The Powder Pad is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin nestled against the wetlands of the Goose Pasture Tarn, 3 miles south of Breckenridge. This one of a kind cabin is extremely secluded and backs to hundreds of acres of wetlands and national forest. What makes this cabin so special is the ponds and streams right out of the back door. You will experience the benefits of being in an extremely private setting - yet still being in such close proximity to Breckenridge.
In addition to the 2 bedrooms, the cabin has a loft with a Queen size murphy bed. The cabin sleeps up to 6 people - via 3 Queen size beds.
After a fun day of skiing, the hot tub will be just the ticket to warm you up. You will find this to be an ultra private hot tub experience in the most serene and private setting underneath the stars.
The Powder Pad's kitchen is stocked with all of the amenenties you may need: crockpot, pots and pans, coffee maker, blender, etc.
The living room features a flatscreen Samsung smart TV and a wood burning stove. We stock the cabin with firewood for our guests. There is nothing better than curling up in front of the fire after a day of mountain fun.
There is so much to do in all of the seasons:
In the winter months, in addition to skiing and snowboarding, you can cross country ski or snow shoe right out the back door. There are many hiking trails near the Powder Pad.
In the summer months, you and your guests will enjoy 3 decks off of the cabin that add to the living space. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the upper back deck, listening to Spruce Creek that runs right through the back yard. The beautiful ponds off of the back of the cabin boast beavers and fish. Grab a fishing pole and take a walk through 'Moose on the Loose' trail right out of the back of the cabin. Convening around the fire pit in the evening with s'mores is the perfect way to end a summer mountain day.
In the Fall, the whole scene around the cabin explodes with shades of gold. The intimate view of the famous Boreas Pass is yours to take in from either of the back decks.
There has been many wildlife spotted from the Powder Pad including our local Moose, Beaver, Deer, Great Blue Heron, Hummingbirds, Osprey, and Geese. All observed from the back deck of the Powder Pad. What will you see when you stay???

ABOUT THE LOCATION
This charming cabin in the mountains is 10 minutes to historic downtown Breckenridge and world class skiing. It sits on a 1 acre spacious wooded lot, conveniently located on a quiet dead end street just off of highway 9. It is very easy to find and the roads are easy to navigate as well as the driveway. In the winter, our driveway and streets are diligently maintained. In the summer, the abundant wild flowers are a delight as well as the occasional moose sighting!
BEDROOMS
The main level master bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed with down pillows, down comforter, and a duvet. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other is a kids' bunk room with a full and twin on top. A flat screen TV with Play Station is also in this room. For your comfort, all rooms have humidifiers.
THE KITCHEN AND DINNING AREA
The kitchen/dinning area has plenty of seating for everyone. For making meals at home, there is a variety of pots and pans, cooking utensils, and spices. In the summer months there is a weber gas grill out back. There is also a drip coffee maker as well as a french press.
THE LIVING AREA
In the living area you will find a large flat screen TV with a stereo and aux hook up for iPhones. The living area feels quite spacious with its two story vaulted ceiling. A host of games and a wood burning fireplace make this the perfect place to hang out. Comcast cable plus WI-FI are all provided. This authentic cabin, which was built in the 60's, has been thoughtfully decorated to maintain its vintage charming retro style.
OUTSIDE
Outside, a covered deck is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, and the large patio below with breathtaking mountain views has a big picnic table perfect for a crowd. Also 4 Adirondack around a fire pit is another great place to relax.

The area around the cabin is surrounded by numerous 14,000 foot peaks. Minutes away are Quandary peak and epic skiing, hiking, biking and fishing, not to mention the best historic ski town in summit county. Just south, less then a half an hour away are the towns of Alma and Fairplay. Also known as South Park, this area is rich in mining history and offers a beautiful scenic drive with sweeping panoramic views. North of town, are Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne.

