalls is just up the hill!

The space
Perfect for families or bigger groups, there's plenty of outdoor and indoor space for everyone to find something they love and a space to unwind: generous seating on the deck, a lovely fire pit, a relaxing hot tub, and a large bunk room for kids to enjoy movies or video games.

The location could not be more ideal: follow the creek to downtown to enjoy local art gallery, a coffee shop, ice cream, one of the best breakfasts in the Pikes Peak region at the Pantry, or pizza and wings at the Blue Moose, a large playground and a lake for fishing! Get in the car and in 5 minutes you can be at the Woodland Park Walmart or Starbucks, and only 15 minutes to all that Colorado Springs has to offer.

Large 2 car garage - a luxury for snowy winter days and to protect from summer hailstorms

Guests have access to the entire house and grounds including the large garage. The only exception is a locked storage space above the garage.

Our team sets out linens appropriate to the number of people on your reservation so please make sure your reservation accurately reflects the number in your party. Be aware that we charge a $30/night fee for additional guests after 4.

Other things to note
As with most Green Mountain Falls properties, there is no AC at the property. Colorado evenings are usually cool, so we recommend opening windows in the evening and closing them if it's hot during the day. We have provided enough fans to keep the air moving in every room. Local coffee grounds are provided. There is a Keurig, please bring your own preference of k-pods to use.

Every other Saturday lawn care will be onsite and every other Thursday the hot tub is serviced.

All bookings require positive ID and security deposit. Minimum age to rent this property is 25.
