This ranch directly borders the Maroon Bells Wilderness and is the last homestead before you enter the park. - "We were a little nervous booking a room because the place had only 2 reviews on the site we booked, and it was so much less expensive than other accommodations in the area. The website also used the same picture for all the rooms, but then charged slightly different rates for some of the rooms, which was confusing. I tried messaging the property manager a couple times before booking to understand the price difference (possibly a better view or quieter room?) but never received a response. Decided to roll the dice and was pleasantly surprised with the room size and cleanliness. To be clear, the place is definitely not high end, and the furniture, carpet, etc. aren’t new or modern, but we were hardly in the room during the day, so having a clean room and comfortable bed to sleep in was great. The bathroom was probably the most dated part of the room, but there was decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The walls were also pretty thin, which I had read in a review, so I packed a white noise machine and it wasn’t a problem. They offered a pretty standard breakfast which my daughter than a lot of big chain hotel offerings. The location was great being on Main Street, with a bus stop almost directly across the street to catch a ride to Aspen Highlands, and the stop to Snowmass less than two blocks down the street. It was also around a short 10min walk to downtown Aspen village. Lastly, we stayed in room 207 and it was the cheapest room available. It overlooked the small parking lot (so no view of anything interesting) and being the middle floor, we occasionally heard the people above’s footsteps, but it wasn’t a problem and the white noise machine helped with this as well."

The AC is in wall and is loud and would randomly turn on in the middle of the night. The location is nice on Main Street but parking is limited. - "The place was very cozy. It clean and the beds weren’t too bad either. Thank you" - "We enjoyed the stay so much! The location was great with only a short walk to shopping and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious for our family. The breakfast was fresh. The reception staff were friendly. Overall a great stay and we would definitely recommend the hotel to family and friends." - "I am assigning only 3 stars for following reasons: 1. I extended my stay 3 extra nights which increased my stay to 10 days due to a death and birth in our family and had to pay the booking fee of $250 again to extend my stay. I do not support extremely poor customer service and will not be staying here again and I have a daughter and now grandson living here so I do return frequently to Aspen. I attempted to contact their customer service and was given no satisfaction or even a credit to use in the future. 2. Multiple times I returned to my room unlocked after leaving the room locked in the morning. I am a woman traveling alone at Aspen Mountain Lodge and this unnerved me each time I entered my room. I contacted customer service about this concern as well and again was unsatisfied with their response. NOTE: the only reason I am giving Aspen Mountain Lodge 2 stars is for their staff which is above and beyond considerate and helpful. The in house staff has no power to change a reservation - only some 1-800 king in the sky can do that and that is what I must be paying for."

This duplex-style home is just a mile or so east of Aspen Core, set in a quiet neighborhood. Surrounded by a copse of trees, guests experience seclusion and quiet. No need to worry about driving into town and finding parking: This house is right on the bus route! Please note: there is a full-time tenant downstairs, while the vacation rental is the separate upstairs.

Rustic mountain charm with both vintage and luxurious decor create a unique blend of fresh and familiar. The peaked, beamed ceilings and large windows let in ample natural light.

The location: Located at T-Lazy-7 Ranch, 6 miles (a 5-minute drive) from Maroon Lake and 10 minutes from Aspen. This ranch directly borders the Maroon Bells Wilderness and is the last homestead before you enter the park. Direct access to wilderness trails, creekside serenity, and ranch-based adventure experiences.

- You will need 4WD/AWD to access this property in times of snow (normally October - May). The home is not far from the main road, but it is unsafe to travel in this area without the proper vehicle.

There are no campfires, drones, pets allowed and no fishing, swimming, or wading in the river or ponds. For fly fishing at the ranch and surrounding areas, you must coordinate with the Adventure Center at The Little Nell Hotel.