Colorado sunshine floods through the abundant windows adorning the architecture of the entire room at nearly 9,600 feet above sea level.
There is plentiful, comfortable seating for entertainment and dining. Enjoy the smart TV, gas fireplace, or the view. The massive log beams, hardwood floors, leather furniture, large HDTV, and stone fireplace make this a warm, inviting space. The kitchen is everything you could want. It has two sinks, a fridge with filtered water and ice, a beautiful gas range and oven with hood, as well as an island with barstools. It is large and fully equipped with everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. The dining room seats 8 comfortably and has access to the side of the wraparound deck which includes the gas grill and an outdoor dining table. The powder room opens to the kitchen as well as the foyer which improves access and flow on this main level.
On the west side of the main level is Bedroom 1. This main level bedroom suite includes a plush King bed, matching bedside tables, direct access to the deck, and a walk in closet. It's private bathroom has dual sinks, and the shower is a steam shower with dual heads and a bench. The upper level of the home has a landing that overlooks the great room. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are on opposite sides of this landing, creating privacy and a nice separation of spaces. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have a Queen bed, vaulted ceilings, and a private balcony with incredible views. They each have their own private bathrooms which feature large vanities with stone counters as well as a bathtub and shower. Bedroom 4 is on the lower level. It is a large room that easily accommodates two bunk beds, with room to spare. The bunk beds are Twin beds over Double beds, so you have 2 Twins and 2 Double, making this room ideal for singles, kids, or even couples. The fourth full bathroom is just outside this bedroom, easy to access from the lower level's rec room.
The lower level rec room is a secondary living room with some great features. On one side of the room, you have a wet bar for serving drinks or apps as well as an HDTV with surround sound. Two full size sofas are positioned nicely to enjoy this home theater setup. On the other side of the lower living room is a table that is ideal for cards or board games. Right in the middle of the room are double doors that open to the patio, hot tub, and yard. Don't forget about the bonus room! This additional space is above the garage. A stairway between the kitchen and garage leads up to this space, which is very private and quiet. With a large desk and chair, it makes a great home office, and also has some armchairs, in case any kids or adults need a private place to relax.
Location:
The Camron Lodge is located 12 miles south of Breckenridge. It is very close to many trails and trailheads, including Quandary Peak, which is one of Colorado's "14ers." This location requires you to have your own vehicles, and we strongly recommend 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles with good tires year round, in all seasons. Keep in mind that this home is located at nearly 11,000 feet in elevation, so snowy icy road conditions are common, and snow showers possible even in summer. The neighborhood is just off highway 9, which is paved, plowed, well maintained. The neighborhood roads are dirt roads, and there are multiple switchbacks between highway 9 and the Camron Lodge.
Arrival, Access, and Parking:

Accessing this property requires only 1-2 steps to enter the main (middle) level. Parking is no problem here. The 2 car garage is oversized, and there is outdoor parking for more vehicles. Trailers are possible but not recommended, particularly from October through April, given the possibility of adverse road conditions and the roads leading to the home.

Parking Information:
For a smooth and stress-free stay, please follow all posted signs and parking regulations in Breckenridge, as enforcement is strict. If you need additional parking, the Town of Breckenridge offers paid overnight options in two convenient locations: 1) south of town at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, and 2) north of town at the Airport Road satellite lot, which also accommodates RVs and trailers.
Colorado Traction Law:
From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge . This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements.

Please be aware that during the winter months, roads and driveways are likely to be snow-covered or icy, making four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) essential for safe travel. We are unable to offer refunds for vehicles that get stuck or require towing, and unfortunately, we cannot assist with towing or vehicle recovery. Additionally, some properties may require 4WD or AWD even during non-winter months due to uneven terrain and dirt roads. - "Loved it. But bathroom extremely small" - "This cabin was lovely with high end furnishings. This cabin is in a fancy RV resort with the cabins (chalets) in non RV sites. There are streams throughout which apparently can be fished. The cabins are small single wide trailers, with additions of a large room on the side. This cabin has a nice yard in back with a large propane grill and nice chairs. There is a water feature in back, which is not available, but is pretty to look at which is lit at night. I particularly enjoyed sitting in the sunny room next to the kitchen, enjoying the breeze. We are older and tall. The queen bed was almost wall to wall in the bedroom. There was no place for suitcases. The bed was high. The bathroom was very small, both in terms of a small, low, tight commode and a ceiling that would be tight for anyone over 5' 11” or so. There was no handrail on the front steps. The living room is quite spacious and comfortable. There was a big dining room which we used for our luggage and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved the place but would pass on it for a second stay because of the bathroom."

- "The home had everything including games for the family. The beds were firm but comfortable and the house was pristinely clean. Communication with the management team was quick and prompt. Only downfall was the fireplace didn’t work even after someone came to check/fix it. Not a huge dealbreaker though. The corkscrew provided wasn’t great so we purchased a new one and left it for others to use in the future. There was a ton of dishes, cookware, etc. Another slight downfall was the tv in the main room upstairs was very outdated, so you couldn’t watch anything other than a dvd. Again, not a big deal, I just watched shows on my phone when going to bed. We did however have to rent vehicles to get to the property, so take them seriously when they say AWD or 4WD. We thought our SUV’s could make it since we’ve been up mountains before, but we got stuck half way up. Being up the mountain was worth it though with the views. Please also be prepared for elevation sickness. Apparently it’s a thing. Bring Dramamine and anything else to prepare for that. You’ll need it in Breckenridge period if you’re from Texas especially. Overall, we would definitely stay again. Gorgeous neighborhood and lovely property. We had a great time!"

This large unit has vaulted ceilings (one of only 31 on property) and is located on the top floor facing the mountain. Ski-in/Ski out access at this beautiful lodge only five minutes from the Independence Chair Lift. This luxury two bedroom condo sleeps 8.
The Master bedroom has a king size bed, a large dresser, closet, flat screen TV, and ceiling fan. The Master bathroom includes a double vanity sink, granite tops, toilet, and a large whirlpool bath tub. There is a connecting bathroom (3rd bathroom in villa) which has its own vanity, toilet and full shower.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, large dresser, closet, flat screen TV, and ceiling fan. There are dehumidifiers in each bedroom. This second bedroom also has its own separate bathroom and shower, as well as its own small living room with a sofa/sleeper and a flat screen TV. There is also a little galley kitchen area, including a small refrigerator, cook top, microwave and utensils.
The unit has a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, and private balcony. Plush leather sofa, heavy timber accents, granite slab counters and plenty of windows that frame the stunning views of the majestic Rocky Mountains. It also has a washer and dryer.
The resort has a full service restaurant and bar (Bar Down) which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is large and spacious indoor ski locker room. Two ski lockers are included with the rental, along with two indoor parking spots in the heated basement garage.

Adjacent to the living room, you will find the dining room with a dining table with seats for eight underneath an antler chandelier. Welcome to Campfire Studios! After a day of playing outside, or shopping downtown, this luxury cabin will invite you to relax in front of the stone fireplace. The two story windows and cathedral ceiling build a perfect frame around your view of both Blue River and Quandary Peak (14,271’). Located 4 miles from Breckenridge Ski Resort, this cabin provides the perfect retreat for family and friends. Well stocked with all the comforts of home, you will immediately relax and start your vacation.
The space
The west-facing wall of windows lights up the inside of this luxury cabin, and reminds you to sit outside on the large covered deck and enjoy the sounds of the great outdoors. After all, that is why you are here.
Starting on the inside, you will find a very open floor plan. The large family room, dining room, and kitchen create the ideal space to entertain. The cabin is luxuriously furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, granite countertops, washer, dryer, gas fireplace and in-floor radiant heat (perfect for your feet after a long day in ski boots!). The open loft overlooks the main living space and provides a nice retreat for those looking to relax with a good book, or for kids watching cartoons.
We participate in a clean linens program that assures all linens, including down mattress covers, are changed in between every visit. As a family that travels frequently, we personally enjoy the comfort of knowing everything is clean and fresh. The first floor master bedroom has a king bed, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower (large enough for a party), jacuzzi tub, double vanity, private toilet room, and large walk-in closet. Two upstairs bedrooms both provide queen size beds, large closets, and a second master bathroom with double vanities and large glass shower. The loft is furnished with a new sleeper sofa (queen size) and entertainment console. All beds have new pillows and new synthetic down comforters
Downstairs, you will find a large oversized room that is perfect for playing or spreading out. The downstairs room is nicely furnished with a new set of twin bunk beds, twin-sized trundle, and a new queen-sized sleeper sofa. The laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as detergents.
The two car, heated garage will keep your vehicle out of the weather. Plus, you will find outdoor equipment (ex. snowshoes) in the garage that you are welcome to enjoy.
The other creature comforts include cellular coverage (rare in Blue River), wifi, ROKU equipped TV's with access to Sling-TV, Netflix, (also allows you the option to sign into your own streaming subscriptions, ex. Hulu, Amazon Prime), Apple TV in the loft (signed into Netflix, also gives you the option to sign into your own subscriptions), outdoor gas grill (plumbed direct with natural gas, no more running out of gas mid-steak!), and direct access to both the national forest and Blue River. If you don’t feel like driving to town, the Summit Stage (free shuttle) has a pickup location at the entrance of the neighborhood. So get outside and enjoy, after all, that is why you are here!
Almost everything you need to enjoy your time in the mountains is stocked and available – paper products, spices, condiments and soaps. The Forget Me Not has a (king) bedroom on the first floor, along with a mudroom, laundry, room, kitchen, full bathroom, dining room, living room (with gas fireplace) and a wonderful back deck with unobstructed mountain views and a hot tub surrounded by trees. On the second floor, you’ll find two bedrooms and another full bathroom. The bedrooms are charming and cozy. One of them with woodland wallpaper and bunkbeds (2 sets of twins) the other with a comfortable (queen) bed and private balcony where you can watch the morning sun rise majestically over the mountains. The detached basement Rec Room is a great place to play foosball or watch the game. It stays nice and warm in case you want to sleep a couple extra guests down there (but please note that there is no bathroom access in the basement Rec Room without going outside and back in through the front door to the main house.)

The space
The highlight of the home is the relaxing view and sound of water off of the back deck as it sits on the Blue River and has a view of a mountain ridge. In the back yard you can either fly fish for 12-18" trout, snowshoe, or just relax in the private hot tub. There are stairs to the river and fire pit which is seasonal due to several feet of snow in the winter. The property backs up to National Forest land so always be on the lookout for moose, black bear, deer, and various birds. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning watching the sunrise over the mountains or a glass of wine at night under the incredible stars in the heated outdoor deck sitting area May-Oct. When it's cold outside, enjoy the indoors next to a cozy wood-burning fire.
At 1,180 sq ft, it's definitely a smaller home, but the setting on the river and view from the deck and hot tub make up for its size. The main floor includes a kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom with queen bed and laundry, and bathroom. The upstairs includes a master bedroom with king bed and balcony, another bedroom with two twin beds and balcony, and a separate bath both bedrooms share.
The kitchen is well supplied including both Keurig and drip coffee makers, crockpot, K-cups, seasonings, olive oil, condiments, paper towels, etc. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and hair dryers. The home has high speed Xfinity wifi and cable, a 4K flatscreen with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, flatscreen in master bedroom, and oversized Samsung washer and dryer.
The home's location is minutes from Breckenridge, incredible hikes, 21 miles to Keystone, 24 miles to Copper, 43 miles to Vail, and 52 miles to Arkansas River rafting. Breckenridge elevation is 9,600 and Blue River elevation is 10,037 so be mindful of the elevation when booking.

Because of the river, sitting on the deck in summer and fall is truly as good as it gets. And you can fly fish in the backyard! The river runs year round but is difficult to access in the winter and mostly snow covered Jan-Mar.
Upstairs has two bedrooms with attached baths and a loft area with two twin beds that is a small area ideal for kids.
Main floor has a bedroom with twin beds, nearby bath, kitchen, laundry, and plenty of living space for dining, shooting pool, and two seating areas with 50" and 65" tv's.
Kitchen is well supplied with Keurig and drip coffee machines, crockpot, k-cups, seasonings, olive oil, paper towels, garbage bags.
The baths have shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, hair dryers, and toilet paper.
The home has high speed Xfinity wifi , 4 tv's with Directv stream, and oversized new washer and dryer.
The property is easily accessible, on a flat lot with 3 parking spaces.

Camron Lodge by Mountain Vacation Lodging is a custom built log home, sitting at 11,465ft, that truly checks all the boxes. Enjoy sensational views of Quandary Peak and the Continental Divide from every window and the wraparound deck. Interior features include vaulted ceilings, exquisite woodwork, and high-end finishes to complement the breathtaking views. This home feels worlds away, but is only 12 miles from Breckenridge. It has a spacious floorplan that includes 3 large bedroom suites, a bunk bedroom, a great room, a rec room, and a bonus room. Outdoor spaces include that large wraparound deck, 2 upper level balconies, plus the lower level patio and yard. You can relax in the private outdoor hot tub. The Property:
Camron Lodge is a large home, with 3 levels and over 4500 square feet. Check out the 3D tour to get a feel for the space. You enter on the main level, which includes a large bedroom suite, the great room, dining room, kitchen, and a deck that wraps around 3 sides of the home. The main level also includes a powder room, two entry areas, laundry, and a truly oversized garage. The kitchen, living room, and dining room flow together nicely. In the living room, the beautiful craftsmanship of this log home is on display. The massive center windows redefine the term "floor to ceiling" by truly starting at the floor and really bringing the outdoors in. The massive log beams, hardwood floors, leather furniture, large HDTV, and stone fireplace make this a warm, inviting space. The kitchen is everything you could want. It has two sinks, a fridge with filtered water and ice, a beautiful gas range and oven with hood, as well as an island with barstools. It is large and fully equipped with everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. The dining room seats 8 comfortably and has access to the side of the wraparound deck which includes the gas grill and an outdoor dining table. The powder room opens to the kitchen as well as the foyer which improves access and flow on this main level.
On the west side of the main level is Bedroom 1. This main level bedroom suite includes a plush King bed, matching bedside tables, direct access to the deck, and a walk in closet. It's private bathroom has dual sinks, and the shower is a steam shower with dual heads and a bench. The upper level of the home has a landing that overlooks the great room. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are on opposite sides of this landing, creating privacy and a nice separation of spaces. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have a Queen bed, vaulted ceilings, and a private balcony with incredible views. They each have their own private bathrooms which feature large vanities with stone counters as well as a bathtub and shower. Bedroom 4 is on the lower level. It is a large room that easily accommodates two bunk beds, with room to spare. The bunk beds are Twin beds over Double beds, so you have 2 Twins and 2 Double, making this room ideal for singles, kids, or even couples. The fourth full bathroom is just outside this bedroom, easy to access from the lower level's rec room.
The lower level rec room is a secondary living room with some great features. On one side of the room, you have a wet bar for serving drinks or apps as well as an HDTV with surround sound. Two full size sofas are positioned nicely to enjoy this home theater setup. On the other side of the lower living room is a table that is ideal for cards or board games. Right in the middle of the room are double doors that open to the patio, hot tub, and yard. Don't forget about the bonus room! This additional space is above the garage. A stairway between the kitchen and garage leads up to this space, which is very private and quiet. With a large desk and chair, it makes a great home office, and also has some armchairs, in case any kids or adults need a private place to relax.
Location:
The Camron Lodge is located 12 miles south of Breckenridge. It is very close to many trails and trailheads, including Quandary Peak, which is one of Colorado's "14ers." This location requires you to have your own vehicles, and we strongly recommend 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles with good tires year round, in all seasons. Keep in mind that this home is located at nearly 11,000 feet in elevation, so snowy icy road conditions are common, and snow showers possible even in summer. The neighborhood is just off highway 9, which is paved, plowed, well maintained. The neighborhood roads are dirt roads, and there are multiple switchbacks between highway 9 and the Camron Lodge.
Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with arrival instructions, and answers to any specific questions you might have. Accessing this property requires only 1-2 steps to enter the main (middle) level. Parking is no problem here. The 2 car garage is oversized, and there is outdoor parking for more vehicles. Trailers are possible but not recommended, particularly from October through April, given the possibility of adverse road conditions and the roads leading to the home.

** Please note that the town of Breckenridge is around 10,000 feet in elevation and this home sits at over 11,000 feet. If this is your first time visiting this altitude, please be aware of the symptoms of altitude sickness and how to avoid it. In general, staying very hydrated, avoiding alcohol, taking OTC headache medicines and supplementing with oxygen cans when necessary, can help to alleviate symptoms you might experience. If you live at a low elevation, it is suggested that you spend one or more nights in Denver or somewhere with a similar altitude (around 5000 feet) to acclimate, prior to coming up to Breckenridge.**
** The home is located off of a well maintained dirt road, but there are steep curves and ice, snow, or rain will cause problems for 2wd cars, especially those with rear wheel drive. Four Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive plus tires with good tread are strongly recommended and may be required anytime snow or rain are possible. Chains may be required to access this property during or immediately following snowstorms. **
